- Very good GDD, I loved seeing the whole design ideas with such complex but easy to digest details. Very cool! The ideas and foundations link very nicely to the game jam, and the underlying themes are mysterious & magical with an awesome soundtrack and sound effects!. Thoroughly enjoyed my little play through. Feedback: Adjust the text that is shown to make it easier to read Adjust the designs of some of the static objects, as some of them blend together and become very hidden The rest of the game is nicely laid out and thought out, please keep going with this. I would be very interested to see how you implement new items and upgrades to the movement :)

Tell us about your game!
We've made a platformer that focuses basic wall jumping and climbing. Went with a celeste control scheme with an animal well esque aesthetic.
Controls are WASD + Mouse, with other schemes explained.
Deep in a sewer under an unknown magical tower, creatures crawl out of the trash. One little blob must make his way out to confront his creator, to find out why they exist.

This game jam was a lot of fun. Had a great time with the community.

Really fun game! The last sequence was awesome and stressful, but that squished jump pad was a cheap trick and I had lots of problems with how wall jumping works. Great sound design and the ending was... let's say surprising.
Such a beautiful, quirky but creepy game! Much like the original homunculus videos hahaha

A fantastic looking celeste-like with a cute little slimey blob. Really fantastic world building and character design.
The controls felt a little iffy when sticking to walls and wall jumping but not so much that I couldn't beat it. The final chase section though had me raging and I know for a fact there will have been a conversation of "Hehehe... what if we put 1 tiny little bounce pad in a really small area right below a spike half way through the chase section" then the rest of the group was like "Hell yeah"... I see you... torturous people!
But yeah what a fantastic little game that eludes to a whole lot more in the world without giving too much away. A masterclass in design in my experience.

This was really good, end part was crazy hard for me so I didn't end up finishing. A checkpoint halfway through would've helped alot.
Truly incredible, the last leg kicked my buns, but the end screen was totally worth it. Absolutely oozing character, loved all the blursed buds we made a long the way! Quality feels well above and beyond what anyone could make in 2 weeks, I'm totally blown away, amazing work! 💚

I genuinely enjoyed everything about this game. The sound and art design really come together to create such a detailed atmosphere. I love the subtle storytelling, the character designs, and the juxtaposition between the silly talking beeps and the spooky surroundings. Top to bottom, I'm impressed, and my only complaint is that I wish there was more content so I could keep playing for hours!
We really enjoyed the characters and dialogues; they are definitely the strongest points of your game! The climbing mechanic with stamina is also a fantastic feature.
One area for improvement could be the clarity of the text. The current typography makes it a bit challenging to read. Additionally, while the sound effects match the style of the game, they are occasionally too loud or distracting.

I really liked the characters and world building they provided, they were really charming. I also thought the platforming was pretty good, though I think a checkpoint in the final section would have been good.
Great game! It plays very well and the NPCs were cool looking. One suggestion I'd add is to make some of the spikes a bit more visible. Cheers!
The amount of different mechanics that you pulled off in two weeks is incredible, and even more the fact that they're all very responsive. I totally got Celeste feelings there. Well done!
I love the world created here, instantly attached to the characters I came across. I dropped down to visit the deep voiced purple one because I wanted to know what was going on. The sound was excellent, the controls were tight, the victory was fulfilling. The last section felt like a very fast ramp up in difficulty, but I found myself getting better with the mechanics with each death.
Cool Game, I could feel Celeste, Super meat boy, and obviously Mario.
