Hard to play when you're not using a qwerty keyboard. :-)
I'm also not sure what the advantage of joining together vs spreading out was.

Nice controls. Nice art. It was a bit hard to understand what you needed to do, and how to score points.
This looks nice, the art and music is super good, but unfortunately I wasn't really able to understand how to play the game. Which is the health bar, how do I know whether I'm attacking or joining? Often when I was in 'join mode' the enemies would bounce off me. It looked like they were doing damage, but I have no idea. why does that happen? I think this game needed a bit more playtesting from idiots like myself haha.
Interesting approach. Kinda meditative gameplay with this type of background music created an unusual atmosphere. Really liked the idea of nanobots having two modes and that we get to choose what upgrade to get.
Had a crash after about 5 minutes in, and to be honest half the time I had no idea what I was doing, except pumping up circle bots as much as possible and dodging to get the little triangle symbols.
BUT. It was a lot of fun and kept me on my toes. A great, inventive use of the theme, and some good strategy in there -- pulling the in to re-direct your swarm at big enemies, tightening formation to utilize healers, etc. Hope you polish this one, because it's really clever!
mine crashed when I tried to split apart D:
It's a lot of fun though, a tutorial or some signposting could help a lot. I didn't really know what to do until I got a ranged bot and started playing it like a top down shooter. the aesthetics are really clean which makes it easy to spot what's friend and foe even at small scale.
This was a really great game! I'd like to see an expanded version of this concept, it's really fun!
It seems that my melee bots didn't do any damage while joined. And since melee damage is always two-way it was kinda usless aniway, enemies spawn far more hp than I do. I tried to go ranged (though ranged bots seemed to be rare). They do shoot while joined, so I could keep them safe. But their damage was again little or nonexistent. I like the idea, but there are some problems with implementation or with conveying the rools.
Yes, it is my bad since i didn't have time to properly explain the mechanic in some kind of tutorial.
But basically, different bots give you different types of powerups when merged, Circle bots give you damage while ranged only gives you range attack. You still need to combine these two for dealing damage. Only having ranged won't deal that much damage.
Keep in mind that you won't spawn circle bots when joined together, only when disconnected.
Thank you for the feedback!
My bots weren't as good as the enemy ones but I still played it for quite a long time floating around.
Cool game, keep up the good work :)
I loved this game, especially its ambiance ! Really great work here
Oh wow this game is amazing.I really like it; five stars!
Very impressed with how much he has managed to provide in such a short amount of time. This has been a lot of fun and challenging. It appears that he probably did not want to spend too much time providing a guide / instruction to the game but after a single round you are able to figure out the gameplay and compose your own unique strategies. A+ for the visuals and audio as well. Thank you for your contribution.
