How does your game fit the theme?
The game has 2 States:
One is Calm State where you do simple life things such as breakfast with family,
Then when you finish your first quest of gathering logs from the woods and returning home,

Things change drastically and the game enters the Storm State,
Which is about an evil kingdom releasing creatures and evil poisonous storm to the lands which disrupts everything.
Everything changes in this state, even player's hair color :D .
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Made by me:
All the code. (except cinemachine) (Quest system, leveling up, Stat enhancing and powering up, Day to Night shift unlocking abilities and more,)
Level design and cinematics are designed.
All Player Japanese Sound Effects are recorded.
Player sprite is from AI originally, but edited a lot with Krita and cut in to pieces for rigging.
All Player sprite parts and rigging, IK, geometry, weight brushing etc. and animations made.
Editing of sounds and musics done.
Lighting and Post processing (bloom, vignette) unfortunatelly webgl's build setting was not ultra hd so gamejam version of the game doesn't have these.
Used tools: Unity, Visual Studio, Blender, AudaCity, Krita ...
Not made by me:
Used Assets that have proper licence typeto use, credits for them are in the game description, and also exist as a code in the game files.

Really funny game, but it needs a bunch of polish in all areas. I could not unlock the other weapons at all. Pressing 2 didn't seem to change anything.
Thanks for the feedback,
Pressing 2 works after completing the quest (after killing 50 enemies) You can check quest progress by pressing "L"
A simple game, that has a fine gameplay loop. To improve maybe make some of the interaction icons clearer and for transition between levels / locations you might just want to use a trigger / collision box.
Thanks for the feedback, noted :)
I'll be honest, I actually remember now, I played this once sometime early on, and even with the tutorial in-game, I actually skipped playing it and quit immediately because I couldn't get out of the very first room.
Now, trying it again, I noticed it may be because the "F" tooltip is placed behind the yellow text, barely can be seen so it may be hard to notice without looking very closely. After that the game made sense to me.
I think to improve it, this very first part in the very beginning should be corrected so the key is displayed prominently, and not so close to the yellow text (and definitely not behind it). Ironically, it's displayed well on every other part except the very beginning. This isn't game breaking, so it should only be done after the jam, if at all.
This is a very interesting game, really funny choice to have Goku as the main character.
It might be better to have a Skip button at the very beginning of the game if someone was able to complete the first part entirely (before the storm) at least once.
It might be OK to force them to play it once, but I think after that it may be considered unnecessary padding and should be skippable even after the page is reloaded. Without this, if someone exits the game, they'd have to do the first part all over again. After it was done once it may feel like padding and may make it less likely that someone who wants to replay the storm part, will play the game again if they have to do the first part again too (luckily it's not that long, but even so it may still be the case that they won't want to play the first part again).
Other than that I think your game is interesting and the storm part seems to work pretty well, nice job on it!
Wow, what a great feedback I love it, thank you so much, I took note all of this, I was planning to make a game save system but didn't know how to do, because it is my first webgl game :D (I guess I can't write data to json file I am not sure tbh)
After the jam I will upload new version with the fixes and little overall enhancements. specially save game is a must because there is leveling up system and (There is actually exp data for 105 player levels lol :D)
And, thanks a lot for giving it a shot again, appreciated it.
Try to just use PlayerPrefs, I used it in my WebGL game for this jam for high score, and it should work. I'm still pretty new to this stuff, and it was my first time using PlayerPrefs at all in Unity.
hmm, thanks for the tip. I just used it for volume settings saving :D
game is nice and it was fun to play but for me i think 50 is high number so i couldnt complete :D ( nice btw ) 3ash
I am glad youb liked it. yeah I think 20 would be enough already :D, I actually decreased it from 100 to 50 in last hours lol, Your game was amazing too, great visuals I still remember :D
I love Goku - my childhood and this game also <3
Thank youu <3, I am glad you liked it :D
The movement was fluid. Shooting the fireballs was great too. Nice little story. Those enemies were tough. Nice entry.
Thanks for the feedback, I remember your game was so good too, great graphics :D
The game was really well made. I liked the movement speed, which made traveling fun instead of a slow walk through the map. The game felt huge for a jam, and I didn’t manage to finish it. It was a bit unclear how to use the axe and collect logs at first, and the resolution and scale of some objects could have been better. But overall, great job! The rest was really cool and fun!
Thanks for the feedback <3 , I spent more than 12 hours everyday sometimes 15 :D, still I couldn't get the art right, my bad :D. I should do the tutorial and art better next time.
I am glad you had fun.
Yeah, no worries! I think you should’ve taken more time to rest, but if you had fun, that’s what really matters.
For me I couldn't get out of the first room and I quit the game in less than 30 seconds when I first played it a few days ago. It's ironic because the first room is filled with pretty good short guide on how to play, yet I could not leave this room.
