This was such a cool concept! It would be nice to see an updated version with a little more strategy (and a little less randomness) - but this is one of the most unique submissions I've played so far. Fantastic job!

How does your game fit the theme?
You play a commander slowly loosing control of their company, your soldiers sleep when they shouldn't, flee from duties and break the law. As you try to achieve your assigned objectives things go wrong, people die and demands from your overseer never cease...

A very challenging management game with great presentation. Really enjoyed this one.
Great game... pretty hard to manage everyone but I really enjoyed it! I guess I'm too soft and didn't send enough people to jail!
I love management games. Enjoyed Papers Please. This reminds me of it. Really nice work :)
Wow, I really like this. It's simple but effective, and I love the art.
As boring it may seem for someone watching, it is just as fun playing it.
From an outside perspective all you are doing is assigning different stuff to every solider everyday; while you are making meaningful choices, and taking risks, and are trying to dig a tunnel.
Wow, this is really well done. Love the aesthetic of it, but I do wish there was a way to switch the action on a character once chosen, as I did end up choosing the wrong one a couple of times.

Very atmospheric, I can see this going in a lovecraftian direction if you fully develop it
Has really good art and is a fun chance-based strategy game that executes the theme of the jam well. Great work!
If you have time I'd love for you to check out my game!
Really cool game. I like how polish it looks. It sounds like a nice concept to develop upon ! A bit slow paced maybe for a Jam where people won't spend a lot of time on it but I hope people will take the time.
Your game is really cool and atmospheric, I like the Papers Please style with super crisp art. You should keep working on it! Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new things. Please check out my game when you have time :D
Lovely little game with lots of scope to grow. The feedback on what I had failed to do could have been clearer. I got repeatedly told off, but I wasn't sure if it was because I hadn't built a tunnel or hadn't punished the men.
Further development suggestions: Add in flavour text, like backgrounds for the soldiers and reasons for them getting drunk/frightened (the first time I played I had two guys with the same surname get drunk together - were they brothers celebrating a birthday or just drinking to get through the pain of the war?). Fix the raindrops, they really looked too much like bugs crawling over the desk.
Hi nicholasojones! Thanks for taking the time to play my game the feed back is appreciated.
I do believe I should have been a little more transparent with the systems and a little clearer as well so players aren't confused why they got a strike.
I terms of flavor text, I plan to add this. You may notice they have a hometown section on their file, but I just didn't have time to include it.
and yes the raindrops! I too think they look kinda janky, that's because they were included 30 mins before the jam deadline after I added the rain background noise. I will improve!
Loved the game! Very atmospheric. "Papers, please!" feel is strong — my game was also partially inspired by it!
Love games like these! the only thing missing is an undo button. Overall excelent job
