Interesting concept. It would greatly improve if there was more info on the battle inputs. I encountered a bug where if I press spacebar in combate everyone takes a step ahead and the combat can't be continued. I think this has potential!

Developer

Thanks! We'll check the problem with spacebar.

Hee-ho! really liked the mechanics, liked the idea of gathering resources to help you in the boss battle, nice work!

Hee-ho. Thank you! Hee-ho

Hee-ho! I love the artstyle of the game it's really nice! The concept is fun too of gathering resources and allies for a turn based fight, I quite enjoyed that. The seconds fight was way too hard however, and I would've liked a description for each attack (if there was one I didn't find it). Either way I see a lot of potential with this idea, good job! Hee-ho!

The Art of this Game is beautiful, and the Music does a good job at sounding good and conveying the right atmosphere.

I like the idea of the combat, but about the third fight with 3 big bugs seemed impossible to beat.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Yes, the balance is strange for now, we'll try to fix it after the jam

Good and fun idea but there were a lot of bugs in my game that were not crawling litle animals like getting an error in the 2nd fight and getting stuck between 2 plants. But other than that great game.

Developer

Thank you for playing! Sorry for spoiled experience, we did a bad job with polishing and missed some critical bugs.. We'll fix them after the jam.

The second fight felt too difficult, enemies would kill me in two hits
Nice submission

Developer

Thanks! The balance really need some changes..

i like the art really cool game!

Developer

Thanks!

Very cool art and music, but the gameplay wasn't very clear, would love some descriptions on what abilities and items do. Also, I got an error in the 2nd fight. Other than those 2 things, very nice game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! We'll improve UI and fix the crash after the jam

Good game concept! The artstyle is very nice. I found the overall lack of information a bit confusing but I figured it out. By the way, I got an Index Out Of Bounds error during the second fight when I received a probably mortal hit.

Developer

Thank you! We'll improve UI after the jam. And fix the crash, of course..

Really cool idea here, and the art looks sick. I think you nailed the theme here. Your "calm" phases all of a sudden get very much not calm when you realize you've wasted too much "attention" and now you're about to trigger a fight and you aren't prepared. And the core mechanic of (probably) not being able to do everything on the map before the next fight is really crucial. If you were to continue work on this, what if you took it a step (pun not intended) further, to where the bugs had more distinction than just how much attention they get when moving around: what if some bugs could actually see further?  What if bees could gather resources "for free" while the other bugs still used "attention" to do so? Whatever path you choose, I think there's a really solid base here for something awesome.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing and for the feedback! Your ideas are really interesting, thanks for them. We plan to develop the game further, and we'll surely think about your suggestions. Thanks againg for feedback and for the kind words

Cool bug theme! Unfortunately, I got stuck between stones. Otherwise, well done!

I would also greatly appreciate you rating my game. It's a strategy-action mix with base management and real time combat!

Developer

Thank you! Your game is cool) We've both rated it.

I keep getting "Uncaught RuntimeError: memory access out of bounds" in the web version on the fight of the second level. I thought it was because I was dying, but apparently not.

and in the windows version the same bug happens

Submitted

I guess you could say "your game had some bugs"

Developer

Thank you for playing. Yes, there is a crash in the last battle, we'll fix it after the jam.

Gorgeous art! Took a bit of fiddling to figure out the turn-based combat, and I'm still not sure what each of the abilities does which made it hard to strategize. Also, the activity meter seems to be tied to framerate so the boss comes waaay too early on high refresh rate monitors. Regardless, I really loved this concept and enjoyed collecting a bunch of critters :)

Developer

Thank you! We'll check the problem you've encountered. We plan to add detailed description for skills and statuses, agree that for now it's kind of black box. I'm happy you enjoyed it!

Wasn't especting the turn based combat, really nice integrationg between mechanics. Nicelly done.

Developer

Thank you!

I really enjoyed the unique concept and beautiful art style! The combat system was fun, but it took me a bit to understand how everything worked. Some tooltips or more detailed UI would definitely help with clarity during battles. Overall, it’s a really solid game with lots of potential! Great job on delivering such an engaging experience in a short time!

Developer

Thank you so much! We plan to improve UI after the jam to show all this info.

Really fun game, would definitely benefit from a tutorial, really pretty as well!

Cool game! The web version had a couple bugs in it, but I still found the game to be really cool!

Developer

Thank you!

Such a pretty game, the bugs were all really cool, I found myself just playing more to see all your bugs ;). I found the controls and the fight hard to figure out at first, and would benefit from some text tool tips or similar to let me know what an attack would do so I could plan appropriately, but given the time constraints you have done amazing work with all the art and everything. Well done!

Developer

Thank you so much! We plan to improve UI afetr the jam
