Although it's a bit difficult, the idea is pretty creative !

Well done! The game is simple, yet fun and pretty creative!

Simple yet effective concept! And I love the soundtrack! It's so nostalgic & charming!

This is an ineresting game, I enjoyed the challenge to begin with. however, I found it frustrating after a short time trying to rmmber exactly where I had put them last time and how to tweak the position this time. Also the game tells you "well done" even if you fail the level.
Could be a very satisfying game to play with some tweaks

Fun concept!

You don't see spatial awareness puzzles often and watching the sponges grow is very satisfying. I think its a good fit for the theme of the jam.

Feedback: It is pretty hard to tell where you placed sponges on the previous run and I think the game would be greatly improved with the ability to see where you had placed the last batch. Additionally, I also think a reset button would not be a bad idea in case the player miss clicks.

Visually, I think the game is very readable and its easy enough to understand what is working or not working with growing the sponges but not so easy that the solution is immediately apparent at a glance. The sponge growth felt fair and behaved as expected. I was never left thinking a sponge should have grown more than it did. As a side note, the benefit of the sponges and the water as a motif is it makes it really clear exactly how well you did visually and I think that was a really good call.

Overall, good work!

This satisfies my OCD.

It's really difficult to reach 50%, especially because it's hard to remember which sponges were placed effectively and which weren't (I had to take notes).
If the game, during the positioning phase, showed where the sponges were placed in the previous attempt, it would be much more enjoyable!

Additionally, I have the feeling that the percentage calculation isn't always accurate. I once got 52% with a placement that seemed to cover much less space than previous attempts.

In any case, it's a great idea that could turn into an excellent mobile game.

Really cool idea, not seen anything else quite like this!

The perfect kind of game for a game jam, simple to understand, not time-consuming, charming, and most importantly creative and fun!

Kinda makes me feel bad that my random attempts were better than my thought-out attempts, overall I got 52% after 7 tries.

I feel like having 1 or 2 fewer sponges would allow you to reach some higher scores but the added difficulty that comes from having to place more sponges is not something I'd be afraid of.

Thankfully my team and I didn't go for a packing problem game like I initially suggested. It would have been hard to compete with your game.

Interesting take on the theme, a little bit hard with soo many sponges but in general a great entry for the jam, Well Done.

I like the sponge sound. I think it's a bit hard for the first try with that many sponges. And I only got to 50% with placing them randomly and not with thinking about it. xD Some more different settings with less sponges would have been nice. Overall I liked it. :)

Unfortunate that only the cube and rabbit sponges were working in time, but this is an incredibly creative take on the theme!

Love the idea - would be nice to be able to mess around with fewer sponges to start to get a better feel for how the mechanic works, with 10 sponges right off the bat it's hard to strategize without just replaying a bunch.

Glad to see I wasn't the only one these weird little spongy animals left a big impression on.
I found the game very difficult but it's a very smart premise.

It took a while for me to understand what was happening. Nice sponges.

Really cool game idea, could see myself playing a full puzzle version of this game.

Super intriguing. Would be cool to see what the max percentage is/how you achieve it.

It's cute but not very interesting to play

This is such a fun and unique idea!
