Description
Oh No! Your buddy has fallen into a coma, and he only has 24 hours to live before his bootleg life support gives out! The only way to save him is to dive into his mind in an attempt to find his consciousness and wake him up!

Enchanted Blue:

Upon entering your friend's mind (his name's Eric, by the way), the first area you find is the part that represents creativity and childlike wonder, which takes the form of the city where you both grew up. His obsession with the ocean and marine life is immediately visible, as not only is the city partially flooded, but fish drift through the air around you as though it were water. The flooded city's water level steadily rises over time (likely a physical manifestation of your deadline), the effect of which is compounded by the city's constantly shifting layout.

BIG FISH:

(TW: light profanity)

This area represents Eric's ego, in both the psychological and colloquial meaning of the term. This is a much more abstract zone than the flooded city, but it contains more direct representations of Eric's sense of self, such as oversized statues of him. This area contains the manifestation of Eric's ego, which is eager to gloat about its many successes in the field of marine biology, but you're looking for the manifestation of Eric's consciousness (a totally different thing), so this is just another distraction. This manifestation doesn't even seem capable of processing the possibility of its own death.
Lyrics:

(OK, SOMEONE BRING THE BEAT BACK...)

SMALL POND, I'M A BIG FISH

SEE ALL THIS WATER, I GOT DRIP

INVINCIBLE, YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS

WHEN IT GOES DOWN, I DON'T JUMP SHIP

(UH) CALL ME A SHARK 'CAUSE THIS FLOW NEVER STOPS

BIG FISH, I GOT ORCAS FOR OPPS

RISE LIKE A BUBBLE BUT I NEVER POP

DRIP OR DROWN, WE GON' FLOAT TO THE TOP

BE IT LAND, SEA, SKY, YEAH YOU KNOW I'M LOOKING FLY

I'M JUST CHILLING 'CAUSE YOU KNOW I'M THAT GUY

TOP OF THE WORLD, I DON'T EVEN GOTTA TRY

AND I KNOW I'M SO COOL THAT I'M NEVER GONNA-

NAH FUCK THAT, I'M NOT DONE YET

GOT TOO MUCH STILL UNSAID

THIS MY WORLD, YALL JUST LIVING IN IT

NOTHING SCARED ME IN A DAMN HOT MINUTE

I'M WINNING.

ICE COLD, I'M CHILLING.

I'M SWIMMING IN ALL THAT MONEY, POWER, SUCCESS, FUN

I CAN'T QUIT WHEN I'VE JUST BEGUN

OK

I Remember You / Going Home:

"Everything looks so small from down here." "Doesn't it?" "..." "Maybe if we make it back to the surface, all our problems will be as small and insignificant as they look from here, and we can go after them together, one by one." "You still owe me 17 dollars." "Damn."

Enchanted Blue: The drum beat is a highlight for me throughout. I love the emphasis shifting to the bass and vibraphone in the second section. You explore many different watery vibes in this track which is really cool. Very nice selection of instruments throughout. The automation on some of the pad instruments makes me feel like coming in and out of lucidity. That saxophone is really nice! I remember some of your previous jam entries using saxophone, which isn’t really a common instrument used in these jams, but you use it so well!

Big Fish: The production quality is fantastic on this. There really aren’t that many entries that explore this type of internal emotion or that explore themes of egocentric cognition. Nicely written, performed, and produced. I am very impressed by this track!

I Remember You - Going Home: The piano at the beginning feels very drowned, but then the clarity with the drums and synths come in and seems to tie your story together. Very nice melody. I could listen to this looping all day!

Overall: The vibes from the start put me straight into your world and have me encapsulated in the underwater vibes. The unique twist on the types of inner world experiences you showcase sets your compositions apart from others. Your production quality is a standout feature that is consistent across all your music, and this is one of my favorites of your music yet! Excellent work - thank you for sharing!

Enchanted Blue is an insanely beautifully developing melody... When the bells were connected at the end and the effects became very noticeable, I felt movement around... HELP MY TABLE IS MOVING

BIG FISH - Wow... unexpected vocals... cool!

I Remember You / Going Home - I like this track... I like everything here, lol

Overall, an amazing job! Have interesting ideas, cool experiments and HELP MY TABLE MOVE!!1!

BIG FISH was easily the highlight for how unique it was compared to everything else I have heard!

Really really good entry!

Legit the most original entry I've heard yet. Fun, evocative and experimental. I like how sometimes it goes really near the eerie vibe but then it comes back. The sax on Enchanted Blue is fire!

Ths was such a fun album to listen to. I absolutely love your ideas and creativity especially for Big Fish. Vocals are warped and processed in the right way and the lyrics are awesome. Amazng job!!

One of the most creative approaches to the theme i have seen so far, I think you had so many really cool ideas and executed them brilliantly! I wish that the vocals on Big Fish were able to shine through a bit more, as you can definitely still get that  "underwater pushed away" effect it seems you were going for while having them be a bit more present in the mix, i think turning them up a bit might help but you might want to look elsewhere for advice beyond that if its something you agree with haha. Super good job tho! Had a smile on my face for the whole time i was listening to this.

Aaaaa What a highly creative entry. Bursting with ideas. The effects and instrument choices are very effective on evoking cerebral ocean, so great job. Big fish is indeed legendary and made me lol. Thanks for making and sharing.

Enchanted Blue: vibes. Jazzy scale degrees in the melody. Love that ending synth.

BIG FISH: Bro invented aqua trap lol. I love this! Lyrics are fun.

I Remember You / Going Home: Such cool chord changes towards the middle. Great synths. Lush soundscape.

Great work!

Return my boys 17 dollars tho, crazy work

The first track is really fun with all these instruments :) I liked all those crazy notes ^^

Fun track with the lyrics honestly! You might have fun doing it :D nice breakdown at the end!

The "You still owe me 17 dollars" "Damn" killed me x)

Hahaha, really creative combination of the picture and text themes. The second track got a good chuckle from me, props on adding entertaining lyrics that matches the story you're telling perfectly. The whole soundtrack was well composed with a lot of well explored musical ideas.

Very maximalist, lots of layers and a nice thick mix. My only complaint is that the drums get buried when all the instruments kick in,  such as the end of the first track and the middle of the third track. Not sure if it was intentional (sometimes people want to bury their drums), but if it wasn't you can u se a spectral compressor like Trackspacer or MSpectralDynamics to sidechain your drums to the rest of your mix, it will only suppress specific frequencies which helps jam as much content as possible into a dense mix.
