Really fantastic first entry! I definitely think you should keep developing this with some of the feedback from this comment section.
Not bad for a first jam! It might be worth to decide whether you want to go for a more strategy-based approach with lots of systems of if you want to go for a more relaxed sandbox. Definitely felt like latter to me right now, which is fine if that's what you're going for. Got very laggy when too many sprites were on screen, so having a hard cap might be an idea here.
Cool game! Had fun just messing around with the conveyor belts and printing money. Really liked the pixel art and music!
I didn't quite understand if I was suppose to be combining parts or what the goal was other than to set up money printing machines haha. I think you need a bit more explanation or a tutorial. Also I really wish there was a undo or delete button for when I messed up.
Check out my game if you have a sec. Would love some more feedback as well
There are no tooltips for machines or anything telling me what to do, so i was really lost. There isn't an objective shown on screen as well, so i don't know what my goal is really, because if i want to make money, then i just spam the black snail thingy making machines and sell that and it's infinite money quickly. Also time controls would be welcome, because while i am building the machines flood the floor with stuff. And i would expect the machines to snap to the grid on the floor, but they don't. But i like the sprites a lot, i see talent there. (I you can find the time i would be happy if you took a look at my game and rated it)
Good job! You have a great foundation for an awesome game. I wish I knew what each of the things did but that can be added later. haha
Fun concept to mess around, a bit sad for me that this doesn't have any objective to clear aside just build and mess around in the factory, which after a few minutes the fun ended for me. But it fits the theme of the jam.
You can put objects outside the factory and overlap them. My old PC started to lag after spawning a lot of cars so it was fun to see. I liked how fast the objects can go in the transport bands and I liked the visuals and the little song, it fits together.
Good game for your 1st jam. :)
I made some real cash shoving cars into sell points.
The game looks good, the music fits the style and the core gameplay is fun!
Good job guys!
Didn't know how to craft but was experimenting in the game. Would love crafting. Now it spawns materials and you can sell them. I know making a factory game is hard. There is a nice base for the game that you could probably expand.
If only it would be as easy to make money in real life as in this game xd
nice setup here! with more time and polish this could be a real gem
Cool idea for the theme implementation!
I can only imagine how hard it is to implement a working factory system in just 4 days
I think I've completed it!
ohh you little....!
How dare you exceeding my achievements!
This is a really cute game. I would appreciate some hand-holding in the early stages to help wrap my head around the mechanics. Otherwise, great work!
Love the idea and pixel art! However I think you should add some restrictions and grid snapping on the building placement. Right now if I redirect the cash elsewhere the game is stuck.
As a lot of people have already said, I think the game could benefit greatly from having a goal for the player to work towards, as well as some incentive for players to not just make money printers using the car factory and a collector. That being said, this game was definitely more ambitious than a lot of games I've seen so far so well done. I also haven't seen anyone interpret the theme as scaling up a factory/business. Overall I think you should be proud of what you made, especially for a first jam.
It was pretty easy to print money by feeding cars. I would love some further development, like combining parts to form a full car! I see the potential in this factory, thank you for the game!
The controls and instructions were a bit confusing, but once I got it working, it turned out to be a fun little factory sim style game. I wish there were a few more components to like merge items together and make more complicated stuff.
It's pretty fun to create absolute chaos. It was a bit confusing to know what do at first. I couldn't figure out how to rotate the conveyor belts which would make aligning stuff easier. If it's not possible then adding it would help a lot >
Overall great job for our first jam!
Nice idea and artwork. A bit hard to understand at first because I was zoomed in but then I zoomed out and realized that my stuffs are spawned out of the line lol. Love the sandbox feeling of this game. Definitely would be good if the game mechanic can be explained more. Good job!
Nice Job, especially for a first jam! I had a bit of trouble figuring out what to do at the beginning. However, the mechanics are engaging and there's a lot of potential there. Kudos to the team!
Nice idea! It was a bit hard to understand the control, even with the description, and as the last person said, it's a bit easy to make money. Congratulation still for your first jam game, that's pretty cool!
