I am in love with the minimalistic aesthetic of this game! I found the gameplay to be relaxing and fun to play! I just wish there were more levels! You did a very complete and polished job on this game! Nicely done!
Since the voting has ended, I can update this game now. Optimized the operation experience of the space button to make it more rhythmic. Added sound effects. After the algorithm is optimized, FLOWs no longer slows down to a standstill. Reduced the difficulty of opening doors and capturing Flows. But It is still a simple DEMO,and there is no increase in the number of levels, I would not promise the future update of this work. In future time, I may consider expanding it into a complete game, or maybe not, It depends. The greater possibility is that I will use the gains gained in this game into my next game. In short, thank you for playing this game, and thank you for your suggestions!

Was looking really neat.
I guess having more Flows with other rules could make the game a bit longer and more complex.
Liked the fact that the gameplay is built around flow behaviors.
Original approach of the theme :-)
Was super relaxing as well.
Well done

I really adore the clean style, presentation, audio and careful teaching.
I'd love it if there were more levels! Once I thought that the real game starts, we got to the end :)
I quickly found the tactic to spam spacebar to keep my FLOWs together.
During the tutorial level, somehow on the first run the door did not appear for me and I thought that one of the colored borders will somehow open after I get them all. I spend some time playing around and not really getting it, so maybe that caused the problem? Restarting the game and completing the tutorial quickly made it work properly next time.
Solid entry!

I really like this one. It has a really clean look that's incredibly well polished for 48 hours. The design and gameplay are kind of simple right now, but what you have is so complete it feels like a released game. I'm looking forward to your update.

Good news. Working overtime for 48 hours optimizes most of the problems mentioned by everyone. I am looking forward to your feeling of playing my new version, but I regret that now I can’t post a link to it. I will update it in time after the Game Jam.
I love the idea behind this. It's a diamond in the rough and there's still a lot to exploit. Probably some design improvements (like level, pickups, elements, enemies and character; to distinguish the player better, for example) and I hope to see more!
Thanks, I've made an improved edition with some defects fixed ,which hasn't been permitted to update now. I'll upload it to itch when the Game Jam ends.

As someone who is fascinated by Boids, I am glad that this exists. The visuals are clean and the choice of music makes for a nice atmosphere. For criticism I agree with some of the other comments, steering is slower than I'd like and when you have a bunch of heated FLOWs flying around you it can be very hard to make out your character from all of them.
On a side note: it can be a bit tricky to get the FLOWs into the doors sometimes, I wasn't sure if it was because they didn't have enough heat or too much of it. Could've just been bad luck that my last FLOW kept dodging the door.

Very beautiful visually. I think the steering on the player is too slow and the fact that the other characters turn the same color as the player can make it very hard to make out where you are. I also couldnt beat the level since I heated all the flows up and nothing happened lol.

Nice :)
Very unique and nice concept! I have a few feedback points tho:
The player movement feels a bit slow and there seems to be no indication of why you sometimes can or cannot heat around you. Also, it might be nice to distinguish the player better from the other flows, as it is difficult to see which flow you're controlling if you're in a swam of heated flows.
But again, love the unique concept, well done!

As many others, couldn't really get the first level completed due to there seemingly being nothing else to heat and the door not opening.
At first I tried holding the space button, which turned out to be a mistake :P
You know already about the space thing, so no point in reiterating that, but the controls also coul've been a bit better. I'd suggest adding an ability to slow down (holding S) that would make the turning a lot better and obviously remove the space thing. Having the player heating the FLOWs at all times would be a much better thing to do, making the player focus on the movement and predicting the enemy flow instead of trying to find the right balance between heating up and having cramps :P
Great idea though, with some polish and more levels (with some obstacles maybe?) it could be a lot of fun!
Thanks for suggestion! Making the player focus on movement and prediction the enemy flow is quite a good idea. I will think about it and try to improve. When my girlfriend played this game, she made the same mistake by holding the space, so there is indeed something confusing in game guidance or interaction design.

