Not sure why but the mouse look isn't working for me. I can walk around but the camera isn't moving. running windows 11. EDIT - Unplugging my unused gamepad fixed this.
Creepy vibes! This game looks amazing, controls and plays well. Nice job!
Do you have a controller plugged in? Can you also try alt-tab and then get back in the game? Seems to be a weird bug with unity new input system :S
Unplugging my gamepad worked!
Fun game, really liked the visuals! Quick instructions would have been helpful, but overall great game in this jam! Love the duck!
Thanks! A tutorial was planned but… time.. :S.. I have some Q&A + instructions on game description but it doesn’t display on the game jam page for some reason…

Great job! The gameplay and stylization are excellent.Reminds me of the good old games HPS1 jam / PS1. Caught a little in the basement :) Scared.
There is a small comment about the rendering of objects in the hand, clipping into the walls, but not critical (we usually output to another layer)
Played several times, was satisfied.
Thanks for the feedback :D! I completelly forgot to fix that bug :S
Sheesh this is incredible! I think I may have run into a bug on first playthrough I ran into a bug. I wasn't in the basement when the lights went out and I couldn't do anything. The second play through went smoothly. I didn't understand what to do once I grabbed the package from the basement though. Overall, this is super impressive and I hope it turns into a fully fleshed out game!
Thanks for playing and the feedback <3, when the lights go out, you need to restart the generator at the room you start in, but i did a bad job at conveing that :S
Wow, soo love the look. I had a bit of a hard time understanding what was happening and what I had to do and how to interact with the the world so even tho the mysteriousness is great at creating this creepy sketchy ambiance maybe a bit of an explanation would be good just to get things started.
Otherwise I don't really have much to say, it's hands down one of the most interesting games of this jam. I'm baffled that you were able to craft this whole thing in a month.
Thanks for the feedback! Sadly i didn’t have time to finish the tutorial :( and decided to focus more on the gameplay
Fair enough! I had a similar problem in my game in which I had to decide just to focus on the first part of the ship, this made my game very short, but thw orher way around I wouldn't have time to include all the little details I wanted and it would've felt bland I think.
One question I had when I was playing your game was if the pixelated look was from the models themselves or a shader/camera effect?
It’s both, the models and textures are all verrryyy low size (256x256) and with filtering off. Then the camera shader also adds some extra effects, i used https://assetstore.unity.com/packages/vfx/shaders/psxeffects-132368
Very interesting, thanks for answering!
Thanks for playing <3
Really really good game, the ambiance is very frightening! Great job :D
just 2 little things to add :
for some reason, when i finished client 8 quest, nothing happened. I was hoping for something to end the game x) maybe a bug?
when lights go off and generally when going in the basement, everything is so dark i just couldn't do anything, so i purposely didn't take the correct packages for clients. I guess this isn't wanted, but it worked in a way ^^' Maybe having a tiny bit more light? on specific spots for instance (also had hard time finding the camera, so putting a light there would help)
Anyway globally a very impressive experience, 5/5 ggs
(and +1 for the goose)
Thanks for the feedback! <3 On the basement, you have a very faint light, but if the lights go out it can be harder to see things, i guess that’s what happened to you, also did you deliver the magazine? It only says one item was recieved :o
oh shit i forgot the magazine x) going into the basement takes so much time compared to all other tasks i completely forgot about it
Once I figured out the controls it was a fantastic game. I was happy just fufilling diffrent orders from the customers but then I had to go to the basement. The atmosphere of the game was really well done. The basement added a new element to the game and I found myself dreading the basement. The camera mechanic was an interesting touch I didnt expect , theres something about navigating the dark with nothing but a camera thats extra spooky. I very much enjoyed the game :)
Thank you so much <3, i wanted to expand a bit on the camera mechanic but didn’t have time to implement all the… “fun” spooky.. stuff xD
Really could use a tutorial I have no idea how the basement works. Good everything else though.
Thanks for playing! I had plans for a tutorial, but sadly ran out of time :(
Damn, that was tense, really creepy atmosphere. Looks really polished for a game jam, so many little details and everything works as it should. Congrats!
(P.S. HONK!)
HONK!! Thanks :D!
This is awesome.. Very cool game design! You were able to create the right horror atmosphere.
P.S. (Next time, try to insert rules and hints into the game, I think it will be better this way)
Thanks! I had plans for a tutorial, but didn’t have time :S
Hey!
Nice game overall. I loved the art style and the game plays really smooth. I should have known i m gonna get jump scared when heading in the basement but you still got me :P
Nice stuff.
Thanks for playing <3
Well done!
Thanks! :D
Super spooky.
Thanks 👻, did your rogue manage to snag the monster into the backpack?
Yes.
1st time I played the power went out and I think I was just stuck. I couldn't seem to turn it back on, I couldn't go anywhere or do anything.
2nd time, I was able to get to the basement to find a delivery. Eek!
Yea, sorry about that, I should have added a condition to check if you at least did a x number of customers before turning power off xD. You need to go to the generator and hold the lever down
Working through the first client's request.
Lights go out.
Hmm, that's kind of creepy. If this was a scary game I would be very worried.
Turn back on lights.
(later)
I scream.
Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope, I can't handle it. Well done, you achieved what you were going for. Great game, gave me the big frighten.
Update: Came back with a group of friends and we had one of them stream the game on discord while the rest of us watched. Still super tense and terrifying but it was super fun to play through as a group. You got something real special going on here!
Thanks xD, even I got jumpscared while developing it, was really afraid of testing the basement
Update 2: We played it again. :) We found the goose. Now we "goose it" before going into the basement for good luck.
I was frightened by the sudden blackout no matter where my character at, especially at the time when the storage door is still opened. Sadly that I can't really stay playing on this one so I didn't get to the halfway. Nice game though!
Thanks for playing <3, even if it was only halfway trough, hope you had fun!
Wonderful graphics and sfx.
No me gusta le basement.. very spooky ha.
Great job!
Thanks :D, who likes basements anyways xD
I loved the graphics + aesthetic!
Please don't turn off the lights until after I've completed an order though LOL. On my first run, I was trying to get my bearings and was completely lost so I had to restart haha.
Very nice work!
Thanks! Sorry about that, should have added a check on how many customers you had xD before pulling that
Love the retro look of the game. The graphics are well put together and overall it's pretty spooky. Great job!
Thank you :D, I really love the aesthetics of ps1 games, and it helped since my models are very… square-ish xD
