Fantastic presentation, and a great connection to the theme. I enjoyed the puzzles, my only criticism is that I would have liked checkpoints rather than a restart.

I really like how polished this game is! Super fun and pretty :). The hearts mechanic is unforgiving but I feel like that was intentional, and that I am at fault for being bad at video games.

Very cool game and well polished! You nailed the presentation.

As a suggestion, some of the collision rects feel a bit aggressive to me, or maybe it's the player is slightly large. I'm not certain, but the collisions sometimes feel just a pixel or so off from what I'd expect.

It's also frustrating to have to start from the beginning when you run out of hearts. A checkpoint system, or even just leaving the level as-is and going back to the beginning would be a nice feature when dying so you don't have to repeat areas.

Overall, though, it's an excellently made game. Well done!

What a great looking game! Mechanics and overall feel could use polishing. Excellent music, too.

I had some trouble with the controls but aside from that, this is a really creative idea, nice work!

Love the art style. Cool idea possessing creatures.

This is a wonderful game! Some of the controls weren't very intuitive and it got a little confusing/frustrating from time to time, and I ran into a couple bugs here and there, but for the most part it felt very polished and fun to play! Great work!

I like the idea and the style!. This feels so nostalgic and yet not old at all :) I died a lot at the begining.

You used mario odyssey mechanic very cleverly. I love that. And also art and music is amazing.

Lovely looking game, really cool how you captured that retro game boy aesthetic in every part of the game <3. Quite like the mechanic of sacrificing a life to temporarily take control of a turtle :P .

Hint: don't hug the turtles. Great job on the art, Julia!

This game looks amazing! Love the concept of having to 'sacrifice' your heart to posses the creatures.

The aesthethics are wonderful and so GameBoy-like. Well done.

The aesthetic is so cute and charming! The artstyle and music really sell the GB vibe and the mechanic is a really neat take on the theme. It's like if mario odyssey was on the gameboy.

This should be put into GBDK!
