Really fun puzzles! I had a great time trying to figure them all out that I wish the game was longer! I'd like to see some mechanics shown implemented into more puzzles, but it's understandable for 96 hours. Hope to see this expanded on in the future! :)

This was really cool! Going in I expected more of a platforming focus, but what I got instead were a bunch of really well-designed puzzles, so I'm not complaining. Felt very polished and never got too frustrating. Good work :)

Really interesting puzzles and very polished!

LOVE THIS! The look, the feel and the sound design were all well executed.

This is just my opinion but I'm not sure about the choice in music. I wasn't picturing something close to skyrim. I love the idea of a drone through gameplay and have it expand every other level. But maybe have a hybrid orchestra mixed with dark fm synths. Layered with noise, it can capture your beautiful pixel art really well. Again, this is just my opinion. You made a great game! Nice job. 5/5

Woow, awesome pixel lart style and color palette! Really creative take on the theme! We had a lot of fun with this one! Awesome job!

nice simple puzzles, i enjoyed it :) couldve also worked if the charcter would walk to the exit by itself so there is more focus on the puzzles

Fun puzzle game, love the art style, also good take on the theme. I like the choice for music and sound effects. Solid game for the jam.

It's a really solid puzzle game.   I thought the length was fine for a short game jam.

Graphics, sound effects and animations are great, but the music is too sombre for such a cute puzzle game.  It does sound nice, but just doesn't fit with the rest of the game.

I feel like moving the shade critters is somewhat unnecessary, but that's a minor issue.

the audio and art is amazing! the slugs are so cute, and i loved piecing together all the mechanics as the level progressed. i hope i can see more after the jam finishes!

I really liked the audio design and the art (great choice of colour palette).  The puzzle mechanics were interesting, although it would have been nice to see more levels.  It feels like it ended just as it was getting started, but I guess that's fairly normal for jam puzzle games. The shadeslugs are cute.  Solid entry overall.

Long live the shadeslugs.

Liked the puzzles, some of the card interactions changed, really think that the rule set should stay the same so I can understand it. Less lead to some frustrations at times.

Some of them I solved by moving my slug during moves which felt cheaty but fun at the same time.

Really enjoyed the puzzles and the art is nice and the feel of the game is polished.

Great job and nice entry!

Developer

Thanks! I'm not sure what you mean by the cards changing though, their effect stays the same throughout the game!

Sorry what I meant was that the cards can't always be used on the same Glorbs:

Like here I cant make the red bigger with the blue card  - but in other puzzles I could

Developer(+1)

Ah yeah I added in that "safeguard" so that you can't expand red Glorbs who are close to the ground because sometimes that caused them to glitch with the physics... Definitely not the best solution but couldn't come up with anything better in a short enough time

That makes sense!

Cute idea, the glass block really shows the potential of the game!

Don't you hate when you're playing a puzzle game and then you accidentally killed the sun?

I liked the presentation, very clean and very cute. However, as a puzzle game the mechanics were a bit unclear. It's hard to visually what will happen when you apply the effects of a card to a Glorb (what is that name), and the physics interaction between Glorbs are also a bit counter-intuitive at times, so pretty much the only way to see the result of an action is trial and error, which is fine but really not ideal compared to being able to visualize the puzzle in your head and "click" everything together.

Developer

Yeah there's definitely some unpredictability because of the weird physics issues, I tried to help with the visualisation thing with the selection indicators but it's definitely not perfect...

Epic idea. very cool game.

I didn't play all the way through, but very cool game!

The idea is really unique and engaging. Game is also well polished visually. This could easily expand into a full fledged game, so fits even better with "Built to Scale"

Fun concept that I wish had more time to explore/expand on (or scale up?). Really appreciate the story elements added in, especially the ending!

Fun little puzzle game! Would be nice if the reset was a bit faster and would have loved if there more block interactions to the game (like moving red blocks into explode blocks would explode them which could cause chain reactions). Overall the  the visuals were great and the gameplay was easy to pick up.  Great work!

Developer

Thanks! And I agree it would be cool if I added more interactions and stuff but the game is already super unstable behind the scene so adding even more physics stuff would be a nightmare xD

Fun game and interesting ideas!
