Impressive art, VFX and animations (except the gadgets shop!). Fun gameplay with good difficulty curve and different enemies. Although the slam location and it's radius was not that obvious to me and hitting enemies in the left border was a little hard due to the hammer changing to a mouse. Very nice game btw, well done guys!

Developer(+1)

that's one of those things i thought was too much initially and and decided to make it smaller, you can upgrade the slam radius though which helps a little bit

Great game! So much juice and I thought the UI design where you could leave the playing field to upgrade was very elegantly done. Making different elements and metals into the enemies has a lot of potential in terms of cute characters!

Great original idea and as many have already pointed out, super polished and juicy! It's a very intuitive game that doesn't need a tutorial, which is something I usually struggle with (I tend to make games with an initially steep learning curve). Very impressive and inspiring! I had fun playing.

I found myself pleasantly thinking "THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM"! Kudos!

Really original take on the theme! And as people pointed out, very juicy and polished for such a short time frame, well done!

This was a really fun game! I loved the art and the animation of ores. At times I thought it was a little difficult to actually hit what I was intending to hit. Disabling pixel perfect seemed to help some with that, but it still was difficult, especially once I had 15-20 upgrades. I also loved the sound effects you implemented. They fit the playfulness of the enemies/ores well! Great game and really well polished!

Amazingly well polished game for a Game Jam. The art, feel, and enemy variaty are all there already. Was a lot of fun to play :)

SO JUICY! MUST... RELEASE... MY INNER RAGE... HIT ROCK... DIE ROCK. Received a good rating from me. 10/10 :))

Pretty apparent how to play, liked the look and feel! Was a little uncertain why the hammer missed some, but enjoyed being able to buy upgrades!

I like it a lot, very fun

My only real critique is that sometimes it's hard to tell if the hammer will hit the ore or not based on placement/swing, and every so often I had to look away to let my eyes rest/reset for a second from all the bouncing.  The polish is fantastic, and the mechanic to move off the stage temporarily to pick a powerup/gadget instead of pausing the game is such great design.  Well done!

honestly i was worried with doing upgrades like that because i found it hard to design it so you cant just go slightly off the stage and then hit them, so im glad it was worth it and i think i found a good balance between it

Submitted(+1)

Oh I definitely tried to cheese it like that a few times, but it's harder than expected- so, well done with the balance.

Just phenomenal work with this one. The idea was executed brilliantly. Even without descriptions, it easily became apparent what each individual ore did, everything was so readable.

Really fun! The background and effects remind me of Balatro!

Great submission. The polish and game feel is excellent, and it was very easy to learn through playing.

I made it to level 10, it was fun and I think it was a good decision to make the movement with the cursor, it had a nice feel :). Good Job.

This is fun.  I don't feel like I have time to read the upgrades so I just select them by random.  It serves me well.  Lots of fun with this one :)
