Description
This game is a story driven game that you can play on two different perspectives !

You'll be a soul growing as a bubble. And you'll experience the same story twice.
In your inside "bubble" world, and then on the outside !

This is just the concept haha ^^

Message from the artist
Hope you enjoy !

How does it fit the theme?
Theses themes inspired the concept I explained earlier.

O Universe/The Unibirth: Your use of effects next to your music is always done so well! The male vocals have a really unique sound that give this track a really unique character.

Out of Curiosity/Reflections: This has a very floaty sound which is perfect for your bubble world game! The soft bell arpeggios are my favorite part throughout. I love the sparse introduction of other instruments throughtout that add to the character of the track overall.

One Once One/Burst Into Worlds: This track has a whimsical sound to it that reminds me of Cap Kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey. It’s a fun variation on the “magic” vibe that seems to be a common sound theme in your soundtrack. Your harmonic choices are so interesting and for that reason this is my favorite of all your tracks! Love the long fade-out!

Odd Ode/Lonelibless: This is a very relaxing track and makes me think of being in a dark location illuminated by plants and flowers and you are the last bubble left and you are floating slowly through the dark cave tunnels wondering where everyone else is.

Overall: This is a very atmospheric soundtrack that uses sound effects and instrumentation to the fullest degree to create a rich and magical soundscape that definitely fits the bubble theme. Your quality is always so admirable. Wonderful job and thank you for sharing!

That's actually my voice on the first track, I was a bit hesitant but wanted to try out :) thank you.

I see the comparison your making with Cap Kingdom, there's definitely a vibe. I had a lot of fun doing this one !

I really like the picture you got from Lonelibless! Thanks a lot sharing it I love that :D

Appreciate the time you take for feedback and the nice words <3

Holy moly, that's your voice?! You blended it so well and as I mentioned, it is different from other synthetic voices we often hear and it makes the track stand out! I am super impressed! Even more than before!

Developer

Haha thank you so much, encouraging :)

wow!! the sound design here is lovely - super immersive and fun to listen to.  really tasteful mix of vocal/orchestral textures too! loved the little pops and storytelling throughout.  the harmonies are really beautiful too, all of those chord stacks sound amazing! bravo!

Thank you it means a lot after I had a crush on your submission :)

Excellent use of background effects to convey the setting. It works very well with the orchestration. Great work!

Super composition,

really nice use of sound effects, all of these tracks build up a beautiful ambiance. Good work! It was very theatrical (expecially the first track) and it painted a very clear picture.

Developer

Thank you I really appreciate!

This is exquisite. I really love the sounds you chose, and the sound design you integrated into these tracks. They came together to create a really lush, atmospheric, and beautiful soundscape. The worldbuilding you do with your music is truly incredible. Thanks so much for sharing!

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you very much for the words it means a lot! :)

1 - O Universe - I love the use of mixed synth and orchestra textures on this track. All the sound effects are very high quality and add a ton of atmosphere.

2 - Out Of Curiosity - The intro of this track is very open. It works as a great theme for exploring a new world. Also kinda reminds me of Penguin Cafe Orchestra if you gave them access to modern music making software.

3 - One Once One - The only words I can think of are "hauntingly beautiful" I'm always a sucker for music box led tracks, and this one is no exception. The dynamic of emotions that this track brings is impressive.

4 - Odd Ode - I see what you mean by each track is open to interpretation. This one sounds simultaneously at rest, yet still soul searching. Like you came to a conclusion, but that conclusion is that you are uncertain and that's okay.

Overall one of my favorite OST's so far. Great Work!

Developer (1 edit)

I like your interpretation of the last track :) The motion between the two chords doesn't feel totally resolved but still implies a sense breaking free.

I am like you so I couldn't resist using music boxes! =D Especially for that song that mixes different ideas and feelings somehow already connected. It felt like a good glue to use.

It's funny that your mention the openness of the introduction in the second song because the first repeated chord is indeed very open. And I used it as the base link of my ost.

I didn't go for a melodic leitmotiv this time, this one chord is actually played on the opening of first track (violins and voices). At the end of 3rd track too and shape the last song. Haha I went so much in detail with this response ^^.

Thank you very much for your feedback and telling me about your interpretation!

Very great arrangements in every track, gives off a very etheral, whimsical tone with it's instrumentation and arps.  The strings work really well with everything bright and high bell-tonal, and the SFX really add to the whole experience.  I also love how dynamic each of the tracks moves, very unique in it's structuring.  My only little tid bit would be the bubble SFX, since there's two different source samples @ diff parts in the stereo field, (and one is defintely blowing bubbles in a cup)

Overall a very nice listening experience, can definitely imagine it in the theme you wanted. GJ!

Developer(+1)

Haha yes there is definitely a "blowing bubbles in a cup" sample at some point ^^ But what are you saying, I'm not sure? Was it too obvious or is it about quality?

I appreciate your detailed feedback, thank you :)

Submitted

My apologies didn't put the time stamp, think it was just at 1:14 where the bubbles felt a bit off in the mix, everything else worked out very well in context! Had a great full relisten!

Developer

I see the one sample involved, it peirces a bit through the mix I get that. I didn't really master/mix anything and I have a lot to learn on that part ! :)

Wow, I was just blown away with this one! Great sound effects and music. All round just beautiful and moving. Great job! I love it. Just as Cents808 mentioned, reminds me of Ponyo! I also love the art work man! Perfect and it fit the theme very well.

Developer(+1)

Thank you ! :)

The amazing sound effects themselves caught my impression. Definitely a very unique set of tracks. Reminds me of the film Ponyo

Developer

Oh I should listen to Ponyo soundtrack I don't remember it! Thanks :)

Fantastique.

Absolutely love it! And the concept is very nice as well

Lovely soundtrack !

Developer(+1)

haha merci pour l'effort ! <3

You're right to point this out. I didn't realise it could be misleading to have this duality not explained better, and not actually into the songs (and have two titles per song 🤯..).

I imagined that they work for both perspectives.

I wish I had more time to explore more in depth this idea and give a b side to each chapter !

Merci and good Luck !

Submitted

Developer(+1)

Merci beaucoup!

Submitted(+1)

These are some very lovely tracks! The composition and instrumentation blends really well together, and it's very well executed. It also fits right with the concept you've presented. Amazing job!

Woaw!!! ;) Biz :3

Developer(+1)

Haha merci beaucoup !! Ça me touche :)

Trop content si tu as vu des bulles partout !^^

Rad sound design. Love the soundscape on The Unibirth. Got me hooked from track 1! First track is definitely my favorite. Great textures, good vibes. Excellent job following the theme.

Developer

Thank you very much !

Expansive mix here - I think each of the tracks sound so unique. The first two in particular are very explorative and make me want to delve more into sound design as they're packed to the brim with textural goodness. Burst into Worlds sounds like something that would be heard in a film - very contemporary sounding in the best way possible. I think my favorite is probably Lonelibless (great title!) because the vibes are immaculate and it gave me some Breath of the Wild memories - not sure if that was an inspiration or not, but I feel as though this track would fit perfectly into that game.

Production quality is great throughout. Really great job.

Developer

Hey thank you very much! This is really encouraging!! 😁

After doing one or two jam I felt like sound design was a fun a good way to expand your compositions, so do not hesitate ! Its opens new doors...

Haha funny how each time someone mentions Zelda games ^^ I barely touched the one on Wii back then (but I love Zelda/Nintendo music too much to pretend) It wasn't intentional on that last track but I guess it's in my musical dna now ^^

And thanks for paying attention to titles hehe ;)
