Hey there, I am trying to get other to re-submit their reviews for my game if possible...it was deleted and removed from the Jam on accident based on a technicality which was solved between the Jam Host and a particular asset used in the game...please if you have time, energy, and/or generosity to re-saved your ratings/reviews for the game. Great visuals and quite fun to play, but the camera feels a bit too close to the player: it’s difficult to keep track of where the boss is
great game! i love the visuals, and it feels super good to play. the bug where you cant get hit is kind of annoying, and i think all the bosses have most of the same attacks?
i like the idea of the exchange mechanic, but i never really felt the need to change any of my items, overall though, this is a really nice game!

The music are nice, and the visual are cool too, I like the effect of the shock wave attack from the second boss, and the overall graphics of the game. The gameplay are also nice, the player movement feel pretty smooth.
The bosses looks cool, the animation of them are really nice. Tho the damge hit box on the head is a bit too big, I need to run very far away to avoid getting hit, and once it hit you, its knockback will sometime keep pushing you back to the center of the head which is a bit annoying.
But still, cool game!
Nice visual theme, the bosses are very simple, the attacks have a very short range which causes you to take a lot of damage, the camera zoom is very large and the items need more variety.
Yes it's a browser related issue. I opened the game on Opera browser and it worked just fine. But there's a major glitch when you die at first try you cannot get any damage from the boss again and you stunlock the boss with 4-5 hits. I kill the first boss, it appears over and over again. I could only pass to the second boss once. Sometimes the movement controls gets glitched out, the directions are getting mixed up. You press up, character goes down, something like that.
I am sorry with starting off with the negative things but the game has too many bugs. Besides all that, game looks and feels very very good. The character design, boss design, artistic style, i really loved that all. Art style of the game feel somewhere between PS1 and PS2 which i really dig. I also love that you see the changed equipment on your character. Btw exchanging equipment mechanic is a very good idea and fits the jam perfectly but it only works cosmetically right now. In the controls section of your game page it says right mouse click is special button but nothing happend when right clicked.
To summarize my thoughts on your game, it is very strong visually and in terms of gameplay but i think you struggle a lot in the programming department which is one the most difficult aspects of game development and i struggle a lot on that aspect too. I appriciate the hard work and time you spent on this game. I think this is a great experience for your game development career. I hope you all reach to the point where you aim to reach. Amazing presentation, nice take on the boss equipment swapping mechanic, although it lost something for me because the equipment I could pick up before the first fight are the same pieces I got offered after beating the boss.
As others have said, the hitboxes for the boss are a bit hard to work out so it's tricky to know when to dodge and when to attack, and it ran a bit slow (on my extremely budget computer so I can't necessarily count that against the game)
Really though, I can't overstate how strong the presentation is here. The graphics are really impressive and the game's overall look and feel is super cool as well. And the fact you've put in multiplayer is awesome too. Really incredible effort, I hope you continue working on this because the potential is amazing.
Game freezes when the title shows up. Can't get past that screen. Is this a browser issue? I see in the comments that everyone could play the game. I use firefox
Really enjoyed the art style and the sound effects. Game controls are smooth too. It's a bit challenging because the hitboxes are a bit confusing, but overall, great job!
Really hard boss not sure when you can attack them besides of when they slam agains't the wall (cycle bros eating good aka boring ass fight)
I need to find someone else to play this with xD I liked it but feel it was a bit too easy to cheeses the bosses! The presentation us really good though :)

Music is really nice, game controls nicely, the boss's hitboxes however are very confusing and somewhat annoying.
The graphics give me a PlayStation 1/2 feel that I love.
I would like it to be a little more visible where the enemy hits, so I know better if I am dodging it or not.

The game seems really cool, but the huge downfall i find, it's that , as the monster is really big, it's hard to understand the hitbox
Controls getting really messy if playing with someone in party. Cool use of theme and overall not bad.
This game really grew on me. At first I was abit confused but once you get past the initial hump, it got quite fun. Although I encountered a bug which made me invulnerable to all damage - so that's probably why I felt like it got easy all of a sudden. Notably to mention:
- Combat and movement is really well done. It feels fast and nice, very reminiscent of modern action games. Would be nice to be able to dash cancel out of the final combo attack but thats not a priority.
- Being able to stagger the boss is a gret touch to reward mastery.
- Most frstratingly however, is one of the boss attacks where it pokes you with its mouth is way too fast and non-telegraphed so I find it initially frustrating to fight that. At least on first glance.
But otherwise, nice!
The artstyle and the visuals are very cool. The music is definitely my favorite part of this game. It really adds up to the whole vibe. The combat though felt a little chaotic for me, more clarity would be appreaciated. That said, fantastic work, very fun game.
The game is very fun to play and the music enhances the game a lot. The fact that you can play with your friends is such a great idea. Good Job.
