Great take on the theme!!
Got a bit hung up on that towel/cloth looking object for a bit but figured things out once I realized you could go through the doors.
Well done :)

Well, that took a turn. Beautiful art direction on this one, great entry

I'm here because everyone is talking about the twist. Loved the idea and the ending is so cute and sweet! I will suggest all my friends to play it before sleeping. Also a wonderful game for kids!

nice graphics, fitting music, clever twist, although it was pretty obvious there would be SOME kind of twist with the blood/clawmarks everywhere lol. one little thing was that i wasnt really sure what the white cloth thing(towel?) was, so i wandered around looking for a trash can thinking it was trash, but eventually found the laundry bin. also didnt realize that there was more than one room until i completed all the tasks in the first room, maybe try to consider the visual queues a little more for the intended purpose of doors and stuff. really great game, maybe just think about the visual queues a little more. thanks for entering!

Twist was cool. I would have liked the second section to be more involved, i feel like that would contrast with the first nicely. alternatively also think it could be cool if the cleaning in the first section was turned into minigames or something like that, and then the second section were maybe like  inversions of them lol. Definitely a lot of ways you could take this concept if you wanted to develop it further. Art is very nice with a good vibe.

Thanks for playing!

We are happy that you liked the game.

Excellent ideas, thank you for the feedback! <3

I like the story. Like the art style and the general vibe of the game. Of course, well done on the twist.
If I nitpick, I would say that tutorial is not needed. Some way to drop/pile object would be great.
Fullscreen mode. Some postprocessing and 2D lights would be great too.

But overall the game was fun to play and surprising.
Great work.

| was thinking throught most of the game : i love this art this is the perfect thing to play before i go to sleep and then the plot twist happened and i laughed : amazing game.

Developer(+1)

Maybe before going to sleep isn't the best time to play the game... Thank you so much for the feedback!

Very nice game. Overall very nice pacing and the twist at the end is brilliantly executed.

What aspects of the game did I enjoy the most? Really loved the ambience during the calm phase. It felt like such a cozy game and really relaxing. During the tempest I was so pleasantly surprised it put a smile on my face. I did think that the mess around the house was foreshadowing something, but I would not have guessed the twist. Really enjoyed the short sweet experience.

What aspects of the game would I change? Really minor quality of life would have been nice, for example it was difficult to understand what I should do with the loose cloth I picked up from the ground, I could not drop it anywhere after picking up so I had to explore the entire house with that in hand without being able to fix anything else.

Team composer here. Thank you so much for enjoying the music! :)

Sorry I forgot to mention the music and audio design in the comment, it was a major part of the vibes for sure.

I was a bit confused until I found a door, but aside from that it's great!

I really liked the dinner parallel.

Thank you so much!

That plot twist is genuinely crazy, I cannot believe you made me do that :0
That aside, this is really well made, looks great and gets really fun/

I just have a few nitpicks, I would say to increase the walking speed a bit, and some of the graphics were a tad confusing. Particularly the walls and the entrances to doors seemed to clash with the rest of the top down perspective this game has going on. However, I still rank this very highly - Great Job!

What a nice twist! Good art, good concept, good execution. Maybe I would have make the player walk a little bit faster in the first phase, it would have made chores like puting the table a little more pleasing. But that's just me being picky, great game!

Thank you! It's really appreciated!

Really nice game, and bonus point for it being a team of fellow italians! ;)

I think this is one of the few games that actually deliver the feeling of "Calm Before The Storm". Tidying up a cozy setting beforehand, with a relaxing music, to then figure out what the "Dinner" actually is... Good job guys!

Grazie! Glad that you liked it! :D

I was having fun figuring out how to clean the house and then the thing happened (trying not to spoil for others) and I was suddenly having more fun. I love games like this.

I'm so glad that you liked it! Thank you!

LOL!!! The beginning was a bit confusing trying to figure out where to put certain things, but once I sort of got the hang of it it wasn't too bad. Could maybe use a visual indicator to help direct you for that. In any case what a twist. Very cool.

Amazing little game, loved the graphics and settings.

I needed some time to understand where to put the trash, and sometimes i got lost cause i was moving very fast between rooms, but it was not a big problem.

Developer

I'm glad that you liked it! Next time we'll do better games together ;)

Damn didn't expect that I will need to do THAT in the second phase. Amazing twist and overall concept. Also the place right from the dinner table could have more space to walk around.

The one thing that could be also great to implement is that guests had more options to run and hide away from you. For example they could hide inside wardrobes and etc.

Developer(+2)

Thank you so much for the feedback and also for the suggestions!

Loved your implementation of the theme. All of this was very clean and well put together. Solid work!

I really liked the game!

It was nice and cozy at the beginning (even though some details were quite ominous), and together with the twist at the end, it quite embodied the concept of "the calm before the storm".

My only criticism is that when you pick up the rugs from the floor it is not so obvious what you should do with them.

Thank you ! <3
