This game was simply incredible! The sound design alone is outstanding, let alone the art! I loved the "Gotcha!" sound effect whenever you hooked a UFO, and I love how you're fishing UFOs as well, that's such a brilliant interpretation.

Honestly, my only issue is that the hook felt somewhat slow, but that's pretty minor. Solid 10/10 game for me!

Nicely done! This was fun and looks simply amazing.

Man, this game is so polished for being developed in three days...

The artstyle is awesome, the music fits perfectly and the gameplay is really fun!

Very very fitting!

Super fun game! Visual and audio was great. Really like variety. Would have preferred to see more response/quick boat and hook. Well done.

Incredibly fun, audio design is perfect. Only jam game I've ever given all 5 stars, but I think it's very well deserved. I did encounter a bug where the fishing line stopped updating and the enemy flew away without taking damage, which left me waiting until timer ran out since I couldn't cast again, but apart from that, great job! :>

Developer

Hi! I'm really glad you liked it!!!
Sorry for the bug, i'm conscious of it but testing everything during the development is really hard ^^"
Thanks again for the kind review!

For a game made in a week-end by one person this looks very professional well done!

I like the hook physics and the feedback is great when you catch something.

Overall a fun play!

Yo, that was epic! The designs are really cool and give that gameboy vibe although some of them not corresponding with the palette. The "gotcha" sound effect sounds REALLY as something that would sound in an arcade machine. The small fights are also a big YES for this game, as they have the epic music on it that sounds like something that would play when fighting against some important game-boss. My only complaint is the sound effect for the score, it's kinda odd, but the rest is pretty awesome!

this was awesome! great design, great art & great music. the menu button select was a nice touch :)

Great blend of concept, art and choice of music. Original and with a good challenge. I had a little bug tho and couldn't shoot my hook anymore at some point..!

Submitted(+1)

That's an hella cool of a game! Bullet hells are always fun, and you made it really interesting here. I had a bit of a hard time figuring what part of the boat should not get hit, but that's all
Using the menu as a tutorial is big brain tho

As usual a amazing entry! I love me a good bullet hell. So much care, detail, and polish too. Having an opening and Adaptive soundtrack, so much extra detail that wraps everything up in a amazing bow. I did encounter a bug once however, where I got kinda soft locked, I got the fish but the hook never came back. Easy fix was to restart the game hehe. Also is the hook was kinda hard to aim, always felt lower than I aimed, even at full charge, that just took some adaptation tho so was no big deal. really minor issues tbh.

Seriously amazing entry congrats! (that GOTCHA sound effect is so many levels of perfect)

Hahaha the Gotcha fx is my own voice echoed XDD, Sorry if you found a bug in the game, i will be playing to see if I can reproduce it!
Thanks for the feedback and for the review! <3

Jez, it's dope! Style, gameplay, it's all good. If your made it for a 72 hours - you totally cool.

This game is really good for a 72 hour jam, the art is great and the concept is an interesting one

Very original idea and nice art! congratulations!

Developer

Many thanks!

This looks really polished! I loved the art, catching different types of UFOs is fun and the music fits the gameplay really well.

Really fun game with simple mechanics. Love the soundtrack!

I never imagined that catching UFOs would be more fun than catching fish.

Anyway, this was an unexpected combination. The game is very sophisticated. My score was 2168. I would like to see more UFOs.

Developer(+1)

I'm REEEALLY glad that your only "complaining" with the game is that you want more xD <3

Everything about this game is amazing! from the soundtrack to the gameplay, it's just fun to play. The level of polish is really astonishing, especially for such a short game jam! I enjoyed it! :)
