How does your game fit the theme?
Built to Scale : Management game, the more the player advances, the more resources he gains, the happier the villagers are. The more the zones of influence of each building grow so that the player has more room to place his decorations. The more villagers gain levels, the more powerful and larger they become, like players.

I do like this game but I feel it's fit to the theme is quite a stretch.

Ah ok, we felt in the team that it was a good match. We are too focused on the project, lack of perspective ( for us nothing but the management game genre fits perfectly into the theme. we then added ingredients to go further )

Maybe the change of direction took us away, on Saturday we made a change puzzle game > sandbox cozy game (because it didn't work too much + taste of the team)

Thank you very much for your feedback :) glad you liked it

Love this town builder management game., I was confused about how things worked at first but it was very enjoyable to see everything I built come together.

A fun little game with a consistent atmosphere. It was very enjoyable to build the village and make it look nice, and the art and music made it a very relaxing experience. There was a bug where I couldn't place decorations anywhere after switching sometimes, and I would have to switch to something else and keep my cursor in a valid placement area while moving it to the menu. Overall, a very good game.

Very cool game!

A well polished game. Love the art, and I had a lot of fun making a little town for my players :3

This game is so well done and cute and polished. Impressive given how little time you had. Everything fits perfectly together - the graphics, the music, the animations. Nicely done!

I think I played this game wrong. I tried to optimize and find a strategy, which ended up in me spamming any decoration to level up buildings mindlessly.
But it seems to be more about chilling and building a cool place. That's a neat concept.

Yes and even during the jam we had a transfer, at the very beginning it was thought of like a puzzle, where each action / placement had to be very well thought out.

We changed to suit the tastes of each member of the team.

Yes, we are clearly on something without any hassle.

Thank you very much for your comment <3

Wow what a great game! Very cozy! I LOVED it! Well done!

I think I had not yet seen an idle game use customisation so well. These two go so well together! The game is very calming, satisfying and well put together. Well done!

UI scales very weirdly on some resolution but hey, most jam games do so it's ok.

Whouua merci beaucoup Doot

Pleins de keur sur toi ! :3 :D

Ah oui ça c'est notre problème classique à toutes nos jams... a chaque fois on a des problèmes dessus, ça va finir par rentrer :D

Merci beaucoup pour ton commentaire <3

lovely, so cosy! I could have easily played for longer. More decoration availability would have been nice each time an area levelled up, and more tailored decor to each type of building would have be cool! But I get that you probably couldn't do that in the time limit! brilliant stuff :)

Thank you very much for your feedback,

so yes in a sandbox game, you need content, it's super important, we tried to do our best with the time available (having a UI/UX designer allowed us to have more time for our artist to make content)

But yes it makes me want to add more :D

A huge thank you, very happy that you liked the game

Cozy is a very apt title for this game. You did a great job putting together a really solid entry. I also really like the little details added to your game page!

Really outstanding to make this for a game jam, you guys managed to do what we failed lol. The visuals are great and cozy and the gameplay is fun, great job.

This is one of those games that you just wish was expanded on. It's so engrossing and relaxing.

I could easily see this being fleshed out. I suppose you could say it could be scaled up ;)

Lovely cozy game! I loved seeing the villagers go by. Great work!

Seeing the activity in the village is pretty relaxing! I'm not sure to understand fully how the progression works, but by adding random stuff I eventually reached the end of the game. I wish there was a bit more variety in the decorations (I mostly added flowers everywhere to level-up), but I guess this had to fit it into the jam.^^' It might not have brand new mechanics, but it is still a chill and cozy game!
