Ohh Yeah! Cool concept, and a funny one. The art and the ending screen are really good. GJ!
Ohh Yeahhh
Simple, funne game with a whole bunch of pizzaz! Love all the art you've drawn for this, and it always felt extremely satisfying to transform into an absolute gigachad at the end of every level. Great game, especially for a first one!
Very funy game! Nice art, good job!
Not the biggest fan of auto scrollers but that's personal preference. I love the art and theming! GG
Very good, especially for your first game! I love the theme and styling for your game. If I had one bit of feedback to give, it'd be that it'd be nice if there was some visual indicators for which parts of the level are platforms you can walk on and which ones are just decoration. Sometimes it was hard for me to tell. Good job!
Very impressed this is your guys' first game jam! It was very funny to level up my player haha and the art was really cool! I was going to suggest the camera pan be a little faster bc I was waiting around in LV1, but the game picked up pretty quickly and I was so grateful it wasn't faster TT. Good job!
If only it was that easy in real life 😭. love the aesthetics. Though the collisions are a bit janky especially not knowing what you can climb on top of.
Fun idea - some of the trial and error was a little tiring with the combinations of items to pick up.
The jump felt unreliable and the camera following the players height needs to be smoothed as its is quite jarring.
It wasn't clear what I could and could not jump on so it made the platforming more a trial and error type of thing.
The art is great and the quick restarts were nice too
Well done one completing your first jam ❤️
Love the style and visuals, the only issue I have with the game is that it was often not very clear what was a background item and an item I could jump on. I would change this by either making the background darker or less saturated. Great job for your first game btw!
Oh yeah! Funny game with great graphics!
Really had to say creativity is on next level in this game ! Awesome work by the dev! Had so much fun while playing it. Cheers
OHH YEAH!
Brilliantly well done! Can't believe this is a first game! Really reminds me of Douchebag Life for some reason haha. Very creative and well though out.
Ohh Yeah!
havent seen this idea, really original!
ahhaha why was he getting bald? One punch man reference or something lol
Was fun to play GG
We tried to put as much stereotypes as possible :') Happy to hear it :) !
Loved the vibe and charm of the game! I think the music choice and graphics actually fit idea very well!
As people have stated I do think the camera scroll could be a bit faster at times, at others it was good enough. One idea I give you is make the scroll speed dynamic, as in if the player gets to close to the right side, make is faster! Also if you wanna make platformers again, Tarodev on Youtube has a video explaining common platformer mechanics and how to implement them in code, maybe it could give you ideas for your own character controllers in the future ^^
Great work, keep it up!
Thank you :) !
Yes a camera update is probably the best recommandation to improve this game.
For the scroll, as we said on an other comment, we had some issues while exporting from Godot and it affects camera depending on your browser and depending the use of GPU/acceleration on browser or not, sadly.
Simple but fun! I like the art and the choice of music/sounds. Maybe the camera could scroll a bit faster for an extra challenge?
Nice entry. Definetely a very good entry for first timers :)
I really like the Art. The design of the chad protagonist and the OH YEAH really had me laughing haha
Thank you !! A pleasure to read this :) ! We will do better !
