Quite an interesting game! There's a Nintendo Switch style to it and clever idea!

Finally, I can play a game with a banana xD

Submitted

Neat concept for a game, super funny and creative premise! I had fun!

Gave me a good laugh, but quickly became a memorization game

Humorous and quirky! Like some others, I was unsure of what the units on the tape were until I read some of the comments. I got a few right after some trial and error! Maybe it might be interesting to play with the idea of scoring the player on how close they got to the correct answer (more points the more precise), rather than just a correct/incorrect result. This would give more wiggle room for the player to play through the game, while keeping the quirkiness. Just a thought though.

Great job on the game!

Really weird but very fun! I reached out to Giza pyramid and then I lose. The only thing I have to complain is the fact that there isn't a button to restart the game.

silly fun, I wonder what the units on the tape are and assume they are banana units or bu. I got the paper correctly first try and then lost against each other object. Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yes, the tape units shows "bananas", and it's used as your answer
For example: A cucumber can be 1.6 times the size of a banana (First levels have a bigger threshold and there are multiple answers)
Appreciate the feedback!

Very clever idea :) It could be a little more clear the comparison system, but otherwise nice job on that!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!
Yes, we messed up a little explaining the objetive and being so harsh with wrongs questions

Submitted(+1)

Very clever take on this, and pretty funny. I'd add in a little more clarification on how we are comparing the items to the bananas but otherwise a very polished game. Well done!

Submitted(+1)

Really really cool idea!

However, I don't really understand how the comparison works. Maybe there could be a title like "How much bigger is a [cucumber]?" or something like that. Because sadly, I've lost every single estimation :(

Now the positive:

+ very very unique and innovative
+ very polished (transitions, music, etc
+ I love the measurement UI (I just love little things like that :) )

=> 4*, but I would absolutely give 5* if the game taught me what I "really" need to compare :)

Developer

We are sorry that we didn't explain our game properly, but we are grateful for your feedback! Lesson learned
Thanks for playing and stand out the positive aspects of our game :D Your words made us very happy n.n

Good luck!

I can really appreciate the game style, very polished and nostalgic. Also the concept is funny and innovative. Well done! As for feedback, I would have enjoyed it more if the game was a bit more transparent, for example highlight which side of the object were are comparing to (or always make it compared to the longest side of the object). Also I would have liked to see the answer, and how far off I can be. That said, I dont mean to be too critical, you did really well!!

Developer

Thanks for playing and your feedback!
Yes, the game should be more transparent as you say, lesson learned n.n

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah, the game is tough, sorry about that u.u
We did best we could do in the visual side :D

Cool idea! I wish there weren't just a hard end when you're wrong, but I did learn a lot about different items relative length in terms of bananas :)

Super funny game idea. Implemented very well in terms of graphics and gameplay. Would like it if it doesn’t immediately result in a game over, but continues even if the answer is not correct.

I loved the concept of the game, the pixel art and the sound effects/track. I just still don't understand the size of things in the game, because on the page it says that the banana is around 6.7 inches, and in the game the ruler goes up to 5.2, but the cucumber seems to be bigger than the banana, I have no idea what size to place.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback!
The game ruler shows how many bananas bigger is the item you are comparing to
Fore example: Banana vs Cucumber, how many bananas bigger is the cucumber? That's what you need to guess
This way the game is "measurement friendly" across different countries

Should clarify better in the game descripcion, sorry if we cause you some trouble playing our game

What an awesome idea, nice work! The art style was perfect, though a little hard to read the scale text. It is definitely difficult haha

This is our miro page from 1 month earlier. I am glad somebody did the game.

It was not clear what the game was asking btw. Was it difference  in cm? inc?

I get it later that it was just how many bananas it is. Also giving a over/under statement for wrongs answers would be very very good.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing the game!
Yeah, the game is asking for bananas (so the game is easily playable no matter the measurement system you use)
But I was hesitating to add a label specifying it (for clean visuals reasons), I should put that info on the game page

Sure!, over/under statement in wrongs answers is a neat idea! Honestly, we didn't think about that xD Thanks for the feedback
I hope you enjoyed the game in spite of it being challenging

Ahaahh, very funny interpretation of theme! But if there are bananas at home, then there is an opportunity to cheat ^)

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Glad you liked the game n.n

Really funny game. I will never forget how many bananas long a broom is now.

  • Game is simple but well executed.
  • Art style was consistent.
  • Music was simple but fit the style of the game.
  • Really creative concept, hope you’ll keep working on it and add more objects!
  • Theme interpretation was the most obvious one taken down a 17cm-long curved yellow path, well done!
Developer

I'm really glad you enjoyed our game! Your words fill us with gratitude <3
Currently there are 2-3 random items in each level, we tried to reach 5 per level but it wasn't so easy as we expected :c

Very unique idea, good job!
