How does your game fit the theme?
It is about a boy named maxi and he dies(the end) but he lives on doing the things he loves as a ghost(new beginning)

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and drew all the art
The music however was made by a man named Eric Skiff (I have credited him in the description of my game)

Fun to play, loved the story. Graphics and music are perfect, only issue (seems to be happening to everyone) I grapple on pins that are really far off screen sometimes, but otherwise, top tier game for sure.

Cool game, I loved the art and the sound effects, I think that some indication on which pin you will grapple to is needed, sometimes I pressed the button and the player was flying down to some pin that I grappled to also if there was some softer punishment for falling like some platforms every 100 progress points or something that would keep you from restarting and also give to players some extra reward to achieve a higher score, I had really fun time playing, good job!

Very fun to play, music is awesome, art is pretty, overall can't find problems, aside from maybe pins that you need to shoot your rope at are sometimes hard to see

Developer

Thank you very much i really appreciate feedback

Nice uniqueness to other games. Fun to play something different :).

Wish the pins were a bit bigger and easier to see, other then that I can see this being a fun game to continue working on after the Jam, be interested to see where you take it.

Amazing stuff! It is very fun to swing on the pins and I quite like it! Visuals are also great.

Really neat concept, I like the bouncing around and falling to reset, reminds me a lot of Getting Over it With Bennett Foddy. The art is also great, cool little snippets here and there. The only thing that could get worked on is the detection of pin clicking, half the time I clicked near one it caught the other half it didn't so I didn't really feel in control. Otherwise great work! Keep it up!

A lot of people have compared it to getting over it lol

good idea

Great art, story, and mechanics. Good stuff.

Loved this one! Reminds me of some of the old coolmathgames stuff. The swinging mechanic was quite enjoyable, and the music wasn't too repetitive. I did have a bug which was a little game breaking where when I would click would randomly grapple on some point far away and fling me across the map, and also the quit button one the main menu didn't work. Otherwise, fantastic job!

Very nice game, easy and fast to play! I like the story behind it. Very good and polished game overall, and some nice art!

Amazing game. It is very polished, looks astonishing and has very good music. It has some bugs with movement but overall very enjoyable and fun.

PS If you have plans for continuing development on this game, I think different difficulty levels would be cool with smaller grapling points and maybe some collectables.

Liked the simple controls. Reminded me of getting over it or Jump king - but way easier :D

Hitting the hook just perfect could realy generate a lot of momentum which was super fun.

Developer

Lol I’ve been told that alot

Nice game, I could not see the pins that well, maybe brighter colors would help.

Submitted

Nice game! It’s really hard to see the pins that I could grapple on, but other than that I really enjoyed the game!

Developer

Thanks bro!

Really nice graphics and audio, but the gameplay needs more polishing, sometimes I would just launch myself upwards at like 1000 mph, you can keep on spamming space to summon the things you hang on which is a kinda cheap way to win, overall nice idea and great work!

Love the game!! Don't know whether it is intended or not, but sometimes I can grab pins way out of my reach and got bounce really far. Amazing idea, very fun once I get the hang of it. The art style is also unique, amazing work!! feel like a complete game instead of a game jam game.

Developer

Yes i am aware of that and i will fix it after the jam lol

Nice game! Interesting concept and cool art! Probably a minor thing, but I wished more of the objects fell down like the "well done" note or had some animation when you jump over them (like swinging side to side or something similar) which would make the whole board feel more alive. And the pins are way too small in all this color, I know it makes the game easier if you increase the size, but just a tad bigger would work better imo. Great job nonetheless!

Developer(+1)

I will get doing that after the jam has finished because i ran out of time when i released the game

I liked the art style.  Wasn't super sure what to do at first.  Cool idea and execution!
