There were some nice levels, and a lot of variation in mechanics for a game jam game (including the cannons, and getting a cannon yourself for the boss fight - yay!). The sounds are nice, and slightly scary ;-) (especially the skull's "DIE!").
Some tips: the arrow controls are inverted when standing on the left side of the screen. I tried it earlier, and it didn't run on my low resolution laptop screen - the minimum resolution is relatively large. But now I tried it again on a bigger screen and it worked.
Thanks for trying the game @PaulsGames actually I intentionally made it like no matter on what side of the wall you are, left arrow will always take you down and right arrow will take you up
I managed to beat the boss just by sticking to the right wall and turning gravity up and down. Pretty tough game, good job!
Thanks for playing @vogonCF
The aesthetics of this game are awesome! =D
It was a bit to hard for me though so I didn't manage too get to the end^^"
But really nice and well done! =D
Thanks a lot @MiniMelonStudio , hope you will also keep working on your game too :)
Well presented and good fun action-puzzler! I like how initially daunting looking levels turn out to be pretty easy once you've got the idea of what to do... Until the boss fight at least!
Would have appreciated a level skip so I could see more of the game, or maybe a walkthrough video.
Either way, good stuff!
@Deeperbiege Thanks for trying the game, by the way, I posted a video the ending is just showing people there is more into the game, I will keep working on the game after the jam :)
I got right to the end... I feel better about failing to complete it now!
I defeated the boss twice just to have their corps kill me, but third times a charm! Fun game!
@Kirbynator I laughed so hard XD reading this its actually happening, it destroys itself a bit late, by the way thanks for trying the game I will fix the issue after the jam :)
These puzzles are quite hard! I got stumped by the first level that has both static and following skulls.
It's an action/timing puzzle game, which keeps things interesting but yeah I think the difficulty was a bit too much for me. Particularly those skulls that follow you!
The art style really fits the difficulty however! :D
One suggestion I would have is to make the movement controls match what happens on screen when changing gravity. You already did when the gravity is up, but I would also change the controls to make it so that you use UP or DOWN to move when the gravity is on oriented towards either side.
Thanks @ShapesshiftingRabbits for playing the game, I will surely work on you suggestion :)
Very cool game! the aspect ratio was off on the web version so i couldn't see the whole screen but I enjoyed the fast paced puzzle gameplay! Great work!
Thanks @errol333 for trying the game, I will look into the problem
Really hard game, but I managed to get to the end. I like the idea of controlling gravity, and in the future it could be more developed, to make different heavy object. Something like the scull now, but even more noticeable. Basically play more with that concept of gravity, it could be interesting. But I don't know if it would make the game more puzzle oriented and if that is something you want.
@Pospec I will surely try some new changed, thanks for playing the game :D
A fun idea! I always like games that play with gravity. The boss was pretty hard though as the gun was a bit finicky. Good job overall!
Thanks man for trying it out :D
I think the theme here is pretty loose, but the gravity mechanic is pretty cool. However, a lot of the puzzles relied on twitch reactions or timing and felt very difficult and not in a good way.
There seems to be a lot of content here for a 48 hour jam. Congrats on making this! Well done!
Thanks @CFHM for playing it :)
I loved the gravity idea and had lots of fun with the puzzles. The boss fight was a bit hard, but thats probably good. I liked the graphics and think, that they are well fitted for the game.
Great game!
Thanks a lot @PitBull for trying the game :D
Really cool style :D Fun mechanic ideas too :D
Thanks a lot @NeatGames for trying it out :)
Interesting game and quite challenging! Well done!
Thanks @GeorgeKle for playing the game :)
You came up with some really good puzzles around the mechanic. The boss fight is super hard but once you get used to the gravity switch it becomes quite enjoyable.
The art and music fit well together!
Congrats on submitting!
Thanks @arya-s for trying the game :) glad you liked it
Solid entry dude! Not much on my end to point out.
Thanks a lot @Sfunk92 glad you liked it :D
I like the art and sound! The puzzles were fun too
ThankYou for playing @tomruxley
Really cool and unique idea and well executed. The music and art combined set a vibe and the puzzling sets a nice balance of challenging but not too frustrating.
Thanks @Omniclause for playing the game :D
I would argue that you are also joined to the skull that eats the locks (I know that is not true and you just changing the gravity but it sort of feels that way) It almost has an 'escape the room' vibe to it and it is an interesting cross between a platformer and puzzler (at least that's the way I saw it). It does get quite tricky at times since I want to move "up/down" when I'm on the side walls by but the game still requires me to move left/right. Unless that's intentional for the design you are going for, I would recommend adding an option to change left/right controls to up/down then the player is no the side walls.
Hey @ProdigalSonGames thanks for playing the game, I will surely look into the alternatives that you suggested.
Nice style, it changes from the others game. Btw to be honest I am not quite sure to get the storytelling behind :)
For the gameplay and controls part, In my opinion you could get more impact with sharper accelerations or gravity.
Congratulations for making it and thank you for the play!
I will surely work on your suggestion thanks for playing the game but the way :D
This game has very innovative game concept and fresh approach to genre. However, the thing I'd change is making more appealing graphic layout. Anyway, your game has great potetial for further development, good job! :)
Thanks @Grindorx I will surely keep working on this one :) All the best for you game too