When I gave it another chance now, I found out that it may be because the "F" key tooltip near the exit of the first room is not placed well and is overshadowed by the yellow text which may have been why I was confused, and then when I noticed this on a closer look, I made it out of the first room.
Everything else after that very first room, including this part you had trouble with where you cut the trees with the axe and collect the logs, made sense to me immediately for some reason.
However if you had trouble with the log part, that may be valid and should be paid attention to just in case there's something unintuitive about this part of the game or any other parts.
Really fun game, good job!
Thanks for the comment, I am glad you enjoyed
Very cool art-style.
I originally went to the forest without an axe and couldn't interact with anything or leave. That was confusing.
Aah sorry, I should have designed getting the axe from the ground part better, the axe is in front of the house door when you leave the house, and can be pickable with F.
Really funny, I had a blast playing it!
Thanks for the comment, I am glad you enjoyed.
Very cool game, really had fun while playing it!
You should add a notification when you get a level tho, I was wondering why it takes so long to kill the enemies until I remembered there were points xd
Thanks for the feedback and the suggestion, there is actually both visual effect and a sound effect playing when you level up but maybe it is not noticable enough sorry.(The blackish aura around the player for a small duration,
maybe I should increase the visibility of it, or increase the volume too :D)
I am glad you enjoyed.
Cool game. I didn't expect this, especially the Star Wars turn when you return from cutting trees. I feel the controls aren't the easiest. I'd also like if you kept a short range fighting option, so keeping the axe in hand after going SS4 would be cool to me. Maybe axe is now bloody lol.
Wow, bloody axe, a great idea :D , I actually had the plan of implementing melee fight and shooting ki with cooldowns or with mana restrictions but couldn't do it in time, sorry about that :D
Game is okey, but you can easaily go out of the map and Goku is bigger than other characters. Overall, pretty good game! :D
Thanks, I hope you enjoyed :D
A simple "calm before to storm" game, and I liked it! The concept changes in the storm part was nicely handled (I loved the mission bar in red). I died in 46/50 in the second mission. If there were fewer enemies, I would play again to finish, but it takes so much time to kill 50 enemies without any upgrades.
Overall, a decent game to play. Well done!
Thanks for the feedback. I am really glad you played and enjoyed. I actually dropped it from 100 kills to 50, but 20 would be enough I guess.
Before that, you can level up with exp and increse damage as well (health or defense too if you prefer :D) (press c for character stats)
and when you die and click "more blood", you just teleport to the village center and nothing is lost :D , you can continue the quest :)
I totally missed the upgrade button :(
For the more blood thing, I probably bugged it out because I clicked it two times before the game loads and there were no quest info on the right side.
hmm maybe, I am not sure :D , also you can press "L" to open-close the quest menu
sorry about the inconveniency, I missed to add a limiter bool for pressing more blood button, my bad.
and I had to make a better tutorial, again my bad. I added everything about leveling up few hours before the submission ends :D
nice idea for concept switch. Though art inconsistency is a bit of an issue
Thanks for the feedback, I will try harder next time, I actually tried to fix that with post processing and lightning effects, but webgl build of mine was not set to ultra quality, so lighting and post processes doesn't work :/. I will try to make the art consistent from the beginning next time :D
I liked how whole game concept changed ! Fits the theme perfectly and i liked the music a lot! Well done! ☻
Thank you, I loved the music too :D, it is mostly Dragon Ball anime music but altered a bit.
Interesting concept! i found the fighting and sound effects a bit to repetative. The visuals could have a bit more consistency. keep at it! :)
Thanks for the feedback, I hope you enjoyed. I tried to record more sound fx for the player but, environment was not suitable :D
I will definitely try to work on art consistency more next time.
could be better signalized where to go
bushes around city were not obvious there was no collision
idk how to hit enemies
I thought it wouldn't feel good if I show with an arrow to where to go :D
sorry about the bushes I guess I forgot the the colliders disabled at there
Left mouse button to shoot, if you can find enemies it will be available. In the calm state you can't shoot, you can chop the trees :D
I just checked now, and there were colliders at bushes around the city, where exactly there weren't colliders at bushes do you remember, if the bushes for passing to the forest, I disabled them on purpose to let player pass to the forest :D
I found it, there is no colliders right after the night falls when you are returning to the village, sorry about that, I did some changes in last hours, my bad
thats what feedback is for, so you can make better games
great work buddy!
I hope I will :D, Thanks for the feedback again
I enjoyed it!
I found that goblins on the left respawn very fast so I was spawn-killing them :))
Haha thanks for the feedback I am glad you enjoyed <3
I did the battle scene design in last hours and it is not too good I guess, I will leave more time for the main mechanics next time :D
I love the your story-line game like this, and it is so funny when you make we are "Son Goku". The game is really invested in level design and the system. Good job guys !
Thank you so much for the feedback, yes I sped too much time with details, I had left with so little time for main mechanics :D , I am glad you enjoyed the Goku transition, (I am solo dev btw :) )
