An interesting game!
We both went with a similar concept, so it was really nice to see the huge differences in execution.

I often ended up with no dice left, so the game might need a bit more loot, by apart from that it was fun to play.
(possible bug: when restarting, my inventory remained empty, soft locking me in lvl 1)

The ennemies' designs and dungeon dice-walls are really great, it gives this game a unique identity!

Good job, it's a nice submission! =)

Definitely a lot of random stuff going on. Rolling for attack, rolling for loot... it surely fits the theme. I like design of the enemies. Especially the snake with dice eyes.

Art looks nice

loved the art in this game! Super nostalgic feeling of Newgrounds Flash games, in the best way possible. I especially like the animation of rolling at the start of the game.

Mechanically I like the concepts. Clearly there's the ground work here for much more depth and new features, and I hope you keep working on it after the jam. At it's surface though, I like the idea of managing a small resource pool that's constantly being replenished.

great visuals and presentation!

Gorgeous animation for a game jam game, but I agree with the comments that gameplay can feel too random and lacking in player interaction. It's a bit frustrating when I try to take dice from the chest and it doesn't work correctly for one reason or the other. This is still a very impressive game though and I did enjoy my dungeon crawl. Great job!

Beautiful game! The animation on the title screen, rolling the initial dice, destroying the enemies. The entire thing feels great!

I did notice that if I rolled a healing dice + a damage dice and killed the enemy I wouldn't be healed at all. Other then that I didn't encounter any bugs.

Really fun game! I'd love to see it expanded upon!

The animation is absolutely amazing. It really felt like you didn't have much control as a player, you're esentially just watching the player go through and clicking a few buttons but it feels quite disconnected.

Good game!

Holy macaroni how'd you guys do all that animation in 48 hours?!? The game is really fun and the art style is even better! One suggestion I'd give is that when the player runs out of dice maybe make it easier to get attack dice again?

The idea is great, the animation is amazing.

But I think the UX can be better.

The animations are wonderful! The dice in the inventory need some better presentation to show when they're better than other dice in their category. (I'd have dice that could roll 6, 12, or 18 … but they all appear exactly the same until I hover my mouse.) The constant sense of risk and reward is a lot of fun, this could easily be expanded into an elaborate game.

This looks phenomenal, and plays really well. Great work all around. Only thing i noticed is if i put dice in my slots after winning a battle and then moved on, then they would disappear.

great visuals. cool entry!

Very good entry. The art and animation looks amazing, the music sounds great aswell. The take on the theme is very unique. Great work

Fun! Leaves you wanting more. If you leave dice in your play area after receiving loot they disappear,  might be intentional to limit carry capacity, but you might want to lock the spaces instead.

Awesome visuals! Really reminded me of the old Newgrounds days.
