How does your game fit the theme?
Burning objects increases your size. The larger you are, the bigger things you can burn. In this regard, the main gameplay feature is the player's 'scale'. Firefighters also reduce the players scale as a hindrance.

Aside from jamming to the soundtrack, I wanna add that it's hard to tell what scores and how much things will score.
I need a full length spotify version of that soundtrack. WDSTF is one of my favorite songs of all time I am livinggg.
great idea! The idea is super interesting, I like the interpretation of Scale that you used in the video game. The collisions were a bit uncomfortable, I think it is necessary to modify them so as not to get stuck. I think that if you implement the movement with WASD and apply a filter to the clouds so that they do not cover the view, the game would be more entertaining

I like this game's concept and art style but the gameplay could use some work. For one, I didn't know that you could only burn small objects at first so I was just going around lighting stuff up thinking I was gonna gain score when I wasn't. I say make it so that objects you can't actually destroy don't get lit up & communicate to player that only small objects can be destroyed at first. Second, I don't like the time limit mechanic, there clearly isn't enough ways to increase the timer and it's quite anticlimactic when it ends. Maybe do away with the time limit altogether and just make the game get gradually harder and harder and have some big firefighter final boss or something.
I totally agree. The timer was originally put in place as there is an upper limit to how big you can realistically get and the game becomes too easy and not fun. It would’ve been better to balance the enemies though and add a bigger boss enemy as you suggested as I also feel the timer makes it anti-climactic. Those of us working on design are primarily programmers, so it is a bit of a learning experience for us. Thanks for the detailed feedback, I appreciate the time you spent giving it to us!

The only critique I have is that the UI didn't show up for me. Maybe also a bit more sound effects.

Really fun game. The only thing that wasn't clear at the begging is why did trees start burning but didn't give points.
Additionally, I have played the game on Android (Specifically 14). The game shown a warning that it might not be compatible. Otherwise it worked fine, except dash button doesn't do anything and restarting crashes the game.
Nice little game. Would love to see fire propagation on the level, or on the ground ! Great work !
The music: I see what you did there. The ui was bugged for me. Overally, nifty game.
