Great concept. Wish i could see my health tho
The "characters" indicator on the bottom right is your health. The game is a bit unclear about that though so I'll make it more explicit.
I am a slow typer so it was a rough ride for me, but I did enjoy my time playing. It felt nice and smooth and wasn't too difficult to figure out what was going on. I had a good time.
Really fun game!! I love the attention to detail with the motion blur and the animations for the insertion line... Sadly I died at the "something something, Son of Gunna" phrase. It would be nice if there is realistic typing and excel sound effect. Overall, cool game. Super unique and original!! I think it'll be cool to be made into multiplayer for people to compete in the future.
pretty good concept, it's pretty frantic. Since it's a spreadsheet game, I kept trying to use tab and alt-tab to go to the next and previous columns, maybe you should consider allowing those keys as controls for us Excel people. Other than that, a volume control for the music might be nice. Overall great game though

This concept is genius :O It's so simple but so fun.
I really enjoyed playing that for a typing game! My only wish was that I could move around somehow without having to use the arrow keys and mess up my wpm!! XD
Hi, I've now added (shift+)tab/enter for moving. The jam version is still available for download.
Great concept, good execution. Stands out from the crowd for sure. I wish I could move around the sheet with something other than the arrow keys so I don't have to move my hands from the home row too much. Typing too fast also feels like it doesn't register sometimes. But those are small critiques for a game made for a jam, well done!
Great idea for a game. You could really expand on this it has great potential. Add healables and more levels and this could turn into a full game. Keep it up!
Cool idea. I'm actually not a fan of such games, because I'm really bad at accurate typing under time pressure xD I love the music, that pushes me to keep trying. A nice game, good work. I had fun with it:)
This is something else for sure, reminds me a lot of games like Typing of the Dead.
I kept dying to Gunnar Gunnarsssonsoonsnoon and the unprnouncable dude which makes a lot of sense.
There were a couple of instances where I would have sworn that I typed correctly but a keypress was not recognized. Not certain if that's on my end or something in the game.
Either way, I had a blast with this and will hope to never encounter a Gunnar again!, Great job !
Personally, this is my favorite game of all the ones I've played so far. It is very very fun and addicting. I got up to sheet twelve when some BOB, THE SCREAMER took me out. Very very fun.

Wow, this was more engaging than I expected. The music is effective at making it all feel very exciting, and something about how far zoomed in you are on the grid as you type makes it feel tense. I bet you could zoom in slowly while typing and ramp up the tension even more, haha.

Really cool concept, I it's something I never seen before. I could not get past the first combat though... I tried typing the cell contet but could not fill the cell on time, I was experiencing delays between keystrokes and the game was not registering every input.
