Such a quality game. Not much I can add to the already deserved positive feedback. Brilliant effort!

Very cute game. Took me a bit in the first photo to understand how to get the camera to appear as I thought I was supposed to solve a puzzle by lining up the car and the house, but once I got to the hints, that made the game far more enjoyable as I knew what I was supposed to do. (Of course, me thinking the dad was supposed to King Kong the Empire State Building gave me trouble until I found the hint telling me what the photo was supposed to look like.) Still, fun game. Great job!

Happy you enjoyed it!

the dad was supposed to King Kong the Empire State Building

Haha that’s actually what we were going for! Glad you spotted it!

This was such a cute and unique game! I loved the way you could track the road trip geographically by the landmarks, that was a neat touch. My only complaint is that sometimes it seemed the subject of the photo needed to be cut off in order to get the correct shot? I also felt that the pose select was a bit unnecessary - it felt kind of like busywork before I could get down to the business of making the perfect shot. But overall this was a fun and very well-polished gem of a game :)

Thanks for playing! I’m happy you noticed our accurate geography :) All of the photos can be taken with the subject fully in-frame! In the future, I think we’ll make that a requirement, but we figured for the jam, we’d rather have it be too forgiving than too difficult. We’ve also got some more puzzle-y plans for the Pose Select feature, if we decide to invest more into this game! Thanks for playing, and for the detailed feedback!

Simple, cool and chill game.

The idea is cool. My respect to the artists. I really enjoyed playing. The idea is simple, the implementation is good. The style reminds me of the game Melatonin. You are great.

Developer

Thank you! We spent a lot of time finding and adapting assets to fit our aesthetic. Melatonin is a beautiful game - I’m flattered by the comparison! :) Thanks for playing!

Love the clever idea, amazing work.

Very clever idea and great art style! The amount of assets made in this short period of time is crazy. Only thing that irritated me is that sometimes the perfect shot required me to cut of a good portion of the character - but may be a browser related issue as well. Anyway, very impressive and enjoyable entry!

wow. this is so clever, highly polished and creative. i can only congratulate you. but as this is a very casual game, i think it should not be so strict about the placement and maybe allow you to take pictures whereever you want. maybe people find unusual spots that are also fun ;)

Developer

Thanks for playing! A sandbox mode sounds like a lot of fun - good idea! :)

Good game! Clever take on the theme and the art was nice! :D

For feedback, the only thing was the camera sound was a bit hard on the ears.

Other than that, good work on this!

Developer

Noted, thanks for the feedback! You can change SFX volume from the Options menu. We’ll look into the sound mix and see if we can find a better balance for those sounds :)

Super enjoyable, super lovely game, absolutely adore all the art and trying to figure out the right way to take each picture is great. Loved it!!

The take on the theme is super concise and charming! I liked being able to mix and match a bit between pictures. Very cute mechanic and style, and overall really sweet game!!

I absolutely loved this: very cute and exceptionally well polished.

Really feels polished and put together! Some of the same vibes as unpacking. I don't know if the "pose" mechanic was really utilized, but otherwise a very nice job.

Very cute, I'm surprised you all had enough time create it, so polished!
