The artwork is beautiful, and the gamplay is really fun!
The frog is so cute <3

How does your game fit the theme?
You are a frog jumping up a drain pipe in inclement weather. The storms come and go with rain and rising water.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
yes, except for some free Godot code addons.
Very cool game, got through it to the end, didn't break any records but did my best! (3:46) I thought I'd see who had what scores, but leaderboard doesn't load :(
The artwork is awesome, the gameplay and idea is awesome! I love this game!
Thank you for playing! There's a bug that happens sometimes with the leaderboard at the end of the run where it isn't loading scores. As far as I know we haven't diagnosed the cause of that yet but if you go back to the main menu you can see them by clicking the leaderboard button. That should show the full leaderboard. You are 56th! Nice! One of our devs still holds top spot but there are several people getting close to taking it.
This is brilliant, I had a great time playing this. The frogs are really cute and I really like the hopping mechanic. Nice job!
This was such a great game, one of the few games I spent a while playing. I really didn't like the inverted launching direction, but other than that I can't think of anything bad about this game. I love the rising water mechanic as a way to reduce rage, can definitely see a full game out of this. Good work!
Only issue I had was trying to direct the frog in the right direction, loved everything else!
Absolutely phenomenal. Love the aesthetic, as well as how the rising water encourages you to keep moving but doesn't quite spell the end for your journey even if it catches up to you. Very chill and fun game! (only time I ever got a little annoyed was when the harsh winds kicked in right as I was about to jump and sent me careening the other way lol)
Amazing game! I think it's the best I've played so far. Audio is 6/5, very lovely. Art, gameplay and theme very well respected! My only small little feedback would be to have a very basic "text/visuals" tutorial at the start, to explain that you can have different jump strength depending on your mouse drag. But it's a minor thing and controls are very straightforward & easy to learn without a tutorial too. Good job on the gamejam 👏🎊
Thank you so much for the kind words and feedback. I think you are totally right. Something to tell the player that they can vary the jump distance would be super helpful. We tried to create areas where it wouldn't be possible to continue without the small jump but I could understand how not telegraphing that could be frustrating. Thanks again for taking the time to try it out and for your invaluable feedback!
Hey! I captured your feedback in a ticket. Could you possibly tell me a little more about what you mean? Do you specifically mean that the visual representation of the jump when jumping out of the water doesn't seem to match the actual jump trajectory? TY!
You can see the issue here:

Unbelievably amazing! The art, gameplay, sound, the entire thing is so amazing! And the global leaderboard will make me want to come back! Great job!
I really enjoyed this game. I appreciated that the rising water level helped me when I would get stuck on a jump. I knew I wasn't going to get the best time, but I felt like I was accomplishing something each time I got a little bit more ahead of the rising water. The jump mechanic is great and the little frog is cute. Well done!
Wow I really liked this one, the atmosphere was really cool with the great looking art and awesome sounding music. The weather effects like wind work well and make an added challenge, and the controls are smooth and clean. The water level rising and how jumping out of the water works felt really good. The leaderboard is also a very strong point of this game. Nice job, really cool game!
Very cool mechanics and aesthetics. Very cozy and relaxing - until i fall from like 40m
Cute game! Really liked the visuals and atmosphere. I don't know if it is a bug but the trayectory only appears when in the surface of water. The water going up is an interesting solution for reducing the frustration of loosing progress, but still keeps it competitive with the leaderboard. I really liked the ending with all the frogs!
Amazing game! A lot of fun to play. I wasn't expecting the wind and rain to push me - cool addition. Would love to see my progress as I go (and how close I am to the finish). Well done!
Thank you for playing and the feedback! A little minimap or progress indicator would definitely help. The only indication of progress we were able to get in was a little sign that is about 3/4 of the way up the drain that says "Almost There". I wish we would have had time for more features though because that would have been a cool addition.
This game is pretty fun to play, and I feel like I need to speedrun it more to get a more respectable score to showcase on the leaderboard. The sound design is AWESOME! I really like how the music gets muffled while you are underwater.
To be honest, I don't think I would change anything from this game.
PS: But it would be nice to have it like jump king where you lose a lot of progress when you miss a jump. Rage games FTW lol. (Just a joke. Don't make it a rage game T_T).
The sound design was sooo good. Our composer did a wonderful job and we are super proud of how it turned out. The very firs thing we thought of when we chose a jump king style game was "How do we make this not super frustrating for players?" So we knew from very early on we were breaking the rage game rules with this one. :) Thanks for taking the time to try it out!
First of all, this game is beautiful! i love the pixel art, very professional
Secondly, the concept was super cool, combining something like doodle jump and a slinging platformer was really cool!
Sometimes i felt i didnt jump as high as i should, but other than that i found the controls worked well
Great game
Thanks for the experience
