How does your game fit the theme?
You have a cult of 100 followers at the start and you scale it down into a powerful group of 10 warriors. Also used scale to show strength of the units.

Pretty much what the previous commenter said :D We used space instead of clicking, seemed a little easier. Art was really nice. Sacrificing followers was a fun twist on the scaling aspect. Nice job!

Didn't really understand what my choices meant, but resurrected the dark lord anyway.

I resurrected the Dark Lord, but I hate you for making me click all the way through it, lol.

Love how you handled the theme, the art, and the quirkiness of this. However, not a fan of carpal tunnel simulators. A good suggestion to get around this is to balance the game based on a fixed "click" speed and let people hold down a button, which then becomes an additional stat they can boost up. Normally, people play this type of game to brain off and relax, not cause themselves physical pain, lol.

All that said, I think it's still a great submission, good work!

I have succeeded in rising the dark lord! Cool take on the upgrade system for clicker games!

Loved it, really my kind of game! well polished in art and design, good job! :D

The art was definitely the highlight! Amazing work! The gameplay was nice too, I enjoyed clicking, although I definitely sucked more with just the mouse

Great atmosphere and art. The gameplay got a bit tedious pretty quickly, but I like the idea of condensing a large group into a more powerful, smaller group.

I wasn't entirely sure what the potion upgrade did? And it felt like the attack up was basically the best one to pick every time? Though being able to click/press space fast did seem to be the most important element.

Anyway, this was very charming and looks really good; I would have liked some more mechanics, and maybe something other than clicking to do damage (e.g. an autobattling kind of thing?), but that might be a preference thing on my part. Nice job nonetheless!

I remember playing a similar flash game back in the day in which you clicked to spawn minions and had to outnumber an opposing army. Simple gameplay, but context can make it fun, and the art direction kept me invested for my entire playtime. One thing I will say is that the game appears to be balanced around players who haven't discovered the two-finger clicking technique. I'd love to see some more challenging stages that punish this technique by forcing you to move the mouse and click on specific things. Congrats on releasing your first game! You saw it through and made something charming and fun.

Finger cramps. Cool art. Moody atmosphere. This game has a lot of potential. I'd love to see at least a few of the upgraded guys in the front, otherwise you're hiding your art.

Love this artwork!! And my wrist hurts now from mashing the spacebar but my dark cult survived so I think thats a win

I think the Poison was good against the healers and Attack against the Dragons or Knights. Not sure and then obviously the the Regen for healing. Really amazing game, especially for your 1st game! Awesome work. My arm is burning from rapidly mashing my space bar.

Thanks so much for checking it out!

I'm a bit confused by what are the different options, I guess more damage, more health an poison maybe?

Anyway, the game looks amazing, that's what made me try it :-D

A great first project, good job!

Developer

Thanks! You pretty much got it with what the different options were, attack, healing and poison. As the game was so simple wanted to leave that a bit of a mystery so that it would hopefully encourage more experimentation from the player.

Such cute art!! Love the art, but it's a little bit repetitive

Love those little guys! Simple and clean. Well done!

I really like the concept and the game is pretty! In my run though, I see no reason to pick anything other than attack and just steamrolled through the game - I wish there was more strategy involved.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.
