How does your game fit the theme?
Instead of attacking the enemies or having troops of your own, you can only work with scaling - either the environment, the enemies or yourself. We especially like that by visually scaling an entity, its HP, damage and speed are also changed.

It looks so good for a game jam! All of the presentation is excellent ! It's fun but it crashes too often for me :/

Developer

Yes I totally agree, the crashing really ruins the experience, but I'm really glad you like the visuals :D

Idea is interesting, did not quite get the game but well done

Developer(+1)

Yeah, we could have invested a bit more in the actual game-explanation part, but glad you still found it interesting! :)

Very cool game with great art. Scaling gimmick is super fun to use. I had a few crashes but overall experience was really great. Good job!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much, I'm super glad to hear that!

Loved the visual style and the models, music is nice too. Also being able to change the size of the building to change the HP is creative, great job.

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you liked it! :D

Interesting idea! Haven't seen many tower defence style games yet!

Developer

Thank you so much! :)

Loved the art style, and it's a cool idea, though other than shrinking the bridges, I couldn't really figure out how you were supposed to stop the pots? ^^;

Developer

Thank you! We were thinking about giving some hints, but kind of didn't have time for that, but some thoughts were to scale the environment up around the bombs to hit them, blocking the bombs' paths (which crashes the game occasionally, so maybe don't do that), letting the sheep loose and hoping they collide with some bombs, and we had some other stuff planned but the rest sadly didn't make it in, like getting rocks to roll off ledges etc. :)

Idea is super creative. I like the fact that the scaling mechanic applies to anything, it offers a lot of interesting gaemeplay opportunities. Great job!

Developer

thank you so much, that is very cool to hear :D

I liked the game ! The art was very cool, the music gave some rythm. The game eventually crashed when I tried to kill the parachute-jars.

The sheep sometimes get stuck.

I need a button to give it's normal size to all items because sometimes I lose sight of items I trans-scales and I'm stuck without mana.

Developer

Thank you so much! Yeah the pathfinding kind of blew up very last minute sadly, but the "unscale all" button is a really nice idea :D!

Neat idea! The parachute jars remind me of the parachute bob-ombs from Super Mario World lol

Developer

Thank you! Yeah hahaha we tried to make them somewhat visually distinct from bomb-ombs but they still look pretty similar :D

It’s a shame it crashes a lot, otherwise it would be really fun. Liked the idea and it was fun to hit the enemies, and the art style is great!

I hoped to be able to let the giant sheep out but couldn’t find a way :(

Developer

You can scale the fences smaller to get the sheep out :) But you kind of have to pray that their pathfinding then actually moves them out of the fenced area :D Glad you liked it, despite all the crashing!

The art and music is absolutely adorable. On top of that the gameplay's really fun.

Good job and Best of luck for future Projects

Developer

Thank you so much! That is super kind!

I looove the art. The art and music work here is beyond good for gamejams. But the constant crashes were very frustrating =(

Developer

Thank you so much! And yes, I totally agree the crashes make playing it really really hard

Cute style and twist on the tower defense game! I had to refresh a couple of times due to the freezing, but it was worth it when I got to defeat a few pots using a sheep!

Developer

I'm so glad someone actually used the sheep and it worked! :D I'm super happy that you still liked it!

Took me a second to realize how to actually hit enemies with the scaling gimmick lol. I managed to get to the first flying enemy and then the game crashed. Visually, it had a very strong style and the music fit really well!

Developer

Yes, the crashing really is exhausting :( Glad you still liked it though! :D

Submitted

Cute style - maybe a little too much post processing :D

Some of the models look like their normals are not quite right (rocks etc)

Quite enjoyed the idea, the crashing ruins it a little as its hard to experiment.

Like the concept though - well done :)

Developer

Thank you so much! Yes I think some visuals look a bit weird too, but so glad you liked the concept :D

Nice art style, I especially enjoy the Greek aesthetic. While the grain filter over the screen slightly detracts from the overall experience, I still appreciate its toylike execution. Given the game’s scope, especially considering the 48-hour timeframe for the jam, it’s quite impressive. The concept of using the tower defense environment to fight back against enemies is really creative, though the bugs do detract a bit from the experience. I’d love to see this get further developed post-jam! Also, I must say, I’m a huge fan of the music—it’s truly captivating.

Developer

thank you so much! yes we totally completely overscoped, but I am glad it's still playable enough that people enjoyed it! :)
