Impressive, but still not longer than the longest conversion chain I needed in real life.

Probably the most relatable game of the jam!

Developer

Okay, that sounds crazy. Interested in sharing what it was for?

Submitted

Ironically, a game jam! The game field was projected on the ground by a projector. And guess what, we somehow didn't have the correct cable between laptop and projector, but we did have many connectors, except for the right one. It was a while ago so I don't remember exactly but I think we ended up with several converters to the cable, and a few back from the cable to the projector.

I loved this! Such a cool idea and perfectly fits the theme :D

Developer

Thanks a lot for your nice comment and for playing my game :D

Loved the whole idea of this game! Has a very satisfying click noise and is very original.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing :) I want through 3 versions of the click noise so I am glad to hear you like it.

It was the first game that I played on my stream tonight, if you want to watch me play it: https://www.twitch.tv/notquitecool

Cool 3d game made in 48 hours just perfect, game fits amazing with the theme. my favourite part is presentation animation which the character sits  and long story short ı liked the game.

Developer

Thanks for playing. Glad to hear you liked the animations :)

This game was so painfully realistic, but I absolutely loved it!

Developer(+1)

I am glad that you loved it! :D I was inspired by my own painful experiences xD

I love this, it is such a funny idea and a very creative take on the theme. The presentation (pun possibly intended) is very clean and I love the 3D art and characters. Overall a very enjoyable entry

Thanks for your very nice comment and for playing my game. I am glad that you enjoyed it :)

Cute idea and art style!

Developer

Thanks. I have just finished playing your game and I enjoyed it. It was a little hard to control in the beginning but I quickly got the hang of it. What I liked the most was the simple but... relaxing?(not sure what else to call it) art style. It is very pleasant to look at with all the patterns

The game is really fun and the interaction feels good !

Great choice for art btw :)

Thanks for playing my game and the nice comment :)

Ok this game is awesome xD

The physics finicky gameplay is hilarious and the office background noise fits so well. Like you're just standing there trying to plug stuff together while everyone silently judges you.

excellent little experience, the bluescreen though xD

Developer

You're awesome, and I am glad that you liked it. The game is definitely based on personal experience xD

A cute little game that is very efficient! I like the chaotic energy it had, while still being fun to play

Developer

Thanks a lot for the nice comment. I am glad you liked the game and its chaotic energy :)

I'm absolutely awful at this, and that makes it even better. Such a clever little concept, and executed so well! I really appreciate the little zoom window to get a closer look at each piece. I learned a thing or two about dongles today :P

Also the sound design was great. Very simplistic, realistic awkward silence. Really no notes/feedback. Just overall great job! Though if you were to expand the game, random idea pitch: perhaps you could add hardcore intimidating mode, where co-workers rustle papers, cough, gossip, tap pens, and there could be a "time till you're fired" timer to really kick up the intensity xD xD xD

Keep up the good work!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and I appreciate the feedback! I made sure to schedule a good chunk of time just for sound design. I considered having music but quickly decided it would be better with that awkward silencehehe. I like the idea of having your co-workers get louder and more distracted the longer you take. Again thanks for your comment :)

Submitted

this is too good. Amazing prototype! you could totally make this into a full casual game!

Developer

Thanks for playing. I had to work very fast the last day, so the code is a total mess. If I am going to expand on the game, I have to start from scratch, but maybe if I can find the time, I will :)

Thats everybody in the jam, dw

The longer it took me to find the right dongle, the funnier this joke got. It's way too real and I love it for it.

Developer

Your nice comment made me smile. Great that you like the game :)

Awesome, this was virtually every presentation 10 years ago, sometimes still. Well executed, I was initially going to call out that they are sometimes difficult to connect, but now that I think about it - it just adds to the realism. Enjoyed this probably more than I should have - ending is perfect!

Developer

Thanks for playing, and glad to hear that you enjoyed it. There was no limit to the angle when connecting in my first prototype, but it did not feel right because of how easy it was. From your comment, it sounds like it was the right decision to make it more difficult. Nice that you like the ending :D

Submitted

That's a 15/15 here!

Fun, straight to the point, easy to understand, cute... And a silly ending to top it off!

Developer(+1)

15/15 WOW! I am not sure what to say. Thank you very much. I put a lot of energy into it, so the fact that you like it makes me very happy.

Submitted

Wow! This is original! I liked the ending too - got a chuckle out of me.

Developer

Glad to hear that. Knowing I got a chuckle out of you made it all worth it :D

Giving this 5 Stars in "Presentation"

Hehehe

This game is hilarious and I love it! The ending was worth it!

Developer(+1)

wow! thanks for the 5 stars :D I am so glad you liked the ending. I was unsure if people would find it as funny as me.

Submitted

Oh if you made a more extended version of this game and in VR, I'd be all over that! haha!

Developer(+1)

That is a great idea! VR would be so much fun :D

Clicks and Clacks 10/10

Developer(+1)

Nice review. Would read again 10/10

Submitted(+1)

took me way too long to actually finish the game. very realistic A+++

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing :) At one point I considered adding batteries you needed to find and place in the dongles. I think it was for the better that I didn't have time for that xD

Submitted

The idea is very funny. I had fun playing the game.

Developer

Thanks a lot for playing! Happy to hear that you had fun :D
