Very unique concept. Could see this becoming a very satisfying mechanic with a wider variety of level layouts. Hope you continue to flesh out the idea. Well done :)

Developer

Thank you very much :D

This game is a brain teaser, really amazing, I'm impressed. It reminded me of that rick and morty episode. Great take on the theme, congratulations!

Developer

Thank you very much for your kind words ^_^

Nice game.

1, There should be sound, music, and polish.

2, Most of the levels are the same.

Besides these, nice game.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback :D

You're welcome.

Good concept guys although I found it a little confusing where the bullet is heading also fire sound just felt a little loud but this is something you should keep working on, overall I like the game :D

Developer(+1)

How shooting works, will be better explaint and the sound will also be changed in the future version of the game.

Thanks for the feedback :D

Really love the mechanics, very unique!
But it felt a bit disorenting and I never really felt in control. I wish the parallel universes were a bit more predictable.
Still a very cool game!

Developer

Thanks for your feedback :D We are working on the problem with the disorientation. I am glad that you still liked it ^_^

Submitted(+1)

Really great concept and very neat presentation! The only issue I had was syncing up was near impossible at times even it felt like it should have worked. The game can get really hectic but felt fair for the most part. The shooting was a little awkward at first too.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your feedback :D What did you find awkward about the shooting excatly?

Submitted(+1)

When shooting, the feedback given wasn't very clear on where the bullet was traveling, It took a minute to realize the bullet was actually appearing in the parallel version and not originating in your box. When first playing I thought the bullet would travel one direction originating from your gun and go thru your physical space then travel into the others. Kinda of like this mock up drawing. Once I figured it out it wasn't to terrible, but it was off putting at first.

Developer(+1)

Do you think, that it would have helped, if the tutorial would have been clearer about that?

Submitted(+1)

It is possible. that just pointing it out could have helped, but it didn't take super long to get use too, it was just one of those "why the heck is this not working, oh wait it is, it is just showing somewhere else" moments lol

Developer(+1)

Ok thanks for your detailed feedback :D

No problem!

Very interesting concept! It's fun trying to keep track of all your parallel selves. I found syncing very hard though.

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for your feedback! Which part of syncing did you find hard in particular? I am not disagreeing with you, but we get very different opinions on that, so I was wandering why excatly do you think that. It would be very helpfull if you could let us know. Thanks ^-^

Interesting concept with some cool artwork to back it up :)

I could have done with a bit more feedback, especially as the number of parallel selves increased- I ended up killing and merging more by accident than design!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words ^_^

We know of this problem at are working on it. This will definetly be changed in the new version. Thanks for the feedback.

Submitted(+1)

I really love the art direction and the concept is nice, but it's so hard to keep track of everything that winning feels a bit random

Developer

Thanks ^_^ We are working on the multitasking thing.

Didn't expect a game based off that one episode of Rick and Morty. It's a cool concept for a game. Nice aesthetic as well. I'm curious how you are changing the enemy behavior to match the player's?

Developer

I am glad you liked it. Moepeldimoep could probably explain it better, but what he basicly did, was to use the input of the player. With a certain probability, that changes from level to level, the parallel self then does something different. Also some parallel selfs are based on the behavior of other parallel selfs. I hope you can understand my explanation.

Thanks for your feedback :D

really intesting concept, too few levels though

Submitted

Pretty cool idea!

I found the moving screens a bit distracting, and it's a shame there isn't any music!

I would love to see this idea expanded upon with more complex levels, potentially with synced or mirrored movement between dimensions to give it more of a puzzle vibe. Definitely worth continuing building on this one! Well done.

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you :D There is actually mirrored movement already involved a bit. You can probably see it during the first and second level, that your parallel self are actually copying your movement. But with the ongoing rise of chaos in the higher levels, the parallel selfs more and more have completly own movement. Thanks for your kind feedback ^_^

Submitted(+1)

Awesome game! Kept me engaged for so long and awesome art and animations. While playing understood how to aim and move but never quite understood what pressing the right mouse button did?

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much ^_^  To sync, you and your parallel self have to STAND at the same position. Then you can press right click and you will sync. We will explain that better in a future version of the tutorial. Thanks for the feedback.

Submitted(+1)

Concept and gameplay are great. I'd love to see this with bigger maps and more splits. Maybe even multiplayer.

Developer

Thanks for playing :D

"There can only be one!" I quite like the concept and the presentation is decent, the timer and sound that goes along with definitely needs a change, perhaps doing away with it entirely and instead making your parallel selves increasingly aggressive as time goes on? I also think that perhaps merging with your other selves is a bit too easy especially since it makes the game easier as you do it, what I originally thought you'd have to do is sort of mimic the motions and stay "synced" up with them for a short while till you merged, not sure if that'd be fun, but, I think that or some other added challenge would be cool to have. All in all it's a fairly fun game, nice job!

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks for your feedback! The sounds will be changed in the new version. Your idea. of how sync works, sounds found. Maybe we will implent it in some way.

Submitted(+1)

This was definitely very interesting!  I haven't seen anything else like it.  I got a little bit confused over how to sync; it seemed like sometimes when I tried to sync it thought I was trying to shoot.  That or one of the selves shot another of the selves.  It also seemed that if they had different arm position or decided to lie down on the floor facing up, I couldn't sync because I couldn't do that (or at least I couldn't figure out how to do that).
But overall a really fascinating shooter-puzzle-set-your-own-difficulty-in-a-way game ^_^  Thanks for making it!

Developer(+1)

You can sync, when you and your parallel self are standing at the same position. In which way your parallel self looks is unimportant. Thanks for the feedback ^-^

Submitted(+1)

A very well implemented concept, great use of the theme, I had a lot of fun playing :D

Developer

Thanks ^-^

Hidden gem! That pixel art is awesome! Very well polished, in this short time! Congrats! Fav++

Developer

Thanks. It makes me very happy to hear, that you liked my pixel art :D

The idea behind this game was phenomenal. The artwork complemented the game very well. I think an idea that would have given the level layout more complexity could have been to have slight variations in some of the parallel worlds. For instance, having an extra platform in one of them. I am not sure if it would break the synchronization or not, but a bit of variance in the dimensions could go a long way.  Overall, this is an amazing game, especially since it was made in 48 hours and not to mention your first game jam. Good job!

Developer

Thank you very much :D Slight variations in different parallel worlds is an idea definetly worth thinking about. Thanks for your feedback.

Submitted(+1)

The concept of this game is so brilliant! All of the level design is very well made and the controls feel very smooth. The artwork is simple but looks pretty good. Nice work! However, as more and more parallel selves appearing, the game becomes more and more difficult and that kind of multitasking is a little difficult for me. But anyway, this is a good game! Really fantastic work for 48 hours!

Developer

Thank you very much. I am glad you liked it. We know of the problem with the multitasking, you were talking about. We are already working on it.  Thank you for your feedback.
