Game's Take on the Theme
If you stop spinning, you die ! If you don't spin you can't move ! Hold your corporated left-mouse button to spin ! But beware. Centrifugal force will throw you into our corporates walls, The faster you spin, the harder to aim your dash ! The slower you spin, the closer is death !

Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
We did everything

Very, very, very funny!! Art is incredible, concept is incredible, I don't stop dying but it's so much fun ^^ well done!

Amazing entry! Great art and silly theme, good use of spin. The only thing i would change would be the controls, the feel a little awkward to control, but when they do work game is very satisfying! Well done!

Submitted(+2)

the artistic direction is really great ! Got a bit confused at first about what I was doing but I got the hang of it. Controls are smooth, I love the idea. I can't pass the shark level haha that one's really hard !

Developer(+2)

yeah the second level is quite hard, we'll patch some stuff once the jam is over if you still want to try haha

Awesome game. Gameplay, sound design, art style just awesome. Great job

Hey what a neat game you got there with unique spin mechanics! I couldn't get past the shark haha, kept bouncing off the walls too much, maybe i needed to spin less, or my gaming skills lack a lot! The dash didn't seem to give much momentum, maybe i was doing it wrong. Love the art! Congrats on submission, and good luck!

I rated and submitted to return the favor of your rate submission of my game below!

- If others read this, RATE/REVIEW my game to get me to try yours as well! Thanks!

Developer(+2)

thank you a lot !
you can dash through furniture in the second level, and ye the dash is quite hard to understand but it's better to dash while you're already moving.

oooooo I need to try that

H.A.N.D vibe here ! Really good game so far, i've just managed to get ouf of the area (and the screen so) with dashing while going to the left at full speed spinning multiples times (i just restarted, not necessary to reload the entire game, if some people have same issue).

Solid contender, gg.

The art style and concept is superb. I think the movement is surprisingly easy to control even at high momentum, so that part is really well designed and deserves a special mention. Awesome game.

Thank you a lot !

Extremely fun game, the artstyle and animations are out of this world, I like what you did for the theme and how it is not only part of your HP, but your way to attack and to move around. There isn't much for me to say, I mean, this game is a solid 5 star in everything to me. It's a crime this doesn't have that many ratings.

Truly a gem, if you have plans of expanding on it once the jam is over, I can't wait for them.

Great submission!

The world really feels alive in this game. The details in the arena background really set the vibes of this office culture. The bosses are adorable and they have fun animations (really liked the cinderblock falling down and getting picked up by a hook, and the animations for different spin speeds).

I had some issues understanding how to fight the bosses at first. For the second boss, finding out that you can smash through the desks was a game changer. I thought it was like a maze you had to get through. The last boss, I could not figure out how to beat for a while. I kept bumping into the money bag on the far left side of the arena but it did nothing to the CEO.

Holy moly, the art and animations are super amazing!  I really adore the art style.  The bosses were very unique and interesting, however, the first two bosses did have issues with informing the player on how to defeat them.  I think some sort of environmental hint (or if there was already one, something a bit more clear) would have been perfect!  Other than that, very well done!

Thank you very much!

And yeah unfortunately we ran out of time otherwise we wanted to add an intro for brick boss where an employee inadvertently bumps into the boss to show how to damage it but thought of it too late :c

And we also want to improve the shark boss introduction, but that’s probably for a version after the jam!

A very funny and fun concept! With lots of ideas!

I wish the game had communicated more about what to do. In the second level, it took me a long time to figure out that dasher was making me break my desk. Then it took me a long time again to figure out how to hurt the shark.

Anyway, it's a really good interpretation of the theme :D Well done to the whole team!

I thought I rated this game before, sorry about that everything is great and I'm pleased to say the Mac version works!

The game unfortunately does not launch on firefox :(

Developer

I’m sorry to hear that, but I have to admit I’m surprised, especially as I tested it with Firefox and didn’t see any issues. :c

However, the game can take a little while to load at times, so maybe it’s just that, or did you get a particular error message?

Submitted

maybe i just didnt wait long enough but i sat around and waited for a few minutes and it didnt finish loading

The hardcore music in the background fits really well with the game and theme!

I had a blast playing this one. At first I wasn't sure what to do with the brick but figured it out quickly, maybe adding a bit of that into the tutorial. The art, music, and playability meshed really well together. Really thoughtful way of using the spin theme. Just overall a fantastic game with really pretty art.

Thanks a lot!

Yes unfortunately we ran out of time otherwise we wanted to add an intro for this boss where an employee inadvertently bumps into the boss to show how to damage it but thought of it too late :c

Submitted(+2)

That's a really cool idea, you should totally still add it after the jam!

At least somewhere, I became a CEO :') A very well-made game! The original idea of maintaining rotation on the chair is great. I absolutely loved the first boss—pushing through the crowd to hit the cinder block was really fun. The second boss was more challenging because I had to precisely control the chair, which kept getting thrown around. As for the third one, it wasn’t difficult for me since I just sat in a blind spot and waited for the bags to appear. The music and visuals are enjoyable, with noticeable immersive elements. The game truly leaves a great impression!

An excellent little game!

For a GameJam, the game is pretty clean and well finished.
Bonus point for the very nice music and the little “utsukushii” animations!

Great visuals and great controls! My hand got a bit cramped having to hold onto the controls after a bit, but perhaps that reflects how much we suffer in corporate hell. Congrats on submitting!

Extremely impressive art and animations across the board. I loved finding new details everywhere I looked. It was a struggle at first getting the dash to go where I wanted it to and having to hold down an input to keep the character alive was a bit taxing, but it was rewarding to get the hang of it. Excellent stuff!
