Very nice core mechanic but not intuitive to understand the first time. It took me two games to realize the movement was based on what die face you wanted down. After figuring this out it became a reasonable game. My one issue is that if you do loose track of what die faces are on your sides, you have no way of figuring it back out without loosing hive health. There is no way to logic your way there making it a little less of a puzzle and more a test of spatial memory. Thus, the game is enjoyable but easily frustrating. Perhaps adding in a limited ability to display moves as the tutorial did would help. The visuals and music are top notch however, extra points for doing them yourselves as well.
Good art and soundtrack, just all round a really well made game.
Dunno about hiding the numbers, while you can easily guess the bottom side of the die, its definitely easy to lose track to the sides.
Gorgeous art and awesome soundtrack. However, I really didn't manage to play as my brain couldn't figure out which number is what direction xD
I get that it's part of the gameplay, but I personally enjoyed it much more during the tutorial stages when it showed the numbers for each direction.
Still, an easy 5/5 for presentation!
Interesting puzzle mechanics. Definitely deceptively more difficult that it appears on the surface, but controls really well. Excellent overall presentation. Well done!
The music was so calming and beautiful! The visuals were adorable. I did have to get a physical dice to figure it out the movement, but it was a cute take on the theme.
Loved the unique concept of the game, The presentation is also really good, the visuals were really good too, great work all in all
Interesting cross between soothing and agonizing, haha! Very unique concept executed competently.
Cool concept! The visuals were really good...
Wow, quite interesting and creative idea, liked the game
Absolutely an interesting take on this year's jam theme, with solid aesthetics to go along with the gameplay. Sound design in this game is great! I will say, however, that once the number indicators were taken away I found myself completely unable to control the die. I do understand that this is a core element of the game's difficulty, but I found it to often be frustrating to control more than anything else.
Yeah, that's pretty much exactly what I said too xD
I too was lost the moment they took away the indicators, and I think it would've been more fun with them, even though that'll take away the main "thing"
Beautiful! Loved the graphics.
Felt like my brain turned to ice cream trying to move the hive, but once you grasp it it's a cool idea.
Very nice presentation too! :)
I struggled a bit to move the hive, losing a couple of match because I didn't understand the goal :D anyway well done!
Love the idea! Took me a few seconds to figure out but when I had it, it was a blast. Combined with that beautiful art it is a great game!
Took a while for me to figure out the moving mechanic, but was enjoyable!
The only way I can play this is by holding a real die, and even then I find it difficult. But I really like the music!
It is a really interesting concept, which is surprisingly difficult! Without looking at a real die it's quite difficult to remember the sides. Love the look and sound of the game. It also feels very polished.
I really enjoyed the art and chill vibe in this game. I think we all need something like that after these 2 stressful days. The controls are a little bit hard to get, but it is a great game!
Very Good Game !!! Well done but hard for someone who don't know the dicemap like me.
It´s mind catching and tricky. Once you think you got the trick, it shows mind forgot dicemap again. :D
