Message from the artist
EASTER EGGS =)

The name of the game is the name of the planet where the story begins, and it contains several easter eggs:
1. The word "entiox" is an anagram of "no exit", implying the absence of any positive ending. The letters can also be rearranged into "toxine", which is the reason why the Master can communicate with the main character telepathically;
2. The number "22" is a reference to "catch-22", meaning a dead end or a no win situation.

The numerical cypher underneath the name stands for "no escape" and also is the planet's location.

Theme

Inside my world

How does it fit the theme?
Our character is a space traveller whose ship got damaged after collising with a cloud of space trash. Trying to avoid more serious damage the character got under the influence of some unknown planet's gravity resulting in the ship's system shutdown and a rough landing on the planet.

Believing that the techincal issues were caused by the collision with the space trash cloud, the character decides to go out to the planet's surface. The natural landscapes here are stunning, but our character has no time for tourism hoping to get back on the route as fast as possible.
Damage evaluation reveals that the ship needs some minor repairment, but the tricky part is that the character has to find certain resources for it exploring the unknown planet.
Following the path, the character keeps finding the needed items, but the night comes fast. Considering the risks and the absence of knowledge about the planet, the character decides to spend the nighr by the campfire, although the cozy evening turns into a violent acid thunderstorm causing even more damage to the traveller's ship and space suite. Luckily the cave nearby becomes a safe harbour in this hurricane.

The disaster is wilding the while night and the next morning our character faces its excruciating consequences. A wave of hopelessness and homesickness falls on him, but he shakes it off and looks around the cave finding more useful items.

The character doesn't know the damaged suite doesn't protect him from the planet's toxic dust anymore. Influenced by the toxine, the character hears a voice welcoming him to the planet and promicing to lead him to the village where locals will help him repair the ship. Sturtled by such a turn of events, the character has no choice but to follow the voice's lead.

Soon the character arrives in the local village. The place seems friendly and everyone there is working hard growing food and taking care of the domesticated animals, but something is off. All the locals are of different race as if they are some kind of refugees from other planets, but somehow there are no kids. Having talked to some locals the character finds out about the so called Master who is some kind of a god on the planet, and the village works hard preparing offerings for this entity in exchange for protection from dangerous space invaders. They believe the Master is kind and almighty so they will send their kind assistance and repair the traveller's ship for him to go back home.
But to talk to the Master our character needs to prepare an offering first.
When he finally makes it there he finds himself in an enormously spacious yet dark and humid cave.
The Master absolutely doesn't seem to be kind and friendly to our character, instead the entity poses a threat to the character's life. Fighting against much stronger creature than he is, the character hears the omnious voice in his head say:
"welcome to my planet, stranger! this is the place where you will be safe forever!.."
The Master destroys the character's memory and he becomes just another local from the village with no chance to be saved.
In the final moments of the game the gamers hear the sound of another space ship crashing onto the planet Entiox-22* surface...

Everything very cohesive in this big and cinematic ost keeping the listener interested. Epic, big and devastating. I could feel the immensity of a vast universe through your composition. The whole soundtrack is very well executed.

Developer

Thank you so much!

I was listening to this in the car and, ngl, the first voice track kind of scared the shit out of me ahahahaha

Lovely piano work. The background detuned synth string effects (is that a guitar?) add a really nice "alien" sort of feeling in "Spaceship Crash" and "Storm". Nice job with the swells, slightly unsettling ambience and choir effects. Overall an enjoyable and complete experience, great work!

Developer

Thanks! Those detuned instruments are strings and distorted guitars mixed together)

Glad you like it!

I'm getting strong Interstellar vibes from this! You chose the perfect instruments for these tracks, especially those vocals! Also, the track "Spaceship Crash" was just special! Great Job!

Developer

Oh, interesting comparison, thanks!
And overall thanks for comment, glad you like it)

The piano sound is absolutely charming and the mixing of all is amazing. Voices are adding a really nice touch to the album. A lot of work on this one. Thank you for sharing !

