Nice game. I did get a memory exception error half way through first play through.
I like the concept a lot. Very very cool, and the execution was great as well. Only thing I could've wished for was more explanations on things. Felt like a description over the moves you hover over would've been fantastic. Great job!
I really like this. One of the best games I have rated. Only 3 problems I had:
- -The player doesn't turn when moving in directions other than up during the calm phase.
- There was a softlock/crash during the second level after I swapped an insect (blue moth) onto another (grasshopper) and had no other turns but couldn't continue because the enemies didn't go. Audio was still playing.
- There weren't enough actions to take during the second calm phase, resulting in me having done every possible action and not having enough attention to start the fight. I had to resort to moving back and forth repeatedly to farm up like 200 more attention. Either that or I was missing something (I didn't get pick any more fights than I had to for progression, don't know if that contributed).
Other than those issues, this game has potential to be expanded upon after the jam into a full Steam release and become a real game with minimal effort. Fantastic job!
The insect theme is really cool and unique. I feel like it wasn't clear what was going on in the game at times, for example in the second phase I couldn't interact with the other bugs in the second level, but I'm not sure if there's just a 2 bug party limit or something else was going on.
Building up a party of bugs to fight other bugs is pretty cool.
This was a cool one! Unfortunately, It didn't run too smoothly for me, but I still enjoyed the gameplay loop and the combat system. I like the concept and the art direction too,
sadly game crashed in end battle,
loved the explorasion, battle was a little bit too easy with the t attack of the butterfly
but bonus points for butterflies using tornados, as they shoud.
The art looks great, really nice idea, a little far from the theme I expected.
I would have loved if the bugs rotated while flying, it broke the immersion, but the assets and world building is great.
Keep it up!
different style game I wasn't expecting and had a fun time with it. unique idea and experience. very welcome in the jam!
Interesting game, you fly around the jungle and interact with other animals, music and sound fx are all very good,
turn based combat is also well made, well done
Here is my game if anyone wants to try:
Nice game.
I also got an Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds. It was web build. It's a nice turn-based game.
