Cool game overall but i think that the visuals just feels stiff, and consistent pixel size is nonexistant, 5 stars on fun tho!

Really simple but not bad game! Fights feels little stiff with some of the bosses collisions, but variety of damage sources from the player(althrought kick is just too good). Love the different bosses settings and styles!

pretty fun game, the bosses were really cool and i loved their attacks. im not sure if its a bug, or im not understanding something, but when i got to the fifth boss it kind of insta killed me, and i think i was set to the beginning? and after i got reset and beat the second boss, i couldnt go to the next one and it just killed me? im not sure, but it felt like something wasnt explained to me. but other than that, the controls felt really nice and i liked the game!
The fifth boss killing you is supposed to be a cutscene, he sends you back and all the bosses get upgraded, I would love to hear about what happened that made you unable to proceed after that. Tell me more and I will look into that.

Nice work, I loved the NES feel to this, reminded me of double dragon. Cool world building and a nice variety to the boss attacks. I know it is a ton of work for a game jam but I felt a few of the boss attacks could have used more animation or VFX to telegraph their state changes and couple of their attacks. But overall very good, thanks for making this!

I like the lighting in your game. I like the art style. But I feel that the resolution of pxiel in the game is not proportional between Player vs. Boss I might be wrong. But I like your games.
No you are correct, there isn't consistency between player, boss and background pixel resolution, I will try and be more consistent with the ppi in the future, thank you for the review.
Beautiful graphics, reminds me of NES beat'n'up, gameplay and boss need more polish, and adding a balance between melee weapon and ranged weapon will be great.