How on earth did you manage to create such a high quality, produced soundtrack in 14 days. Personal favorite is "Consequences",  that sadness is unbelievably well portrayed. Amazing work :D

Developer

Thank you! Actually, before jam starts, there were about 4 tracks in plan) But when jam starts, in one day of creating the storyline, this number just jumped to 16, then few days before deadline, it decreased to 14 =)

Menu: Nice atmosphere to start off the OST. Uses a progression that I really attach to a space feel. And nice vox!

Spaceship Crash: Cool hybrid orchestral vibe. The quality is great!

Unknown Planet: That Mixolydian ♭6 feel is always sweet. Very similar progression helps connect it to the menu theme

Journey Begins: This really has an early game vibe to it.

Evening Rest: Beautiful piano work.

Storm: I love the dark progression. OST starting to get dark!

Consequences: Love the dark Phrygian Dominant intro into a more tragic minor mood in the rest of the track.

Voice 1: Love the inclusion of a track like this to add to the story.

Path Continues: Feels like a dark overworld type of track. Nice atmosphere.

Memories: Very emotional feeling track.

Strange Settlement: Introducing a calm mood. I like the faint vocals in the back.

Voice 2: another story track!

Way To The Being: Can really feel we're approaching the end now. Love the Andalusian cadence use. Excellent vox.

The End Of One More Path: Have to say I really loved the story. This really has a tragic ending feel as the main character essentially lost the final battle.

This was a very deep and cohesive OST. Great work!

Developer

Wow! That`s impressive! Thank you for such detailed documented emotions and impression =)

We will finalize this album and release it officially as a band album. With fuller arangement and, maybe, few more tracks=)

Sick album, great orchestration, Menu bar FAR the best of the album everything is amazing, atmosphere, 7/8 rythm , nice chord progressions. Rest of the album is nice too. in Storm, I don't know what happen but your strings sounds so high and bright compared to all the other tracks, I liked the more mellow tone. Anyway, fantastic work !

Developer

Thank you! Yep, album need more work and details, but overall glad you liked it)

Шикарна атмосфера, ще й в моєму улюбленому космічному сетінгу)

Коли читав опис про кислотний дощ - одразу згадав аналогічні погодні умови у No Man`s Sky.

Так, тут і з No Man`s Sky є схожі моменти, і з деякими епізодами Love, Death & Robots.

What an incredible story you've told through your music and description! It blows my mind how much thought you put into this - crafting the storylines (and including Easter Eggs mind you) plus writing a 14 track soundtrack! Hats off to you! The voice work used throughout is amazing. Beautifully produced and mixed. Well done!

Fantastic work with this - straight away the orchestration caught my attention. Great execution and layering with the various different elements. Explores a variety of different moods (the dramatic, almost movie-score vibe of Spaceship Crash to the hopeful and pensive feeling of Journey Begins) and executes well on the theme as a whole.

Storm gives me some Deus Ex HR/MD vibes at points, and warrants a mention of the continued use of vocals in some tracks - a rare element in jams but you've managed to really work it in well. Great example of being able to work with whatever the scene calls for.

All in all, great work - managing to get 14 tracks down to this level of detail is crazy and deserves commendation. I think my favorite of the bunch is Memories - deliciously ambient and pensive. Shout-out to the spoken word in The End of One More Path, too, as that was unexpected but worked well.

Great work! Really loved the ambiences and the fact that you recorded voices is a great plus! The quality all along the tracks doesn't shift: it stays reaaaally good! "Storm" is by far my favourite with the redesigned voice!

I love the vocal work on display throughout. Very creative! You give such a sense of atmosphere, and each piece has its own little arc as they tell a full story. You had my full attention for the entire runtime and I was always looking forward to the next place you would take things after each track.

The production quality is great throughout and there’s such a strong sense of story-arch. Number of tracks is also impressive! There’s a clear cinematic/trailer atmosphere that works really nicely. Be a bit more confident with subtly varying repeating ostinatos and patterns in your orchestral writing, as this will just help in taking such passages up a level, but overall very strong work :)

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Yep, i still working on orchestra writing, especially in short terms)

Big thanks for your time and comment!
