very cool entry! the multiple phases really made this game click. i liked being able to gather up my parts when i lost. the assembly phase was very very cool. especially since your design gets put into the battles. well done all around!
Very fun game! Good voice acting and character art and the enemy difficulty was just right I think. While I could use the same strategy across all four maps, the slightly different layout did force me to make sure I kept an eye around my surroundings to make sure I did not box myself in somewhere. Great job!
Had a blast with the voice acting! It added so much life to the game! Also the character art was awesome.
There's a couple of rough edges regarding difficulty (I found it almost effortlessly easy) but it was still fun to beat! the build mechanic is really interesting!
I also liked the map design, how you start off in some hockey field looking area and then as you start winning go into bigger areas.
Really well done!
Wow! Nice game! Really fun and interesting!
This was a fun game. Very original. Very fun and I love the voice acting and art.
Great game! It's quite well made for such a short span of time. The gameplay is a bit repetitive, with you spamming weapons in order to win. However, it's a game I could see being on sale as a solid indie-game with just a bit more work and time.
Even with your team size, I was impressed by how well everything was made, such as the artwork for example. It also felt very coherent despite all the people involved.
I appreciate taking the time participating in the Godot Wild Jam and allowing us to experience your cool work!
Interesting idea.
Reminds me Street Fighter and other stuff on 8/16-bit consoles.
Definitely a lot of content and weapon variations.
Maybe adding some stats and info to them (or overall for the robot) would make it more obvious.
And also adding predefined slots (kind of a limiting thing) but might make the robot`s parts to look more integrated and not standing out.
Good job!
The amount of content in this game jam is quite impressive with voice acting, different character portraits, and four levels. I quite liked experimenting with different parts and fighting from range.
This is awesome! Reminds me a bit of Fabular with the top-down mech battling. I think this might be the first jam game I've ever seen that was fully voice-acted, which is pretty impressive given the timeframe. I appreciate the short little scenes between winning/losing fights, that's a nice touch!
I think the actual combat can feel a bit bad though, especially when you are fighting a lot of enemies. There gets to be a lot of visual noise on screen, and there isn't a lot of feedback when you take or deal damage.
Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback. We'll definitely work on boosting game-feel next time.
Nice game! Got a kick out of just slapping whatever pile of parts I wanted on it. Looks and sounds good, too!
Art, voice acting and UI are all definitely pog, have to agree!! Love the customization feature of building your own mech! I enjoyed having 5 or 6 pairs of legs, a shotgun and missiles strapped to my dude in battle.
My only comment for feedback would be that during combat it felt like I was hovering over the map rather than in it, whether something like a shadow or higher res background could reduce that feeling I'm not sure but otherwise a fantastic game!! Great job!!
nice game great art and voice actors Pog

One of the best games i have played in this jam
I wish if I could have it on my pc, I would definitely play it every day. Absolutely AMAZING.Really nice work !
That is about the highest praise we could receive. Thanks!
We'll see about getting those downloadable exports to work after the ratings period.
What a nice and fun entry! Loved what you did with the theme and overall it feels very polished for only 9 days!! You clearly work well together as a team.
Thanks. I think you're right about working as a team. I can't think of any major drama, just a bunch of people getting down to work and pulling many late nights.
Another solid entry! Congrats. The most impressive for me was:
- Some aspects of the presentation really feel polished.
- Voice acting in a jam? Wow
Unironically this is one of my favorite games posted here. Truly amazing work for the timeframe. I had a ton of fun slapping multiple shotguns on my mech and charging into battle. Also voice acting. This is a real gem from the jam.
Holy crap, this game is amazing. It felt a lot like Vampire Survivors with your own touch to it. I have no clue how you managed to create all this with the time provided but amazing work from everyone!
Did have some audio issues when loading between each fight and had a bug where adjusting the sounds in setting then instantly returning back to the main menu broke for a second. But other than that, this game is amazing and would love to see this out there someday if you plan on working on this further!
was pretty fun gameplay loop & customization!
The cutscenes and voice acting were quite charming. I really liked the character portraits. Game was pretty fun, though a bit too meat-spongey for me. Found myself walking and kiting for longer than I'd like. This was most apparent the second stage where the bullet spread enemy is introduced. I still had little damage output and its burst forced me into a more cowardly kite pattern (or I suck). The ranged upgrades were underwhelming in comparison to the can opener, or at least that was my first impression based on the immediate burst from the can opener. Did love me some can-opener - who knows... I've never been good at meta-gaming so if there's a more busted strat for stacking I'd probably miss it. Was just more fun to charge in instead of kite. It was entertaining to attach a plethora of items and become a monstrosity! Not sure the dash made much of a difference. The change in music and environments was a pleasant surprise to keep it feeling fresh throughout. I can tell a lot went into this :) Great job!
