Good fun game, controls took a bit of getting used to, but all together really good work
Thank you for the feedback, it means the world.

Nice game, control work perfectly. Did need some getting used to. You only got an issue with the ui/menu's these don't seem to work properly when not in fullscreen mode
Solid game! I haven't used tank controls in a while and you got some smooth tank controls going on. The game is 100% what the game says it is. I can feel some Doom inspiration here, aesthetics definately get a 5 from me! great work!
Thanks Lewis!
Doom and Tormentor X Punisher were my inspirations! I am a simple man. I does what I says. Thanks for your feedback!
Nice game! I really liked the aesthetics. As mentioned by some of the other comments, the tank movement was very smooth and easy to use.
Until I read the instructions I didn't realize I had to pickup bullets and I was wondering why the tank can't shoot lol.
Some feedback below:
1. The Giblets need some sort of effect (such as spinning, particles, etc) to make them stand out from the level. It was hard to distinguish these from other elements.
2. It was hard to distinguish which UI elements were interactable and which ones were just text, other than the obvious ones such as Restart, Quit, etc.
3. If you're not in full screen mode, the score text is placed over the Restart and Quit buttons and I'm unable to click on them.
If you do continue developing this game, a cool idea to implement would be a roguelike dungeon crawler where you have entrances on each side of the room which takes you to new areas with new enemies to fight.
Huge congrats on your submission and I hope my feedback helps!!

I wanted to make them pop a little more but ran out of time or have them bounce around. Yeah I need to work on my UI design work to help draw attention to the elements that matter more. I was fighting scaling issues hence why it has to be played in Full Screen. A roguelike dungeon would be an awesome idea, thank you for the feedback I intend to work on it more and make it a more complete game.
Oh yeah that's totally fair. I had scaling issues as well! I'm not sure if its a bug on Itch.io but whenever I tried uploading my project to 1920x1080 it made everything too big, so I had to scale everything down to 1280x720 but even then some things weren't perfect (example the full screen button is cut off).
Yea no worries!
The game play was a lot of fun. I like the sprite art, it looked great. The tank was nice and responsive and it was easy to get the hang of right away. I think the sound effects need to be taken up a notch to make it more beefy sounding, would have added a lot. You may think about changing the color of the health bar to make it stand out a bit from the background. It would be nice to have some sort of an ammo indicator to let you know when you can fire a cannon shot, or when you were almost empty. Great Job.
Thanks. I agree with all these points. It's a fuel gauge, I think next time I'll for something a little more obvious. The shot indicator is a great idea as well. I didn't want to blast people away but I agree about the sounds as well. Thank you for your feedback.
First of all - great music! It really sets the mood and enthusiasm for a play !
The mechanics also good and intersting - i've only met some trables when stuck into the wall - little time to turn arround, and when you found yourself in this situation you are probably dead :D Also it takes many bullets to kill an enemy, but maybe it is required by game balance.
Overal the game is great: )
Thank you so much for playing. There's a speed boost option you can use (Left Shift) at the cost of fuel. I'm gonna add a control map as people tend to skip the description (I'm guilty of this too!) at the bottom. Hahaha.
Great idea on the blood fueling the tank. Nice controls and super fun to crush all those pesky demons. Wouldn't have known to roll over the enemies to collect fuel for the guns if I hadn't read your page. Might be worth putting a tip near the start of the game.
Once you get going, the carnage is addicting!
Addicting was exactly what I was going for! I do wish I made the tutorial slightly longer and added a control map as people tend to skip the descriptions. Thank you for the feedback.
HELL IS FUEL | BLOOD IS FULL I… think that’s how it goes, right?
I love the simple loop and tight gameplay, which isn’t exactly what first comes to mind when you’re in a tank. I think with a few more enemy types and small tweaks you’d basically have a feature-complete title on your hands. These fully self-contained gamejams are always a treat. :)
Awesome work!
Exactly lol. Thank you for the kind words and the suggestions.
I love the vibe of the game, and nice graphics too! Also, the music matches the game nicely.
The effects when killing the enemies were indeed really nice :D
Thank you for the kind words.
Could not shoot for some reason... nice spawn manger though
The gore from enemies powers your weapons. Crush the imps to get fuel to power your guns and speed boost!
I loved the effects on enemy being crushed, very satisfying. I was a bit confused about the gore charging up the gun, but the developer explained it charges with kills. I think just a small tutorial in game would help (or just text explaining) for those like me who didn't read page description!
Great job!
Excellent idea, I did a one-time tutorial but it's easy to miss if you aren't paying attention. Controls on screen would help. Thank for the comment.
I had a lot of playing this, and love the aesthetic. I could probably get a better score on controller :-) The only real note I have would be more sound effects like demons popping or something.
Thanks for the feedback I agree. Screams would've been a nice touch!
Love me some tanks. I wish the tank moved a little faster.
All in all, great job, great game.
I probably should put it in the tutorial as it often gets missed but there's a speed boost (Left Shift) that uses fuel. So you can zip around to collect those giblets.
That makes the game so much better!!
Great VFX. Good music. Enjoyed playing.
Thank you.
Really enjoyed the blood effects and enemy debris, adds to the whole GORE TANK experience. The gameplay loop is very smooth and the art design is very nice. The only other thing I would improve is the player starting with some ammo and getting more ammo for kills. Overall, I enjoyed the GORE the most, very well done!
Very enjoyable! I seem to die very easily, it would be cool if the gore meter was also your health but overall I like this one a lot.
Hey, very nice game : )
was very funny to play. I like the Game mechanics and the Art.
I get a Runtime error when I die :
Thank you for the nice comment!
I'll get right on this bug.
Cool concept. I like the idea of running over the little guys to get more ammo but, I wish I could've had some ammo in the beginning to shoot. I was confused the first few times I had to restart. But once I got the hang of it, I got better. Also, not sure how it happened but there was this weird bug where the audio started glitching and I couldn't interact with the menu anymore.
Thanks for play. I'll check that bug out I had a few more hotfixes to apply. Started sort've late (Wednesday hahaha) I'll be updating it with bugfixes for the next few days! I'll check out your game now.
