How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is centered around the use of a hammer that the main character builds to be bigger every time an enemy is defeated. As the hammer grows, the level also expands to fit the scale.

I really enjoyed playing this game and the art was great.
Such a satisfying game well done!
I love this! There's something so satisfying about swinging a giant hammer and clunking enemies like no tomorrow. The good sound design reinforces this, and the art is top notch!! Very great character design and lovely pixel art! Really enjoyed this!
Also, laughed out loud at them yelling FUCK. Are we allowed to swear? Oh well. 10/10
thank you!!! also that line was our original test line for when she gets hit, and we deleted it, but i think in the great merging of the branches an hour before the build was due it came back somehow, so now its just canon ig LOL
It's A Feature!™
THAT IS HILARIOUS LMAO (git moment)
Great presentation, and the game feels amazing when you get into the flow of it. My only complaint is that the fireballs become a bit hard to track once everything starts to scale up. If you're going to keep on working on this, I would like to see a dash move of some sorts using the momentum from spinning the hammer!
Very polished top down survival game with a weapon that just keeps growing big!
Beautiful art, heavy hammer and perfect character reaction. As for the gameplay, when you hit a lot of enemies you get long camera effects (shaking and stopping), it breaks the gameplay.
Well, many comments have pointed out what I was going to say... This really is like something you'd pay to play. Art is great, music is good, the gameplay is fast, responsive and satisfying. Went through all of it in a single go and now I want more. Easy max score from me!
This feels like a game that you'd pay to play, that's how good this is. The visual style is incredibly clean, detailed, and distinct; the amount of juice in the game interactions is incredibly satisfying, and a shockingly good amount character in the game, despite being such a short game! I could see this becoming a small indie hit if given more time to expand upon, because playing it made me feel like I was playing a game I willingly paid for. The gameplay is simple, but the experience is grand!
Liked it ! I kept playing even tho I died so small bug here. Also text goes way to fast I don't have time to read everything.
Overall great ideas, fun game play, and cool drawings !
cool game! The music slaps, the colors are really nice and bright, and the UI feels really clean! I feel like the hammer swinging mechanic was meant to feel like this really satisfying thing whenever you crunch through enemies, but especially as the game went on I never had any room to spin it up to speed, so I ended up just hitting everything super slowly, which made killing enemies take longer and further crowded up the screen. Also I think I was doing something wrong bc I never got any combos. fun overall tho, especially in the early game :)
The characters are fantastic, the art styling is wonderful, and the swinging hammer combat is unique and enjoyable. I I did find it a little frustrating when enemies grouped up and really slowed the hammer down but I feel like that is probably a skill issue on my end for improper movement. I would happily play this for hours!
Fantastic art, reminds me of Skullgirls, such a distinct identiy. Gameplay was great, simple yet engaging mechanic, great player retention and replayability. I kept wanting to go back in every time i lost, story was charming too! I'm not particularly keen on long dialouge right out the gate when playing short games, but this one had me engaged, with its brilliant sketchy art style and very expressive character dialouge, that being said, I'm surprised you only get the fun cutscene through the tutorial, It'd be a shame people miss out of that fun little moment if they just skipped straight to the gameplay, you only get the relationship between the two protagonists and that awesome art through that cutscene.
As for negatives, I bugged out a couple times in the big reactor thing when my hammer would lock me in place and I'd be unable to move, wasn't sure what happened. Also, I noticed that when I combo'd long enough, the camera shake would be a little too powerful and made it a little difficult to see what was happening on screen.
I wouldn't call this a negative but I also noticed at the endgame with the scale being so high, it was hard to maneuver around with everything so big and the player being so small, plus no healing kept me on edge, but I'd attribute this to pretty neat difficulty scaling.
Overall that was really fun! I want to see more from these character and their wacky adventures and I found the gameplay really replayable!
Very satisfying game. Love the artwork!
Fun game, spin combo makes you feel great! Bus changing sizes felt kinda out of place to me.
Cute characters, satisfying smashing feedback, love it!
Also, mixels 😎
mixels!!!
it is so satisfactory to smash things with the hammer! Amazing smashing feedback and very cool art style. well done!
Really fun game, I love the impact on hit, the music is great, and the art is lovely. Only thing to note really is that it would be nice for the combat to have a tiny bit more depth, like a dash that slows down your hammer but helps dodge bullets. Otherwise, still incredibly fun, combos are incredibly satisfying and rewarding, and this is just an overall great time.
Once I found I need speeed it got fuN!! Love the game!
insane game. nothing else to say, really like the fact you can switch momentum on hit
Really satisfying game! Super well made, amazing art and visuals, great feedback on the hits. Music was pretty good, and I didn't notice the loop until right at the end, so perfect timing there. Sound was great too, the hammer sound was well designed.
