The idea that standing on a different color rotator makes the same colors rotating is interesting. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for playing(:3
Very fun but very hard ! The visuals are really nice & the fact that absolutely everything rotate is just amazing.
I think one thing that could be beneficial to the game would be some some static platforms mid level with a checkpoint on it so that you don't have to go through the whole level when you fall. (but totally ok not to have that for a jam)
All in all a very solid game for 48h. Great work :)
Hey thank you so much! Yeah, I'm planning to go back really soon to implement a few things including check points. I'm glad you liked it!
Nice platformer
Thanks!
I liked how you applied the rotation theme to every aspect of the game! Really well executed and de sound design was really good too.
I'm not sure if it's my computer (or my poor jumping skills haha) but I found it hard to be precise with jumps.
Hey thanks for playing! Yeah I need to polish the movement and jumps a bit.
The overall combination of graphics and sound is excellent. The change of the platform position according to the play makes the play colorful.
Hey thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed(:3
I really liked the concept of the game but for some reason it was not working correctly on my computer: the wheel kept stuttering a lot when I was moving it. Like If I hold W and then pressed Space, it would stop moving forward and only jumped in place. Sometimes it randomly stopped moving even if I didn't press space too. I died many times pressing jump just a moment after leavnig the platforms and it made me very frustrated haha, so if you implemented coyote timer it would be great. Checkpoints too. But overall, it was a nice game!
Hey thanks for playing! I ran into the stuttering issue a couple of times if I had a controller connected and tried to play on keyboard or if I had multiple controllers connected. I'm going to get a little deeper into the controls to work out the kinks a little later. Thanks for the feedback!
Ohh, it makes sense, I have a controller attached! Will try to play again
Yeah, that was the problem! Its a very different game using the controller haha, so much better! Now I was able to beat the two level. The idea of only moving the platforms when you are on them, and connecting them with other parts of the level made it very unique and interesting, great job!
Nice! I'm glad!
Wow..Great game..lovely concept :)
Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it(:3
Really interesting ideas here, the further I played the more impressed I was with the level design.
This game definitely would have benefited from checkpoints, and as others have said coyote time. The camera was also wildly fast, but a few unity games I've played for this jam have been like that and no one else seems to be commenting on it so it may be on my end
Hey thank you so much! I'm not sure about the camera speed but I'll play around with the settings.
The idea is pretty unique! The others have commented as well about the requirement of coyote time, because it's hard to judge distances and jumps in 3d. The alternative simple fix would be to just make the colliders of the platform bigger than they appear to be, and the same goes to the player. Other than that, pretty solid game!
Hey thank you for playing and for the tips!
Very fun little game! It felt very satisfying to try and speedrun it by jumping over certain platforms to skip them. If only the game had a little more tight controls it would be perfect.
For something like the jumping I'd implement a "ghost" jump like they did in Mario. Don't make the player jump from a pixel-perfect surface, but add like 100ms or something of being able to jump after you've touched a surface. It might seem like cheating, but it'll make the game feel a lot more fun to play I think.
Overall super well done though! Great use of the theme. Well done!
Thank you for playing and for the advice!
Very addicting game. Took me 800 seconds to get through both levels, but now I feel I could do them first try. Seems very speedrun-able.
Some times the jumping felt like it was not registering as I was running out the platform, probably because I was out of the platform for a few frames before pressing the jumping button. I think the Celeste devs talked about a way they used to combat that feeling
And it all worked great with the theme. Good job!
Hey thanks for playing! I'll check that out. There are a few things I want to tighten up and the controls are definitely one of them. Thanks again!
Fun solid game, visuals look great too. It took me some practice to get used to the jump and velocity, but after that the game flows.
Hey thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it (:3
Hello, I just played your game.
I really liked the beautiful and colorful scenery.
It goes very well with the rotation theme.
the background music is very good and pleasant and the sound jump makes the game more fun.
I found it a little difficult to get to the platform, it falls 60 times on timer 744.
It's very good! your game i hope you will continue with the updates until the vote ends^
Hey! Thank you so much for playing! I would like to iterate on this in the future and adjust the ramp-up of the difficulty.
Cool design, I enjoyed this game. Gamepad support is +1.
Thank you so much for playing! Yeah, I'm a true believer of gamepads for games lol.
Bombastic implementation fo the Theme! Very cheerful Music and Art, got addicted to Speedrun the Levels xD
Btw. Speedrunners Highscore Table when? ;D
Hey! Thank you so much for playing. I would love to have a Highscore table. lol I have to figure out how to implement that.
Woah, cool game! The way everything was rotating as you stepped on the different platforms was really cool, it kept me thinking on my feet and I loved watching that little wheel roll around. My only suggestion would be please add a checkpoint! I finally beat level 1 but it was a struggle, haha. Reminded me of the Alt+F4 game, including the music!
Hey! Thank you so much for playing. Yeah, I ran out of time for checkpoints but I think I'll come back and add them in among other things.
This is a tough little platformer! It took me a moment to catch the mechanic with the platform colors controlling rotation for the tubes of the same shade. Nice work!
Hey thanks for playing!
The game is nice, the jump is a bit buggy, it's better to jump then move than jump when moving.
I'd love that the level was a bit shorter, damn, I wanted to finish at least the first level but dying too far made me rajkit :D.
I really like it tho, a funny experience in the them, good job!
Yeah, I would like to tighten up the controls a bit more. Thanks for playing.!
Very Nice! Love having rotation in many parts of the game and controls. Jumping was a bit buggy.
Thank you so much for playing!
Loved the game, on par with the theme! I liked how the platforms and tunnels react when you are jumping, and how you have to be strategic and keep them in the correct position. The only problem I had was on the second level I jumped in a tunnel that was not inclined enough to make the next jump and I could not turn the camera so I can safely jump back to correct it. Nice work!
Hey! Thank you so much. I'll take a look at that pipe.