Turned out that it is much easier if you heat them from the start while they are swarming at the centre. I love the idea that developer is basing this game on. Make it so relaxing. It is quite smart, and I enjoy recruiting other entities to join my course :) and the Black and Red choice is really nice. Would love it more if there is a stronger sound effect when player heats the flows. I'm not sure if I need to heat more flows or if i faced a glitch coz I've been rolating for a while with the flows but no door is opening.
Anyway, Cool Game umbra_onovich :)
Thanks for playing.
If you find a Flow is bright red,it usually got heated enough. This feedback is indeed not obvious, feeling the different centripetal forces may helps. I should give specific sound and animation effects to different states to distinguish them.
In most situations, the reason maybe is that some FLOWs have not been found, because the FLOW sometimes be extremly slow when they are far from the group.Yes, it's a bug.Another bug may cause this situation is that when a FLOW is near the edge of the screen while it's quite slow,it will be nearly static, and when these happen, its size will be very tiny so that you could hardly see it. It seems like the FLOW is "Stranding". I'm still thinking of ways to optimize the algorithm.

I didnt manage to finish the first level, but it was a really cool idea and I like the way it works. All my other feedback has already been mentioned. Good job
I should improve the game so that you can see the next battle level, it would be more interesting. One trick is to press again and again after the level loaded, so that all the FLOWs can be attracted as quickly as possible.

Hey. The game's art style is amazing, and the gameplay was very original, it felt satisfying to gather more and more FLOWs, only complaint being : why is the HEAT ability binded to a key and not just "on" all the time? If the game doesn't require you to not HEAT the FLOWs, don't make it an option to not HEAT them. Otherwise it just forces the player to spam the spacebar throughout the game for no real reason. Great game though!
You are right, keep on pressing space button again and again is a bit embarrassing. I tried to drop it but it seems to be a bit lack of feedback... In fact, at first I planned to make it an rhythm game, player should try to get the right time to press, but there's no time to draw the UI so I gave up. Let me think about whether there is an better optimization solution, or maybe it's better to remove it,just as Occam's Razor tells us: Don't add entities unless necessary.

Whoa. That was incredible for 48 hours. I loved the art and the music and just the game in general. My only complaint is that it could sometime be hard to tell which FLOW is the player and which FLOW was not.
This is indeed a problem, maybe I should add an aperture to the player's field of view and make the other parts a little darker. Or a more direct way is to make the image difference between players and FLOWs bigger...After all, the game mechanic shows that they are not the same thing.
The music is authorized by Adobe, thanks to Adobe. The art adopts a fairly simple approach, because there is no time to do more optimization, but thank you for loving it.

I really like the minimalistic style! The flows have a very nice animation and they are animated (lively), as they have different behaviours (speed).
The left/right controls are good. Sometimes I wished a tighter curve. A bit tiresome was the hitting the space button to keep them close.
I was not able to finish a level. I think I had all flows, but nothing opened. Before that one of the flows was hiding between border and line, and did not get much out of it.
The music was fitting, unfortunately it did not loop and ended after a short time.
Generally, I think there is a lot of potential to make this bigger (exploration, underwater, mediative, ...)
Thanks for playing.
Yes, I see the situation you said. Some objects will become extremely slow after they are out of group. I need to optimize the algorithm to improve it. At present, the speed of each object is determined by the others, so the individual who loses contact with the group seems fall into "stranding", which is indeed a bug. ( It looks a bit like we are talking about Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding... XD. Just joke. But maybe we can follow this imagery to turn it into some mechanism, for example, give it a specific state after identifying such an object, and then exclude it from the targets.
It's not a good design indeed to keep in continuely pressing space button to attrack others. It's a bit rough. At the beginning, I considered making the space button has more power , meanwhile it has a cd-time, but I didn’t have time to draw the UI. Maybe I should think about attracking other objects only by distance.
After the pure teaching part, there are two levels indeed, one is "to open the door", and the other is "to open the door after killing enemies". I hope you saw the part of killing enemies in the game(or in the vedio I updated to Youtube), although the difficulty is not stable. I want to expand it later. In the original plan, there will be a boss battle.
The audio got Adobe's free license, thanks Adobe. I found that I didn't set the loop. It was a low-level mistake.
On how to further deepen the gameplay, I should think about it
