One of the prettiest game in the jam! I'm happy to see that we both have a similar settings. Thought we'd get some point for originality but nope.
Jokes aside, the game is cool, the game's palette makes everything really visible, it's not too hard nor easy, the tank is a bit of a pain to dodge though if had to criticize something about it.
Also I don't really see your interpretation of the theme ? Aside from the limited color palette. Gameplay wise it plays and feels like a regular shmup... a good one but still.
Anyhow, good work nonetheless!

I like the single powerup selection at the start, spritework and music are also very good, and there’s some nice enemy variety for a jam game as well.

Especially enjoyed how the Robot Bosses looked :)

Super high quality game. I love the graphics and sound, gives off a very retro 8-bit game. The only problem I have is you can't move back and to the left for some reason. Otherwise I have no complaints. Great job : )

Very beautiful game art and fun to play. Would have liked some kind of fast movement or dash option as sometimes i’d feel like i got boxed in and just had to tank a hit but the generous continues made it not too big of a problem.

Super pretty art for this one! Reminded me of a game called Raiden X, which I haven't played in AGES and was a cool throwback. The music fit the theme super well. Difficulty felt just right :)

I love the color pallet, it's so calm and beautiful. I like you made a shmup, I really like shmup games, nice job. Maybe after the game jam, you can add any power-ups, bombs, or other shoot types to the game.

This game was a lot of fun to check out and play. I love the entire aesthetic of it.

Wow, stunningly gorgeous and such a polished experience! The muted pastel color palette, interesting background art, variety of enemy designs, and unique bullet patterns make this an absolute joy to play!

Nice and laid-back shoot em up. All the shot types are fun. I managed to no death clear the game with all 3 as its quite easy but I like how you incorporated various enemies into the backgrounds.

Really dig the game’s presentation, would be nice to see an expanded game with this visual style.

My main critique is that the stages are quite slow-paced and there aren’t any real mechanics to dive deeper into the game with (scoring systems, player mechanics, etc).

However what the stages themselves lack the bosses make up for with interesting patterns, though they do die a bit too quickly to really appreciate them.

Great, stylised and polished visuals, sound and gameplay. I'm on a QWERTY keyboard so the controls felt a little wierd but apart from that a great concept executed well.
