the bouncing mechanic was so fun and made 100x better by the sound effects! love to see a game with good music too.

Very easy to read and understand what to do, starting the game you right away get a good feel of the controls. Dashing is actually helpful, also bouncing off enemies to hit other enemies was very satisfying. The idea is cute, the graphics are nice. The only thing I didn't like was how zoomed in the camera was, it added a lil stress to not see where or what's coming but I wouldn't say it's a negative point, I think it's just me.

Incredible execution of a gamejam game revolving the theme perfectly. 5/5/5

Such a sweet game. I loved the theming, and the main character.

Most top down arena type games like this would have you running away from enemies, it's nice to be charging into them! I really like the games art, was it all hand drawn?

Developer (2 edits) (+1)

Thanks. Yeah it was all hand drawn by our artist

Took me two tries to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was fun! Quite tough with how you character carries inertia, but that was part of the challenge. I liked how the arena kept getting bigger and bigger. I kind of wish the camera was a bit more zoomed out, but maybe that's just part of the challenge. Good work!

Developer

Thanks a lot. The inertia wasn't intentional at the start, but we went with it later on. Will surely change the camera if we update the game in the future.

Pretty good game oldo the controls felt a bit too slippery to me. I also encoutered a bug where the "eye" enemy got stuck inside memory but didn't destroy it so I couldn't finish the level :(

Developer

Thanks, will fix the bug if we update the game.

Uhh I loved it. You made a game with a great meaningful theme. And the art is very cool. The only tip that I can give to you is the camera, I dont know, imo there was someting strange on it, like that It was hard to me see the "intrusive emotions" coming, sometimes it was impossible to me reach them in time

Developer

Thanks, we will definitely improve the camera if we update the game

The mechanics were really fun, could see it translating to a different project really well without scaling! Good job!

Cool and cute idea! As said before, it's a bit hard to see everything, but it's still fine, it was enjoyable! Congratulation for the entry!

Very cute game ! Love the wobbly effect ! It's a bit frustrating to not see the whole screen while moving so slow but the game is very forgiving so it's alright.

Developer

Thanks for playing and the feedback! We noticed the same, and we had it on our list to solve with maybe a mini-map, or edge warnings on the screen, but just ran out of time. Would've been nice to have for sure!
