Solid mechanic, really well explored and presented with a lot of polish :D

Minor gripe - I wish ‘f’ and ‘r’ weren’t positioned next to each other, I had a couple of accidental restarts!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback!

Yep, we argued a lot about the control scheme and we will reconsider it in the future if we decide to continue the project! Thank you again for playing our game!

This game was very cool. I loved the art, the puzzles, the Join Together animation (the death animation with the blood also cracked me up). I can also see the amount of polish that went into this with the inclusion of coyote time which is rare for puzzle platformers. Awesome work!

Developer

Hey! Thank you very much for your kind words! We tried to put a lot of polish in our game!

A great execution of the 'puzzle platformer where you control 2 characters' style of game this Jam has seen so much of. Adding altered gravity between the two characters is a great move, and something a lot of the other games that went similar routes could have benefited from.

Hey! Thank you for your feedback!

Cute little game with great idea behind! I like switching characters it is more interesting plus sticking blue character to the ceiling makes it even more challenging and fun to play :D

This was really interesting! The platforming felt great and the mechanics were really well explored. There's probably more you could do with it, even. I'd love to see some more levels. Also, there were some sneaky spikes in level 5 that I think might have been unintentional but outside of that this felt really solid. Great work!

Developer

Hey! Thank you for the feedback! Glad you liked our game!

Great platformer with cool visuals! And you even avoided frustration by respawning instead of restarting the level. Great work.

Developer

Hey! Thank you for playing our game! Yeah, we did our best to try and avoid as much frustration for the player as we could. Glad you enjoyed it!

Amazing game !!!

Super polished, beautiful art style, so much juiciness and tight controls. Reminded me of super meat boy and thats always a good thing. Clever puzzles and flexible mechanics that let you expand on this idea and deffinetly worth putting out on steam if you have the chance.

Deffinetly on my top 10 so far and probably on the GMTK top 100 that Mark will review.

Congrats on this awesome piece !!!

One of the best and most intellectually stimulating games of the jam. I loved the dual gravity mechanic.....highly fun but also highly frustrating. Music was really suited too, I was amazed that I could listen to one chord for so long without getting bored!

It's a cool simple game, but would to see more complex levels.

Thanks for the feedback!

Clever use of physics, takes a while to get used to the inversion of the characters, but its introduced well so you never feel out of your depth. With many of the platformers I've played in this jam colliders and poorly tuned controls can make the game feel frustrating, but the controls here are spot on. One of the best games I've played in the jam so far.

Hey! Thanks for your feedback!

In a jam with many character-switch mechanics, I genuinely didn't think I would enjoy another one, but I did! Uphill battle for you and you got it!

I liked the squishiness of the animations and the puzzle pieces, and would love to see more!

Really fun to play! I like the idea of 2 character having opposite gravity. Even though the puzzle is straightforward, it's still fun to solve it.

The only tiny thing that i don't like is the precision of the jump. I don't know if it's intended, but giving the player a bit more leeway by increasing the jump height in my opinion would make the experience smoother

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much!

We will definetely take your feedback into consideration. We tried to find a balance between casual and challenging gameplay, and I guess we failed at some points. But this is what jams are for, huh? To let other people playtest your games. So, thank you very much for playing our game!

I saw this mechanic quite a lot during this jam, but the gravity twist and the introductions of portals bring the concept to another level. Great game, and great polish !

(Also I see you're a fan of the Free Casual SFX pack from Dustyroom as well ;) )

Developer

Thank you for playing our game! We tried our best to make it stand out from similar games.

Yep, we used Free Casual SFX pack, it was very useful for us)

A very nice and polished game. The visuals were very satisfying and I loved idea that the characters were puzzle peaces. It's a very small thing, but could you maybe add, that if one peace gets to his "flag", it actually gets into the drawn border? Also I liked it very much, that you added portals. I enjoyed playing the game very much.

Good game!

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback!

Yeah, having a character actually get into the drawn border would be a great addition, pity we didn't have enough time to implement this.

Glad you had fun playing our game, thank you for the comment!

Very creative concept! great artwork and satisfying sound effects! There's a whole lot of potential for more complex levels, good job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your feedback!

Oh I like this one! The addition of the portals was a great idea, and being able to switch between the two pieces and control them independently felt pretty good.

My only thought it that it might be more intuitive control-wise if the blue piece had its jump button be the down button since, even though you're jumping, you're going down on the screen. But I got used to the controls well enough by the end, so that's just a little nit-pick

Developer(+1)

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah, you're right having a jump button to be the down arrow would be more intuitive for "antigravity" character. However, you always can use space, which is a universal key for "Jump" :) We will make sure to take your feedback into consideration if we decide to further develop this game, thank you very much!
