A silly little game where you make silly little medicines for silly little creatures. and I like that!
I did have issues seeing just exactly what the book wanted me to do sometimes, specifically the cutting board was very hard to see for me. Some feedback on certain things would be appreciated too. I thought I had broken it when I tried crafting a pill and nothing happened, but I just had the recipe wrong. It also seems prone to giving you the same ailments on the same critters twice or even thrice in a row. (Maybe I just have bad luck)
The office looks great, all of your art is so cute! The book's ailments and cures are... unexpectedly suggestive.
Nice work! I like this one!
Controls don't really feel intuitive and when I went to craft it felt really bugged
A neat relaxing medicine making game! Although, the medicine instruction are a bit vague for me, like recipe that require chopping or crushing but at 1st I didn't know that I had to put them into the machine after that. That being said, I love the illness you made, its quite fantastically unique, Great job!
This is really creative, love seeing all the "illness" you've came up with. Models are really cutely made, and I love the BGM made for this.
The instruction in the guidebook is a little vague. Based on the icons, I didn't know what I needed to do after chopping/grinding the ingredients. That image you had in your itch.io page description clarified it for me, maybe you can add that into the game itself, either that or show a 3rd icon to put into the pillmaker after chopping/grinding.
Please dive further into the inspection part of this game if you ever decide to expand this. It is such a cool idea to be able to rotate your patients around and inspect them of the symptoms of their illnesses before giving them a correct cure. As of now, the illnesses are a little too obvious to identify.
I really like this entry, it has so much potential for something amazing! Thanks for making this!
Fun game with cute 3D models. One small recommendation would be to allow the 3D model to continue to spin after releasing while still moving the mouse. I just wanted to spin the Takodachi really fast lol!
Uh, you are right, that would have been fun
And a big thank you for playing!
Chill and entertaining recipe-following game. I feel like I lack context for half the references but I can tell they're there. The patient likes to rotate even with the mouse clicks on other buttons/objects, which doesn't cause problems but can be a bit annoying.
Thank you for playing!
And yeah, the descriptions are more like in jokes than descriptions.
We kinda lacked the time to give more thouthg to it, but happy to hear you still had fun!
For feedback I would request curating some of the RNG. Two examples that affected me: (1) I had consecutive cases, the same type of fan with the same condition, I thought it was bugged until the 3rd time it happened. (2) Also, in a fairly long game, I still had not encountered all diseases. Nearly an hour in, my statline read: patients 23, cured 45, identified stuck at 8/10.
Otherwise, a very satisfying game loop.
Additional notes, I liked the sound design, except the pill maker’s was so subtle I thought it was random radio static. And not sure if intentional design, but multiple ailments treated by the same pill would only cure one ailment at a time. So I am immediately doubling their dosage, with no regard to contraindications, and that’s a slam dunk malpractice suit just begging to happen.
Thank you for playing!
Yeah, we had a few discussions about the order and probability of diseases appearing, I'm also not happy with how it is right now.
I would say in this praxis is a doubled dose the least of our concerns
Fun game!
One little thing is the tiniest movement on my mouse wheel would skip over several recipes in the book and made it a bit difficult to navigate. Otherwise I like the environment and the models! Fun and addicting game!
Thank you for playing our little game!
Glad you liked it.
Loved the idea, it's like those games we spend hours on, like Gas Station Simulator and that one where you manage a market :D.
Nice job.
Thank you, glad you liked it!
This is a relaxing and comfy little game. The models look nice, the flavor text for the diseases is charming and its clear which one is which by looking at the patient. My only real issue with it is that the recipe screenshots are a bit unclear. I think using a picture of the actual model instead of a screenshot of it in the game environment would work so much better and make it a lot clearer.
Thank you for playing and glad you liked it!
And thank you for your feedback, it's stuff like this that's obvious to the ones making it, so good to hear it from one playing it.
Nice game!
The modeling work is great and the concept is fun. Nice comfy "job simulator" type of game, but I wouldn't mind some kind of timer or some additional layer to put pressure or an additional twist in the game. References are nice and fit the game concept!
Thank you for playing the game!
Yeah, we had a few ideas for failure conditions but because of a lack of time we settled on a simple job simulator.
Interesting take on the corruption theme.
Cute 3d models and interesting choices for the ailments and their descriptions. XD
I don't know if intended or a bug, but patients don't get cured from each ailment as they're given the corresponding medicine. It would be nice if there was this kind of feedback so you can track what you've already treated.
Also, I don't know what the number at the top of the screen means. I played until 7/10 and got a patient with 4 ailments at once lol.
Very enjoyable game.
The number at the top are the different diseases you cured, there are 10 in total.
Yeah the feedback is quite lacking.
Nevertheless, big thank you for playing the game, makes us really happy!
That was really fun. I had fun trying to associate the illnesses with the visual look. and I do enjoy a crafting minigame.
Thanks for playing the game, good to hear you enjoyed your time with it.
