i really liked the vibe of your game, very unique

Overall I really like this! The ambience is super cool and I love the layout of the game. I think the audio is very well done too. I ran into a bug on day 4 though. Polis was marked as enemy territory on the map but the game apparently though it was friendly. I lost points because I marked a supply drop as "enemy" and a bombing on Polis as "friendly". I swear I tried to find the last frequency for day 4 but it wasn't there.

The gameplay does get really repetitive especially as you're forced to wait the whole day for these radio transmissions. It would be cool to see another element of the game come in, or perhaps making the game shorter. I did really enjoy reading the newspaper articles, especially about the cabbages. lol

Brilliant! Very well put together! I included it in my livestream:

I rate this highly. Super good.

What a cool game, very unique, I was glad to see the handbook be accessible during game play, and I also appreciate the game decoding the morse for the player.

The only thing I would like to see changed is the ability to flip back to previous unsigned entries in the log book. I was hoping to be able to focus on catching the transmissions and then determining if they were friendly or not, but I guess that adds some time pressure to the player.

Cool game! I always find it fascinating when you people come up with game ideas that I would never come up with!

It was a bit hard to understand the rules of the game. I thought a 04 on enemy territory must be enemy trying to fool us, but I was incorrect there for instance.

The dead time between transmissions was a bit long. Not sure how to design around that dilemma though!

Not sure the on/off switch for the radio did any good. I missed a transmission because I thought the radio was on day2 :)

Nice looks and audio, and to me it was quite original. Well done!

Thank you for the kind words! Building the rules of the game to be fun enough, whilst not overly complicated, was tricky to balance around game jam timelines, and I definitely agree the dead time between transmissions could be refined! There were (as usual) a lot of ideas that couldn't be built in the time we had, but thanks for playing :)

There's a lot to like about this! The artwork is great and the radio is fun to play around with (I especially like the fact you can tune into radio stations and listen to music while you wait for a transmission). I also like how the territory map changes as the war progresses. The Papers, Please inspiration is clear and it's very well executed overall - definitely a game I'd like to come back to!

Thank you, I really appreciate this! Papers, Please was a massive inspiration for this but I think the danger of making a potentially menial-task-driven game for a game jam is something I only thought about afterwards.
