This is definitely one of the better games of the jam. Very fun, visuals are stellar- didn't reach the max cap but had a lot of fun trying. The changes in the playscreen as the levels advance are fantastic, though I find myself dying a lot in the transitions. Theme connection was a little bit weak, but as a jam game this is wonderful. Looking forward to where it goes from here!

Game's take on the theme
The boss is made from scraps from other dimensions. (The code is so held up by duct tape and glue it might as well fit the theme :sob:)
Does your game utilize the PlusMusic plugin?

It looks like one of those addictive phone games, i would definitly spent time and watch add to regain health XD
Great art and great music BTW
Also the concept is really good
very fun and addicting early iPhone mobile game feel (meant to be a compliment not sure if it came out like one) I think its super fun to play. Simple yet addicting and the generated boss while not exactly makeshift in my eyes still is very clever and I love the visuals for. (the HTML build integration into the page is a clever idea) 10/10 will come back and play further updates!
As was announced on the game's page, zooming to fullscreen didn't work...
There was some hint message about using the scroll wheel but tht didn't seem to do anything...?
Gorgeous visuals and great music! I love the filtering when the game is paused, nice touch. The simplicity of the controls is fantastic and are fun to use. Love the technical beauty of the bosses, but it may be a bit too abstract of an interpretation of the theme. I think if there was some sort of framing in narrative or gameplay to really show how the bosses are formed from universe scraps would sell it better. All in all it's a really cool game that I can tell could be addicting for any breakout or pong fans!
The game is very polished and I really liked your take on the theme/ boss rush! very good entry overall!
Amazingly polished, I love how every action is telegraphed to the player very clearly and with care. The simple idea can get very addictive if you add any sort of upgrades or anything else that diversifies the gameplay. Overall, really enjoyable!
Simple idea and really fun game! Once you get used to the game a bit, it starts to become really enjoyable.
A simple and fun game! Wished there was slightly more content, though the stuff there is incredibly well polished!
The graphics are super good and it gives me the old school feel. Masking the background music whenever the pause screen pulls up was a nice touch. Even the background music was very well made. Hope you the best of luck!
I like it. I don't quite understand what to do when one paddle dies, but I like it nonetheless.
When the ball becomes pink, you can parry it by clicking at the right time; doing so will result in the ball becoming faster, in turn, increasing the damage output. Those are some nice ideas, I plan on releasing the game on mobile if I win the jam, might include these if it does happen that I win. Thanks for playing!
Super unique and fun game! Gives the vibes of a hidden PS1 gem with neon colors and sharp SFX. Wish it had music though!
I followed your game's development on discord, and finally got to play it! I liked it. The controls were easy to learn, to procedurally generated bosses fun bo beat, the sound effects crisp. Like Dan said- some more variety would be nice. Also, maybe a way to get the second paddle back after losing it.
