How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is based on a tower defense concept, the theme 'Calm Before the Storm' is reflected in the gameplay. At the start, there is a brief period of calm where the environment is peaceful, giving the player time to prepare. However, after this short calm, a massive wave of enemies begins to attack, bringing chaos and intensity. This sharp contrast between the calm preparation phase and the storm of enemy assaults directly ties the game’s mechanics to the theme.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
With a team of eight, including three programmers and five graphics team members, we created all the code and assets from scratch. The only exception is the music and sound effects, which were sourced from a royalty-free website called Pixabay.

Nice job on the game!

I think to improve it then enemy units should be a bit bigger, maybe the towers too, actually I wonder if the whole thing should be zoomed in a bit.

Also think there should be a speed adjustment feature to make the wave faster or slower on-demand.

Absolutely superb! The gameplay is engaging and the design is top-tier.

Wow, thank you so much! 😊 I'm really glad you enjoyed the gameplay and design! It means a lot to hear that—it keeps us motivated to keep improving. Thanks again for playing and for the kind words!

Cool game! I wished there were more waves as right now the game is too easy but I guess for a jam submission it works. Keep it up!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! 😊 I totally agree, more waves would definitely add a fun challenge! I’ll keep that in mind for future updates. For the jam, I wanted to keep it simple, but I’m glad it still works! Thanks again for playing and the feedback—it really helps!

This reminds me of playing Bloons on CoolMathGames. It was very nostalgic, I wish there were more levels I didn't get to see my 50 gold tower fire :(. Loved the art too, great work to the team!

Thank you so much! 😊 It’s awesome to hear it brought back memories of playing Bloons on CoolMathGames—that’s such a classic! I’m sorry you didn’t get to see the 50 gold tower in action, but I’m definitely taking notes for future updates with more levels. 😄 I’ll pass the compliment to the team about the art too—they’ll love hearing that! Thanks again for playing and sharing your thoughts!

It has old school flash game vibes i wish it had move waves of enemies to fight but over all nice little game!

Brings me back to the old-school flash era of TD games! I'd definitely love to see more positions to place towers and better balancing between the differently priced towers (the expensive ones just dont feel worth their money at the moment)! It might be really helpful taking reference from your favourite tower defense games out there to see how to better pace each wave, some small adjustments can really make this game much more enjoyable!

Overall, great start! :D

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback! 😊 I'm really happy the game gave you those old-school flash TD vibes! I totally agree—more tower positions and better balancing are great suggestions. I’ll definitely take some inspiration from my favorite TD games to improve pacing and make those expensive towers feel more rewarding. Your input is super helpful, and I’ll work on those small adjustments to make the game even more enjoyable. Thanks again for playing and for the great advice! 😄

Thanks a lot! 😊 I love that it gave you those flash game vibes—that’s exactly what I was going for!

I like the overall vibes, It's a good starting point. the 50 gold tower did not feel worth it compared to the others but aside of that it was fun

Thank you for playing the game :)

This takes me back to the good old flash games. I felt 10 again. I always play Tower Defenders too. This looks great. It's not that much of a challenge to win, but that could be tweaked really quickly I think. This is a great game :)
Edit: If you continue this, I would add  more infos about the towers, right in game. I have awful memory and did not remember what each tower did :D

Honestly, this is a very solid tower defense game for a week of dev work! I liked the variation in the towers too!

Nice work! Love a tower defense game. I really like the monk tower and how it pushed enemies back. From a game design standpoint is there a reason you went for pre-determined placements vs. allowing the player to place the towers anywhere? Great game, especially for such a short time period.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing the game :). We  went for pre-determined placements because of the time limit, it was faster to do it that way to achieve the similar result like allowing the player to place the towers anywhere

Submitted(+1)

Gotcha, thanks for the response!

Submitted(+2)

Game was good. I could select multiple tower spawn locations. It should only let me select one at a time. The animations for the enemies dying was good.

Thank you for playing the game :)

This was fun. It was cool seeing what the different towers did and saving up for the expensive one on the last wave. It'd be nice if there were upgrades for the towers, but I get not having it for a 1 week jam. Great job on this I had fun playing thru it!

Thank you so much
