Nice graphics! I included it in my GMTK Game Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to take a look. :)
Very pretty game, had a lot of fun playing it! I like that the rules of the tower keep changing, and it fits well to the theme of the jam. Very polished, great job!
I like the gameplay and how chaotic it gets the more you play as more and more things get added into the mix, the fake keys are evil, the moving doors are even more evil, I like how u turned the environment into the mechanic instead of the player :P The more situations and polish you add the better the game will be :)
This game is very cool! i like the concept of the tower and how it gets more and more out of control , with a bit of polishing it will became Amazing! rated! please check out my game too :D
For me, it's a little messy and things are hard to distinguish.
But it's frightening and fun. Well done :)
a really cool idea! i for some reason did not understand that the lava was lava but that is about my only point of criticsim. the game is incredibly pretty, easy to understand and challenging to play. Well done!
Everyone's gangsta 'till the door starts walking on lava.
Cool game.
i had a lot of lags and it was quiet annoying.
Please don't allow doors to walk on lava
Cool game. Felt super polished and well put together, and the mechanics were a lot of fun. Agree with the other commenters that the different color tiles were confusing before they had any rules associated with them. Same with the timer on the player, as it kept spinning down at the start with no evident effect.
Great work!
Really fun game! I really enjoy how everyone who plays this has a different experience, but the same amount of fun. Good work on this! Keep it up!
What a lovely game. This game is just polished as hell. Loved how every session was also randomized. Some effects were more clear what they did than others, but overall great work!
Plays really well and is very polished for a jam game
Nice game, maybe a few balancing issues when the rule "lurking in the dark" is working. My suggestion is when this rule is starting let the player see a bit more of the room.
This game is so juicy i loved it ! Didn't make it to the end but I really enjoyed it !
Oooooh, that's cool, you had the same idea as me but with a completely different approach, good job !
Well done! I'm surprised to have encountered no bugs with that many rules and interacting stuff. There may be a few balancing issues, but the fun is there nonetheless.
There is definitely a few of them, but I plan to fix those post-jam! Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!
Very original and interesting idea with good implementation, i think you need made from this a full game
Nice job! The knights were really good and I loved the interesting switching up mechanics. Well done! ;D
I love this idea of new rules staking on each other, it really makes things challenging. Im personally just not a fan of the not all keys can be trusted and keys are rude now combination, because sometimes you think a key is just being rude and then you get killed, it makes things quite confusing. Also the tiles take a while to actual become useful, so maybe just dont have tiles be in the game until a rule involving them comes up, because I was confused for a while about what they were there for and tried a bunch of crap with them.
Thank you for the feedback! yeah we've seen a lot of confusion with the ground plates at the start so that's a good suggestion. We'll tackle that in a post-jam patch.
interesting mechanic, fun and challenging gameplay, a really good entry
Nice job on your game! I liked the ever growing/shifting list of random rules, it reminded me of one of my favorite card games, Mao. Really made me have to remember what everything did. The separate enemy and player movement was interesting as well.
