The game locked up on me once or twice, but the retro grayscale style was cool.  the idea of the enemies moving while you are moving is a good idea!!

Streamed today!!

Awe thanks for streaming it!

Seeing the freezing issue live was actually quite helpful!

Really cool and the ramping in difficulty was well done! I also liked all of the different mechanics that gradually got added, especially the timing one! I can't really think of any issues besides wanting more levels lol, excellent job!

I was really digging it, but even after drinking that potion, I couldn’t get the tricky skeleton :(

Super credits scene at the end! Really cool game you made! But what will little Dipper do to my my Blob slime ??

Fun turn based dungeon crawler. It manages to make engaging puzzles from a simple idea. You have to plan your moves order to pick the portions in the correct order.

The 1nit graphics are great and the sound nails the retro vibe. Reminded me of classic roguelikes dungeon crawlers/

Overall a great entry! Also ultra buff dipper best dog.

i really enjoy this kind of games and this one is no exception.
one small thought i have is that maybe, for the way the sprites are drawn, the grid is not immediately "readable" with the character being off center and all, but I guess that's in the style of old roguelikes so that's fine, just takes a bit of getting used to it.
also like other comments, I wasn't expecting to be able to grow twice, because i thought the game teached me that you can only do it once, so I was a bit stuck on the last level for a while. I guess it should be made clearer that it's only the space around you that stops you from doing so.
aside from that the game is really good, nice work!

Love how buff Dipper can get :D Very polished, easy to understand and control, very well done overall. Great entry. Congrats!

Cool doggo and game, ended up beating it. Glad you got your sleep! Really felt great when I finally was able to get to the Large size and kill the dragon. I think you guys did quite well in balancing the difficulty, although I will say the offbeat mechanic felt a bit confusing at first  but it ended up only being explored for a short time.

What a fantastic mascot! Pretty clever puzzles, too. A pleasure to look at and play -- congrats on a great submission!

Had a lots of fun with this one! The concept is simple but the levels are well thought out and the difficulty curve is handled really well.  Good game!

Love the game! Great art style and really interesting puzzle mechanic, super well polished

Genuinely one of my favorite game of the jam

I can easily see this be a complete game if you expand on the concept!

A really great fun game! Enjoyed the different levels, found them challenging in a good way. Had to restart a few times to get my head round the puzzles. A touch of Alice in Wonderland there - clever approach to the theme of the game jam.  Brave Little Dipper :D Well done!

Really cool! Great range of levels, each with a unique mechanical focus. I was impressed by the mileage you got out of this concept. The presentation is quite nice (though the SFX were a bit loud), and I loved seeing the 3rd size tier! Enjoyed my time with this one.

Awe thanks! I'll try and tweak the sounds a bit and improve the options menu a bit. (The options were rushed)

I loved the art style, and the puzzle mechanics which had me stumped a few times! Unfortunately I did run into the control freezing issue a couple times especially on the "Dragon?" level, which was frustrating, but also understandable. There were a lot of unique ideas, and I even loved how a couple of the puzzle catches teased the epic climax. Great work!!

Very good game! I was surprised by the amount of creative puzzle ideas you managed to make from such an easy to understand idea!

Awe thanks Ada!

This was a cool take on the theme. Really loved the levels and having to figure out how to complete them. I loved feeling overconfident and then realize I did everything wrong lol and still proceed to repeat the same exact thing cause I forgot what I just did

The levels are really well made. Everything gets explained really well and with enough space to learn the mechanics correctly. It's not too easy but not too hard either which is perfect.

The only thing I didn't really like (mostly cause I'm lazy) was having to manually reset the level when poor Little Dipper pays for my mistakes and dies.

As for improvement, there's only one that comes to mind and is to maybe add a bit more visual feedback to the offbeat mechanic. Either when you get the potion or a change in the skeletons themselves. After a few tires you start to understand the mechanic better but I think a bit more feedback never hurts.

I enjoyed the game a lot! Great job! And amazing credits lmao
