Whoa, this is art.
The UI. The theme. The graphics. The sound. Amazing all around.
Sound and Graphics are immaculate. Great game!
Really cool game! Beautiful art and aesthetics
Got 30 levels high, top polished game!
I could see this get really good if you could somehow add a litte bit more complexity, maybe building to the sides? Having the tower to be "balanced", not to lean to heavy on one side?
Maybe buildings are cheaper when build on the same level (but you get the same bonus) idk, to get "steamrolling" later on.
Once I got two of the same bonus cards to choose from, that should probably not be that way.
Loved your idea, good fit of the Tower Theme.
Absolute adorable graphics, lots of animated mice, relaxing soundtrack, super sound effects.
I absolutly love everything of your UI, the visuals and sounds etc. also the hints for the player
Absolutly amazing that you could do this in just 9 days on your own. Respect!!!
You might win the GWJ#73
I build 22 levels the first time. Really polished game, enjoyed it quite a bit. The difficulty was quite low, a little more danger would make it even more fun.
I love how polished this game is. You really nailed the game feel. Everything was so cohesive.
It’s absolutely amazing! I mean… absolutely! The graphics, the gameplay, and everything else is well-rounded and complements one another.
The game feels complete but also has a lot of potential for expansion. Best luck in the contest and beyond!
That game was so much fun. For me a 10/10 game
Love the art style (and enjoyed your in progress shots on discord). This feels really well polished and has really fun touches. I would have enjoyed it more if the time progression was clearer, or there was a way to pause (in the beginning in particular) I wanted to read what all the floors/effects did, but time was ticking on and I hit my first event before placing anything. My first run I hit 36 floors and thought it was a fun touch you added a banner for better than the Dev :)
Thank you very much for the review, Chippper, 36 this is a great result! The game really has some progression issues that I would love to fix in the future 😊
My favorite submission of the jam so far. I had a lot of fun playing, and I feel it can be expanded upon to create something very addictive and fun to play. Didn't run into any bugs.
31 floors is a great result! Thank you very much for the review 🙂
wonderful!! i love the sense of humor!
Thanks, I always try to put a creepy/funny tone in my projects 😄
This caught my eye when you posting in the discord and the finished game is really nice! extremely good vibes and very polished overall. My only wish is that I wouldn't get the same event on both cards, but seriously great work.
Man, I'm sorry! I had a solution in mind for this duplicate card issue, but with so many things in mind to implement, I ended up forgetting 😅 Thanks for the review, I'm happy you liked it!
Hey, it happens! I have a list of literally 50+ things I never got to by the deadline lol. The package as published is great and I hope you're proud 🤘
stunning. great visuals, great audio, amazing ambiance. surprisingly polished for a game jam! your submission is definitely amongst my top 5. my only complaint is that there is no endless mode!
Thanks for the review, I had plans to implement an endless mode, but I ended up giving up because I didn't know how the browser would behave with a very large number of floors/mice on the screen. Maybe in the future with more time to test 😁
I mean... this doesn't even look like a jam submission, the game feels and looks spot on!
My best was 37!
Great presentation, graphics are cohesive and very charming! The music fits the setting well and despite having a confusing gameplay at first, I ended up grasping it as I played. Good work!
Fun Game. I Got 31 Floor.
Your submissions always have such a lovely artstyle that rides the line between comfy and creepy. Nice work with the squash and stretch / bobbing to give movement.
There is a really cool game loop here, since you want to grow the tower higher, but also want to keep it somewhat “dangerous” to keep a solid income. That back and forth made the game surprisingly complex!
I do wish there was more variety to the events, and that when events did occur there was a check to make sure that the 2 options were different rather than the same - as I had that occur a few times.
Thank you so much for the detailed review and your kind words LGWV!
I definitely should have fixed this duplicate card issue, I thought of a solution, but with so much on my mind I ended up forgetting 😅
Really awesome game, especially the graphics! The only thing I'd like to see changed is adding an infinite mode so I could just keep going up and up instead of running out of time.
Thanks for the review michld, I had plans to implement an endless mode, but I ended up giving up because I didn't have time to test how the performance would be in the browser after a certain amount of floors/mice. Maybe in the future 😁
The rat king conquerors all!
really nice approach, love the graphics and the sound!
Oh feck, I want to build a 10000km high tower for these cute rats!
well done! Love this game!
Thank you for the review and kind words Roughnight, I'm happy you liked it!😁
